 Levana held in her tears until she made it to a nice secluded spot of the common room. Once there she let it all out. She never hurt anyone's feelings in all her life and it hurt her badly that she had done so without realizing it. She hugged her knees and buried her face in them. Maybe she should give up on Charon..She sniffled. She really did like him and never wanted to come off as annoying to him. Next time she sees him she'll...again more tears flooded out. She didnt know what she'd do.

Indala entered the Common Room and looked around carefully to try and spot a girl who resembled Nevin.
It took her two sweeps of the room to notice the girl sitting in a secluded corner of the room.
Her shoulders were heaving up and down; it probably meant she was crying.
Indala sighed. Poor thing, I wonder what happened?
She walked cautiously up to where she was sitting and spoke softly,
"Hey. Er, would you happen to be Levana? Your brother Nevin sent me in to find you. He's pretty worried about you."
Indala bent down slightly so as to be on her level, and smiled encouragingly.

Levana looked up and brushed her tears away quickly, "y..yes I am..Levana" she stuttered out. "I...I....I m ok" she sniffled as more tears came out betraying her lie.

Tamara "Goldilocks" Radcliffe Tamara's mind reached out to the talking ferret Pan's mind, and spoke. Her thoughts sounded weak, but oddly compelling. Pan...Pan... I need you to come here... she projected the image of the clearing, and get my wand... I'm... I'm being taken towards the Shack... I need you.... to get... my wand... to me... As she thought these things to him, her thoughts began to fade. When she finished, she was no longer conscious.

 P A N T A L A I M O N Pantalaimon, Lucy's talking ferret, was curled up into a small furry ball in front of the fireplace, trying to hear the other two girls talking. He frowned softly as he heard a voice in his mind, wondering where it came from. He straightened up on his back paws as he recognized Tamara's voice. What the hell... he thought, his frown deepening. His eyes widened in shock as he heard her message and weak voice. Beginning to look around for Lucy, he swore under his breath as he recalled that she had to go to the Library. He sniffled and took a deep breath. He pushed the portrait of the Fat Lady open and sneaked silently into the Forbidden Forest.

Indala looked at Levana with concern, seeing through her lie.
"Are you sure?"
It was then that Indala realized that she had not introduced herself.
"Oh, sorry,"she started, reaching to the back of her head
and releasing the clip that had held her hair up for the Valentine's day event.
"I'm Indala Grey," she stated with a small smile.
Levana was an extremely cute girl,
and actually made Indala want to reach out and hug her.
Normally, she avoided physical contact unless she was really associated with a person.
"I was seated at the same table with your brother Nevin.
When he saw you leave I offered to come in here for him to see if you were alright." Movement caught Indala eye, and she turned to look. Lucy's pet Pan dashed out of the portrait without so much as a glance around the room. Hmm, that's strange. Doesn't he normally stay in to common room if he isn't with Lu?She shrugged and focused back on Levana.

Levana was quiet for a long moment, "Im sorry Indala " she said rubbing her eyes, " I hurt someones feelings at that table and..I..Im not used to that" she sniffled again. "Thank you..." a small smile appeared on her face at the girls kindness. It was helping her a little bit.

Aww she's so cute!
Indala smiled sweetly at Levana. "I wouldn't worry about it too much if I was you.
You can always apologize for your behavior if you are embarrassed by it."
She paused for a moment. "How would you like to go with me to see your brother?
He's just outside, by the Fat Lady. I'm sure that you will feel better when you see him."
Indala stood up and offered her hand to Levana, hoping that she would come with her to see Nevin.

Levana smiled at Indala. She was so nice and reminded her of herself when she defended Nevin. "I dont think I should go out yet, not till I am more...composed" she said laughing a little as she wiped her tears. "and...I did apologize but it didnt..help much" she sniffled but rubbed her eyes quickly to stop the impending flood. It made her feel horrible to break down so badly, especially in front of a first year. As a second year she felt she needed to be a roll model to her and so far she felt as if she was failing.

"Alright then," Indala stood up and turned around,sitting on the couch with Levana.
"Why don't we talk about something else?" She stopped in thought for a moment.
"So, I've never really been able to learn about many muggle things.
Early Nevin and I got on the subject and I asked him about rubber duckies."
She frowned slightly, "apparently they aren't very useful."
She looked at Levana and smiled, still a bit embarrassed about the conversation she had had with Nevin.
Hopefully it would cheer her up some.

Levana laughed. It felt good to laugh despite feeling horrible inside. "rubber duckies?" she said through her laughing. A mixture of her sad tears and now laugh tears. She couldnt help but giggle as she thought of how that conversation must of have gone. "If you need to know anything else about muggles I'd be happy to tell you as well" she said trying to stop her giggling but failing.

Indala blushed more as Levana laughed, but was happy to hear it,
was a lot better than sobs anyway.
She smiled and laughed with her new friend "Thanks for the offer!
I'm really looking forward to taking Muggle Studies too. I've always been interested in muggle stuff."
Perhaps because I was never allowed to... she thought to herself.
"How is it that we live in the same house and yet have never met?" she continued.

Levana laughed, "I am not sure, perhaps we just weren't paying attention." she said finally getting the flow under control. She sniffled lightly "Thank you Indala" she said smiling, " Despite the fact I just met you, you are a very nice friend. I know I will be talking with you more" she said with another laugh. Her mood had been lifted greatly by this small conversation with Indala. Yet another friend has been added to her infinite list of others. "I should wait till my eyes aren't red to go out though, he'll worry something worse has happened, he is always like that" she said smiling as she thought of her brother and his overactive worrying.

She smiled and nodded in agreement with her statement,
"Perhaps we weren't. I have a bad habit of not paying attention to my surroundings; been working on it lately.
Hogwarts is definitely not the place to NOT pay attention."
She giggled a bit at the truth of the statement.
Already she had tripped over a desk, a table,
gotten stuck in a vanishing stair,
and witnessed what had transpired in the Forbidden Forest with Ammar the centaur. She sighed.
Can't imagine what kind of trouble I will get myself into for the next six years. I'm so glad father doesn't know about any of this.

Levana laughed. It was fun talking to Indala. For a first year she was rather mature and a very good conversationalist. "That is true, there is so many things that you can get hurt on. I swear I almost fell off one of the moving staircases once!" she said with a small shudder at that memory. "I really do not see the purpose in moving them"
