The nerves were mostly dissipated, even when the Bronze Impressed by tackling his rider. "They're not so bad, are they?" She smiled, watching the hatchlings. Such little characters they all were! She didn't even mind that all the Impressions so far were boys. Still plenty of eggs that could Impress to girls! And even if none did this time, there were always other hatchings, weren't there? Until then, she would enjoy watching pairs be made.
And suffer the heat. "It's awfully warm here, nothing like at Tillek..." Tarnaria made a face, shielding her eyes. "I could do with some shade right about now!" She looked at Jacqoul, "What about you?"

Ezyzu - Western Candidate
“Certainly the best time to soak in all this attention!” She laughed, soft and joyful. “Though something tells me he’ll still get all the attention he’d ever want.” He certainly seemed to get his fill now, it wasn’t hard a leap of imagination to see him still gaining it as he grew. The brown looked rather content to sit and be pet. Ezyzu glanced up at Papys, before back to the brown dragonet. “Do you think we could go meet him?”
Oh!.. The rightfully angry bronze had found his match, as a chorus of eggs began to wobble and one even began to crack. Come on eggs, you can do it!
The smell of oil invaded her nose, overtaking the hot smell of the sands and ambiance of the hatching. Ezyzu glanced around before spying what seemed to be a rather nervous candidate. And another behind him, as well. Nervous, but she hadn’t seem them before now. Were they late? No matter! “Over here!” She called to the fellow candidates, waving him over in their direction. “Come over here so you can see, it’s okay!”

[ soui ]
Planting a kiss against Yudueth's face as thanks for the lift and the lower, the healer apprentice hurried over to where she'd seen the healers take the injured candidate. From what she'd seen it didn't look like his wounds would be too severe and the healers would be on to other things. If this was the worst this hatching had to offer, she was very much for it.
Approaching the young man, Soui was careful to call out before she got close and could potentially startle him. "My name is Soui, I'm here to help you." He'd already been mostly tended to by the healers who were, well, healers, but she could at least keep an eye on him. "They should have treated your wounds and given you something for the pain. Would you like some water, or anything else I can get you?" Her tone was not soft and condescending, and each question was spoken as a proper question. There would be no sympathy for someone who'd gotten mauled, not when it wasn't really life threatening and - from what she'd seen - he might have deserved.

Rokar bored the treating of his injury without complaining because quite frankly, he knew he'd deserved it, he had been an a** in his thoughts, not that he thought he was wrong.. but he shouldn't have been thinking so HARD around impressionable babies, of course one would react. He glared at the bright bronze from the Healer's tables as he was treated, watching as he impressed.
He turned when someone called out and turned his head to the direction of the voice and shrugged, rubbing his now bandaged chest without realising it, since it had been numbed by numbweed, he hadn't been allowed any Fellis though, just in case one of the remaining hatchlings was meant for him. "Water would be good" he rasped out, not really wanting to socialise but ignoring her would have been rude, and he'd JUST been reminded by a dragonet, to NOT be.

Jagmund
He was feeling pretty good about himself. After the embarrassment from earlier, he found delight in showing how superiour he was to other Candidates, it was just unfortunate that Marinel was his chosen target. Yet, his day was about to get better.
Unexpectedly, the bronze that had chosen to glance at him and leave was back, and with force. He leaped at Jagmund, hitting the Candidate in the chest and knocking him onto his butt.
Jagmund stared into whirling rainbow eyes as he heard the most glorious voice he'd ever heard. You've got to be KIDDING me! You shouldn't waste a second thought on my brother, when you were always meant for me. How insulting that you'd turn away from your Lishanth just because I thought to work the room. Please. You know the truth, Jagmundmine. Now, do you need me to beat this brat up?
"You're completely right, Lishanth! Your brother is clearly for someone else. It was a smart move to guage the audience, I was just not paying attention." He had seen Impression, but he hadn't expected what it would feel like. And it felt amazing! Finally, his dream bronze had come to him, and he to the bronze, and everything was completely and utterly right in the world, more right than he could have imagined. He felt tears in his eyes but was quick to wipe his hand across his face before any could spill.
Jagmund - he would keep his glorious name whole, one of the Western choices he approved of - got back to his feet and set his hand on Lishanth's neck, delight sending a shockwave through his body that HIS dragon was real. He then stared at Marinel, and smirked.
"Nah, I think we've shown this boy what's up. Come, Lishanth, he's not worth your time."
The bronze's eyes whirled red briefly, gaze boring into Mari, before stepping away. Right. What is worth my time is getting something to eat. Everything else can wait.
With that, the pair made their way to the feeding table.
Kamila and Cituvath
The gold - who was actually a bronze! - Impressed to a Western Candidate. A Western Weyrling, now.
"Hah, look at that! You lost your bet on that one, Cituvath."
I did not, that bet is void, the dragon replied, huffing. I bet on a gold, not a bronze.
"You're just a sore loser, Cituvath!"
So you say, despite being wrong in your other choices, she pointed out, which quieted her rider for a moment.

Juhvek
He looked at the two wandering dragonets until the request was made, before looking back towards where his sister sat contently on the shoulders of her green. It was his first time standing, despite being Weyrborn, and it seemed as though everything was going to be unusual about it.
Never the less, the broad man stepped out from the ranks he'd been clustered into to stand more openly, gesturing to a spot on either side of him to start the requested line. Well, it seemed entirely practical, at least.
----
Papys
"Oh hello!" Papys greeted Vash brightly as she was ushered over to their little group...just as the single bronze still on the sands requested a line up - presumably of the boys!
"Oh! It looks like that one would like us to line up, I'll..I'll be right back!" he said brightly as he moved to go join the already rather sullen looking man who was starting one. Well, no matter if he wasn't first!
----
Kinyegele
Kinye looked from her brown distraction when a new voice piped up, gently nudging her brother. "Go line up!" she said, "I'll be right here! Or...do you want me to come with you?" she wouldn't mind if Ionan wanted her company while being sized up by a bronze!
