Askeptykal Lord Setar Askeptykal Lord Setar Askeptykal I wouldn't call it a rule... I'd go more along the lines of "common decency" or something like that. ...yeah, that does sound pretty lame. To hell with common decency. If I'm pissed, I curse. I expect you to deal with it, not cry. And Rethion, "no cursing" makes the site PG, not PG-13. There is plenty of cursing in PG-13 movies. "No cursing" basically degrades the site to the level of little kids. Plus, there's a huge grey area on cursing - some people consider "Jesus!" and "Goddamn" and "damn" to be cursing, yet they're allowed to say "damn" in the Harry Potter books =/ At the least, let's hold back some of the harsher ones, like the f-bomb. I can't see how that would be needed that badly anyway. Sorry, but if you don't like my cursing, turn on the filter. It's there for a reason. It's not that I personally have a problem with it. It's just that it's sort of disrespectful for a guild to be swarming with major profanity, and it's easier to keep it down while it's not a problem then it is to try to remove when it does become a problem. If it does become a problem, you tell the people that have a problem with it to turn on the filter. Cursing is not a problem on its own, because it is a matter of opinion on if it is bad or not.
