"Easily...I've been stuck eating table scraps for months...this is heaven." Akila took a big bite on the breading.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera raised an eyebrow, remembering that little fact. "Ah, right. In that case, enjoy. I think I'll just keep to my own food though." She said, pulling out a peach she'd tucked aside for later. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"good for you...fruit is healthier." Akila shrugged, but continued to eat her Gyro, happily. Swallowing, she asked, "So what do we do for the rest of the day?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged. I was just planning to wander the market, answering people's questions. Most people know who I am." She replied easily. "Like you, I've never really had a "vacation" while in his service." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"May I wander with you?" Akila asked curiously, swirling from side to side.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Go right ahead." Aleera said with an easy smile. "I won't stop you. Do what you want for what free time you get." She told the girl dismissively. "Just be prepared for interruptions." As if to prove her point, someone approached her just then, asking about the rumor. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila nodded, "Alright..." She listened, "Yes, it's true...It's the King's brother, Clorogne..."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera answered the rest of the man's questions before he was satisfied and walked away. "My whole walk through the market so far has been like that, one question after the other." She explained to Akila, taking another bite of her peach. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Pretty much." Aleera agreed with a nod. They walked slowly around the market, up and down the rows, pausing often to stop and answer questions. Everywhere they went, the rumor could be heard as it passed from one person to another. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila and Aleera took turns telling the 'truth' of the rumors and spreading the story. It felt odd to lie so smoothly. Akila finished her food earlier, and with a happy stomach, and a guilty conscience, she walked on, looking at the stands.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... A couple hours was all Aleera could stand of spreading the lies for Clorogne. "I'm done." She announced suddenly, turning and heading back to the inn. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Alright...just don't be in the same room with him while he's drunk." Akila said softly, recalling the last time, which had resulted in her broken arm. Ouch. "Be careful." she continued through the market, looking for her old house...for her parents.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged easily. "I can take care of myself. Don't worry about me." She said then left the girl at the market. She entered the inn, looking around the first floor, then decided against it and headed up the stairs, intending to go to her own room. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila got to the small hut like house. She went to knock on the door, when she saw into the window. Shee didn't even know these people. It wasn't her parents. Strangers. Did they sell their... Her home? She turned away, instead walkinghe forest edge, and slipped her hood down as she smelt the fresh scent of pine.
Clorogne sat on his bed still, but papers were scattered around him, and the stone rested under his matress. In his hand was a bottle a whiskey from the tavern below.
