Raphael found something to read in the mean time while waiting for the sun to rise. During that time he wandered over to the window when he saw a shift in the weather and spent the remainder of the night watching the sudden rains fall.

It seemed at that time that Roxanne was absent, but this was not so. She simply waited at the tavern room of the inn, making sure to watch and inspect each and every guest that came down the stairs. She would not let that vampire escape, no matter what!

The days of a humanity long past had begun to invade his memories and Raphael grimaced. He turned his attention away from the window to see Justine fast asleep. Yes, a small drink or two should be fine....Even if Roxanne did get in the room, she'd be unable to prove any connection between Justine and her vampire, so she should be fine. Closing the blinds upon finishing his rain gazing, he turned to quietly leave the room, carefully closing and locking the door behind him as he made his way down to the tavern. When he saw Roxanne seemingly examining the very souls of every single person in the room with her eyes, Raphael scowled and tried to keep to the shadows of the room as best he could.

Roxanne sat waiting at the bar, staring over at the stairways all the while as she occassionally sipped her ale.

Roxanne eyed Raphael suspiciously until she reccognised him as the nice gentleman from before. "Hello!" she waved at him, grinning as broadly as she could.

"Oh...!" Raphael looked up, pretending to be surprised when Roxanne pranced over to him. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there....I realize this may sound hypocritical, but it's rather late for a drink, don't you think?"

"Maybe, but I've got a job to do and someone to meet. I don't have much of a choice in the matter, so I might as well drink." Roxanne replied with a small shrug, as if it all didn't bother her too much.
