I find it easier to divide the bid by 2 in my head then add the quotient.

Well I Mean I think it's easier than trying to multiply by a decimal unless you turn it into a fraction and multiply by 3/2 to get a 150% answer.

I prefer to divide and add though.

About that try part.... I'm sure you do...
