Kikala nodded before starting to teach Reiko how to play, pointing out each piece and what it did, how it moved, etc. etc.

Reiko listened attentively to the explanation. This was likely to be yet another game she would rarely take seriously, but it was still fun and interesting to learn it.

"I think I've mostly got it.", Reiko murmurs in response. She examines the different pieces, mentally going over how they move and attack to help cement it to her memory.
