T'would be slight, the ripple of existence as the man known as Fade ElBrunen became one with existence, frosted orbs evaluating a shattered landscape with the impunity availed only to those who have transcended reality to a degree. Smiling with serenity, the man would lift his left hand, to gaze upon the pallid flesh which adorned his figure, only to stare derisively at the right hand, coated with shadowsteel, though glittering Rune stared poignantly back at him. A clattering of shadowsteel against multiple other metals would resound then, heralding the existence once more of the Eye.
"My, my...
What games have been played in my absence?"
Black hair flowed within the course of the wind, before Fade would once more disappear. He knew to where he traveled, as would Leon - no doubt sensing his presence.
"I suppose we shall see."
It was as a whisper to the wind.

Leon bowed once more before the statue before he turned around, "Yes, my son is in this world. I can feel him. Things will be difficult with him around." His eyes closed ad he contemplated on the events to come. Either way, he knew he would lose...

The air about Leon and Fade would ripple as the Eye faded into existence, fingertips dancing in wild gesticulation as the man previously known as Gabriel Motosuwa addressed Leon, both father and nemesis.
"It seems that things have changed quite drastically here, haven't they?"
Laughing beneath his breath, the son would look upon the father, blue eyes flashing with no small amount of derision. It had truly been some time since their last parting, and the terms by which they had parted were not the most agreeable. Growling beneath his breath, shadowsteel arm would rise into an angrily pointing gesture.
"It has been far too long, and yet not long enough.
You know why I am here."

"You want the final incantation to unlock the seal..."
Leon laughed for the first time in what had seemed an eternity. It echoed through the temple quarter summoning a familiar darkness that came to his aid. He bared his fangs at his youngest son, "Gabriel, Gabriel. Why do you torment your father so?" His red eyes flashed as his skin paled and his hair grew into wild jet black locks.
"Well, the secret dies with me." Perun's katana appeared in his hands, and his tail wrapped itself around his waist, "...and it begins...BREAK!" As the words left his mouth, the first barrier disappeared from his seal. He waited for thousands of years for this moment. "Though I might fall in battle, I will never be defeated!"

"Oh, how perceptive you have become."
Laughing sardonically, the man known as Fade ElBrunen would begin his own transformation, although the shift would be kept half dormant. Pallid skin turned to greyed flesh, azure eyes shifting to ebon, soulless orbs. Smiling wickedly, thus would the Shadowlord be reborn.
Motosuwa Rune flashing upon his skin for the first time, thus would reaction time be decreased, the ability to dodge increasing exponentially with each passing moment. Such irony, that the power which would defeat Leon was his own - Gabriel's ascension would be assured.
Laughing as he drew Legacy, the fabled broadsword, thus would the Shadowlord, muscles corded with strength, ready himself, weapon held diagonally before him.
"There is no secret that cannot be retrieved..."
Eyes flashed.
"Come die, father."

Leon kept silent as the darkness rippled across his body like electrified plasma. And though it was the middle of the afternoon by then (it could have been later or earlier, but Leon lost track of time), the skies were black as coal. And this is where father and son would do battle. He rushed forward and stabbed at Gabriel-or Fade's chest.

Snickering as he moved to the left, his father's blade passing him quickly, Gabriel would lash out with his right hand, removing it from his blade to chop quickly at his father's back. Turning to face the man, whether or not the hit connect, the Shadowlord's eyes would narrow - battle: glorious bellum was to be unleashed here this day.
The Motosuwa Rune upon the right hand would flash a second time, this time augmenting the speed of the Shadowlord. As the events unfolding took less and less time to process, due to the first activation - he would now lose the constraint of body vs. mind, freeing himself to almost limitless capabilities.
"The irony of the power of Motosuwa... is that rather than weakening through the bloodline..."
Laughter.
"It grew stronger...
I am your son, Leon.
But even more so am I Nexol's child."

Leon turned into smoke and then reformed, sitting casually on the roof of a shrine to a minor deity "The irony of the power of the Motosuwa...is that you cant tap into nearly as much as I can"
In a single instant, the last six remaining barriers fell from Leon, and his seraphic wings burst from his back; they were as white as fresh snow as was the now tamer hair on his head. The light that he generated lit up the area, pierced through the darkness and threw the shadows off balance. "There is nothing funnier, " he said smiling lightly, "Than the thought of your powers ever matching mine. The secret dies with me. And so do you."

