"East. right." Amie angled towards the tree and flew as fast as she dared go with passengers. The cold air whipped by, almost fast enough to draw tears from one's eye.

nerevar7incarnate Nerevar looked over to the tree Lutra had pointed at. "Why does it stand so high over the others Lutra? Some sort of magic?"

Uri looked up at Amie as she flew p. Uri jumped up ontop of the trees and saw around him the on coming creatures. Amie took off to the east and with a glance back at Lyviel,"Lets hurry and follow before we are left behind." Uri travled across the tops of the trees. His light foot technique helped him keep balance upon the weak branches and leaves.

Lyviel nodded to Uri and then followed among the tree branches, killing demons as they came. "We need to speed up the pace, they know where we are headeding!" She called out, being pulled down by a group of demons as they jumped up and grabbed her ankles, pulling her out of the trees. Lyviel called out and began fighting off the demons, tired from having to run from them. She soon found herself surrounded by demon. "Dang it..." Lyviel cursed under her breath and the attacked enought to get back into the tree and speed up her pace.

Nerevar could see Kimi and Uri be chased down by the demons. Amplifying his bioelectricity he let out an arch of lightning from his arms aimed at the demons directly behind the two of the party in the trees. The demons fell smoking through the branches to the ground, but many still followed. Nerevar shouted to Kimi and Uri, "This obviously won't stop them but it will give you back up, I'll target any getting too close though you'll still have to keep an eye out I won't get them all."

Amie was watching those on the ground closely though she daren't help. She left protection of them to Nerevar and continued to fly, low enough to be seen, high enough to be safe from most demons. However, those that got too close to her burst into flames and fell from the sky. And Amie continued to listen to the directions given her.

Lutra called directions over the wind whipping around them, muttering to herself the riddles that she had used to remember them. she scanned the trees. haven't seen this view in a long time, things have changed. "there!" Lutra pointed to a place devoid of trees farther to the north and east.

it doesn't matter to me if we continue or not, but the story did revolve around Uri.))
