"Ungodly wasteland aside, anyone remember where we're supposed to go next?" Van said with a sigh, taking another crack at the map.

((Perhaps Atius has set up shop nearby the fountain of youth so we don't have more block down the line?))

"We're not too far off from our next destination, a small mountain town just outside of these mountains. We'll probably be there within the week." Mala assured Van.

"You've been carrying Anise for a while now; arms need a break?" Van asked, handing Jaquel his map back after trying to uncrumple it.

{I'm not finished just yet, but I have started on that roleplay I have told you about and I would like to know what you think - if you do not mind.}

Mala handed the sleeping baby over to Van carefully, so she would not awaken. "Yes, thank you. I can tell you just want to hold the little darling too."

((I read the conflict/plot part...but it's all a lot of reading. o.o ))

"You say that like I was trying to hide it." Van said with a grin before smiling down at the baby in his arms. He was relieved to see Anise was doing alright despite the hot and dry surroundings that they trudged through.

{Sorry. sweatdrop I didn't want it to be like the normal half-assed things I put up. I wanted to actually go into depth with this idea, to make it something serious and well thought out. If it doesn't work out as a roleplay, I'm going to make it into a novel. I really want to exercise my writing, and something as detailed as this will help with that. Or so I hope at least.}

"She's a sweet, sweet little baby. There would be something wrong with you if you didn't want to hold her." Mala joked with a broad grin.

((I don't know why (yet) but a friend just gave me over a million gold in presents. O_O When I PMed her asking why, she was like "HOW DID YOU KNOW I SIGNED THEM ALL ANONYMOUS" and I'm like "You missed one. XD" I lol'd. XD ))

"You'd probably divorce me on the spot if I didn't." Van joked with a chuckle. "She's our beautiful baby girl, why wouldn't I want to hold her?"

((And I have no doubts that I can see of it not being a good roleplay. Even if it doesn't work out, you definitely have enough to turn this into a novel. Definitely.))

"I'm not jealous." Larai stated calmly with a slight shrug.

"All of our babies are perfect no matter what."

"I'm kidding, I'd just like some sign that you two still care about us since writing home is apparently beyond you." Van teased, putting an arm around Larai's shoulders, pulling her close to give her a kiss on the top of her head.

"I have to seccond that notion." Mala agreed with Van, looking over at the twins now with a small smile.

"I haven't had the chance." Larai said with a small pout.

"It's been a good five hundred years since you first left. That's bull and you know it." Van said.
