((XD Well, the thing sits on a cloud...I guess I didn't freeze it thinking it wasn't sentient. XD ))

Van looked over to see if Kai had any excuses he felt like sharing, but saw an all too familiar expression. It was the kind Van was always putting on when trying not to look like a softie before he and Mala had gotten together. 'Probably just didn't want to kill his reputation.' he thought with a grin. "You're lucky I've got an arm full of baby, or you'd be here too." he joked.

"Speaking of Anise, you'll have to keep a close eye on her if you don't want me stealing her back." Mala half-joked with an ever so broad grin.

"I know she's adorable, but I'm not going to hoard her from you." Van said with a chuckle.

"I know." Mala grinned still, gazing at their little baby once again.

"If anyone else wants to hold her, you should probably speak up before we get too attached." Van joked with a slight chuckle. It seemed like people who'd never had kids always seemed to want to hold the baby, even more so for the older siblings.

"When we next set up camp, can I hold her?" Larai asked, not wanting to risk dropping Anise just in case something did attack them.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Of course! I'd hate to deprive her of quality time with her siblings." Van said smiling down at the baby in his arms. "Especially when you and Kai are probably going to take off once this little adventure is over."

{You know that roleplay I showed you? Do you think it would help get people to join if I made premade areas and premade dukes/dutchesses?}

"Not like I'll let them." Mala chimed in, looking over at the twins. "I want to spend at least a little time of peace with my babies before they go~"

((Maybe. And I'd join, but I feel like I'd make a lot of crap posts in comparison to the novel-ness of it all. sad ))

"Do you have to call us that? It's embarrassing..." Kai muttered.

{Eh, I'll probably just post as I always do when it does get going - which should say something about what I think of that. XD I just want the plot and the characters to be novel-esque. I could care less if the actual posts are so lengthy, so long as the plot remains well thought out and thrilling. So don't worry about "crap" posts.}

"Yes, I do. Because you are both my perfect little babies and you'll never be any older than seven in my eyes."

((Then I shall continue to ponder up a char and make a profile tonight. I've only got another 10 minutes before I have to go since I have much cooking to get done, followed by class. Will give detailed rant later. XD ))

"Be glad I'm not calling you 'my perfect little babies' too. It really comes with parenting." Van said with a chuckle as he moved his arm from Larai to muss up Kai's hair.

"Speaking of parenting, are we going to have to heap all our hopes of being grandparents on Anise, or are you two actually going to find significant others?" Van said.
