 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera smiled and handed her the bag of coins Clorogne had given her. "Might as well grab something while you're here. A token or something to eat. I don't care. No sense in wasting such free time with no money." She told the girl easily. Besides, she'd gotten a snack for herself and that was all she needed. It left a fair bit in the bag, enough for Akila to get something.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thank you, Aleera." Akila grinned and took the bag, looking around, before saying quietly, "Are any of the other rebels here?" A gyro stand caught her attention. ((I'm going to pretend like they have those.))

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((It's our own little word so why not?))
Aleera glanced around at the crowd before admitting to the girl. "One in ten people is part of the rebellion in one way or another. Either fighters, families of fighters, spies, or suppliers." She said in a low voice. "They're everywhere. You never know who is one. Even I only know some of them. Mostly the ones close to Markus." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"And what is Markus?" Akila asked, hoping it sounded like a casual continuation of the conversation. She quirked her head curiously.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera raised an eyebrow. "Didn't I tell you? Huh. I thought I had. Whatever. Anyways, Markus is the leader." She told the girl, her voice just barely loud enough to be heard. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila blinked in surprise, "L...Leader... He's the ..." She shook her head, "That seems like a lot of work..?" She cracked a joking grin, insted of speaking her mind. That would be dangerous...and she never expected it from him...but she supposed he definately had the stamina and charisma for it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged. "I suppose it is, but everything seems to run smoothly. Besides, he's the most determined of the lot to get revenge on the king." She paused then added sadly. "His whole family was killed when they couldn't pay the taxes." The was the reason he told everyone for the rebellion. No one, not even Aleera, knew of Markus' secondary ambition. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Oh God..." Akila covered her mouth with her hand. She knew the... Kind of by default. She'd see them around the market or with Markus. "Oh my God, They're...". She suddenly recalled what he'd been sayin to the King in the field. "Poor soul." She murmured. "I hope they win... WE win." she made sure it was a whisper.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera's bright eyes were sorrowful. "Yeah." She gave the girl a one armed hug. "Don't worry. I don't know anyone more determined than Markus. He'll make sure to win if it's the last thing he does." She told Akila reassuringly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila looked her in the eye, "The king WILL fall." And with that she pulled away just a little, "We should move...just standing here makes us suspicious looking."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera let go of the girl, letting her pull away. "It's not that bad, considering we're in the market." She said, thought she started to walk, browsing the stalls. "The market is basically a big meeting place for everyone." It wasn't odd to see people occasionally stopping and talking. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"It does when you are the new, old comers." Akila smiled a little, and wandered to the Gyro stand. She bought a lamb Gyro and paid for it, before rejoining Aleera. She took a bite, "Oh, it's been FOREVER since I've had one of these."
