Name: Kahbrohm Age: 16 17 Sex: Male Sexual Orientation: Yelling Craft: Weyrbrat Rank: Extra Bratty Location: High Reaches Physical Description: Kahbrohm is very average in height for a boy his age, but that’s about where that ends. While not beefy, he holds more muscle than a teenage boy typically would (and looking at his adoptive father, there’s no surprise to what he’s aspiring). He has brown eyes, and short, choppy, sandy brown-blond hair that sticks out at any angle it can - clearly Kahbrohm doesn’t care what it’s doing. Personality: When Kahbrohm enters a room, everybody turns to see - partially because he doesn’t make any quiet entrances, but also because there is no slouching, no slumping, and he absolutely knows he’s the best person in the room. At least, he carries himself like he’s the best person in the room (unless, of course, his father is in the room - then Dad is). He also talks like he’s the best person in the room. There are very few weak points in the absolute confidence that Kahbrohm has - and good luck finding them. Especially when he considers most people to be, generally, inferior to him.
And oh, if he thinks it, don’t you know it. He doesn’t hide his thoughts on any matter, even if that means you’ll dislike him. He doesn’t really care about things like your hair, or your clothes. He’s cutting to the point - if you can’t handle chores, you’re too soft to be a rider; if you think you’re more important than a dragon, you might as well find a hole and bury yourself in it since you don’t deserve their protection. If you’re weak, Kahbrohm will let you know. If you’re not - well, he’ll also let you know. There are no airs of deception or manipulation here. Only truth and genuine opinion.
One would think this attitude makes him stupid - but it’s rather the opposite with Kahbrohm. He’s almost as bright as they come, picking up on most tasks with relative ease and great annoyance to those around him. This simply just fuels his attitude and how he treats people who struggle. While a firm nudge some a respected party could sway him for a time, it won’t be for long.
While his confidence is nigh unbreakable, it is almost surprising how quickly he sets off once he’s set off. He doesn’t get upset, he gets angry and is prone to jump straight into fights. While it’s not a constant state of being, it is one that has been seen enough for those to know that there is a beast inside of him - and one that if combined with his wits, would be absolutely dangerous. Positive Trait ListConfident, Smart, Genuine Negative Trait List Egotistical,Bully, Explosive Temper History: Kahbrohm has led an easy life. While he was given to the creche as a baby, he was adopted by a bronzerider by the name of N’ori very early on. Life was good for a young babe and in his mind, it was perfect that way. Except one day when he was about 5 his father came home with a second child - one he hadn’t seen in the creche, and one that clung to N’ori all the time. His name was Dehka and Kahbrohm hated him. Hate was really the only way he could explain it. While Kahbrohm was smart and picked up on things easily - much to his father’s praise, Dehka mostly cried a lot and still got a lot of his father’s attention. It seemed very backwards - and totally unfair.
He made sure his younger-same-age brother knew this was exactly what was happening too.
Their relationship has not improved at all over the years. Not even when Threadfall knocked their father’s dragon out of the sky - and kept both brothers in close proximity to help their father tend to the dragon’s needs.
Now a candidate, Kahbrohm is at the ready to show everybody what he’s worth. Though they should really know already. Other: Anything else you want to add?