Laughing defiantly at his father's tricks, well known to Fade by this point in his life - the Shadowlord would simply begin to walk a measured step forward, eyes locking onto the shrine. He would, of course, not underestimate his father - otherwise the man's prophecy would no doubt be fulfilled. Instead, his own techniques would be advanced far beyond the musings of this decrepit fool. Gabriel had the advantage of the Breath, a power which his father could not tap upon his side, along with the arsenal of sheer destruction which he as of yet still carried upon his form.
"And will this become another planar contest, as I bested you in before?"
Smirking, the beast would shake its head.
"No... you are not stupid enough to attempt such a thing."
The Motosuwa Rune flashed a third time, shadowsteel hand still wrapped about the hilt of Legacy, which had yet to be used within this contest. Augmented would be agility, giving the Shadowlord the maneuverability of a well-trained acrobat. The result would be nothing less than melee perfection, a nigh unconquerable foe both upon the ground and in the air.
Sudden burst of motion - the Shadowlord racing up the side of the building.
"Enough talk of death! I yearn for apocalypse."

Leon's form rolled back from the edge and he continued the invert until he was perfectly balanced on three fingers. From there, he pushed off and landed before timing his strike. As the Shadowlord-Possessed Fade came up the side, Leon rushed in with a surgical stab aimed for his shoulder.

The Shadowlord was no novice to combat - as he ran up the side of the shrine, Legacy would be placed into a defensive position, only needing to be raised from what he had figured would be a low block to a high block. Due to the nature of his augments to speed and agility, such movement would be nearly effortless, a grin displayed brazenly upon his face. Growling slightly, the man's shoulder would be lowered beneath each blade, shoved forth roughly against his opponent's chest --
though his opponent would not realize it.
The fourth Motosuwan charm would be that of a time paradox, making the differentiation between what Fade did and what Leon perceived his son to be doing no less than ten seconds -- thus would Leon assume his strike had connected, rather than blocked. The illusion would be flawless, the defeat of the father nearly imminent.
Simply darting past the man that was Leon, Fade twirled his broadsword within his hands, positioning the blade to point directly at his father's back. Seven seconds before any movement would be caught by Leon's eye.
The time was now.

Leon felt his blade hit air, and he did not see anything, but unlike his son, he was the original. True, he lost the fight, but his trump came just as expected...Leon laughed. --- As Fade's sword pointed at Leon's back like the sting of an insect, Patrick smiled. The man, so absorbed in his fight, did not notice him. "That is quite enough, Gabriel Matthew Virgil Motosuwa." The man created a powerful well of gravity that would force both men to their knees, "Neither of you are the victor of this petty power struggle. I am."

What masterful irony, that this man would show himself in such a foolish manner! The magic within the area electrified, this gravimancer revealing himself in a way which most certainly played into Fade's favor. Laughing raucously even as he was forced to his knees, thus would the eyes of the Shadowlord flash with victory.
The fifth flash of the Motosuwan Rune was the ability which would lay waste to this intruder -
"Leon's... life... belongs... to me!"
Energy Theft.
The hold of the gravity well upon the Shadowlord would cease, as well as the hold of the gravity well upon Leon, as the energy used to manipulate each was suddenly channeled into Fade's body, allowing him even more accessory to the power which lay within. Spinning suddenly, the Eye would send a wickedly fast punch toward Patrick's chest, fist streaking with energy. This energy theft would continue unless something disrupted the flow of the Motosuwan charges, a feat which would need to disrupt the very source of the Motosuwan power.

"Hahahaha! Your pathetic seal is based off of the seal that was used to create this world.."
And he awakens...
"*I* Created everything!" The Motosuwa seal was powerful, but the one who was known as Patrick invoked something greater, "You attack the supreme god!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You are stupider than your father is!" The seal of Creation appeared red on the black armour as Patrick lashed out and caught Fade's fist effortlessly, "Leon's life belongs to me, and though he has done much wrong, He is as a god. Submit to Creation or the other Six will come to my aid." Nahl laughed again as he twisted the world to rebuild the Fifth Barrier, cutting both Leon and Fade from that and any higher power of the seal.

"I was wondering if anyone in this world had any fight in them..."
The eyes of the Shadowlord would flash, black orbs glinting solemnly as his fist was caught, the Motosuwan Rune doused without a thought by this man. Growling beneath his breath, thus would the Shadowlord call upon his other abilities - it was his right hand that had been caught, made of shadowsteel - a Makkronic element, not of this world. Flexing outward, thus would the nigh unstoppable metal force this man's grip off of him, his left hand diving into his boot then for a small knife, jeweled at the tip.
All of Fade's weapons had been obtained within the bounds of Makkron, and as such, could not be held back by the might of a creator god of a different world. As Tavis streaked upwards from less than three feet away, Gabriel's eyes flashed, the antimagic knife threatening to silence any potential offense from this most foolish of men.
"You believe yourself to be a God....
when in reality you are merely a pretender."
