"We didn't want you to see the room until it was done. We built a cleaning robot, and we didn't want you to think we were slacking off or anything..." She explained, though the real reason was to hide all the chemicals they were carrying.

"Oh, I see" Damien said and stopped frowning. "Well, that was good of you two" he added. Damien then started sniffing the air. "Do you smell some sort of chemical smell?" he asked. It didn't smell like cleaner.

"It's probably the residue from the bomb." Vincent said. All of the chemicals the twins brought were sealed shut in containers, so it shouldn't have been them.

"Ah, I see. Well I want this smell gone. I don't want HQ smelling like this" Damien ordered. "I will be checking on you two later". With that, he was off again back to his office.

As soon as he left, the twins let out a sigh of relief before going back to cleaning. They hoped they would be able to do something with the chemicals before Damien found out about them.

Damien said in his office, resisting the urge to rub the spot where his blood was drawn. All the tests had been done and were now being flown in an armored military helicopter to Mt. Angelo.

The twins rubbed their aching arms as well, and looked up at Damien. They wondered what the blood tests were for, but didn't know if they should ask or not. More or less, they assumed poison.
"Um..." Vincent trailed off.
"W-would there really be someone outside our mother's family trying to poison us?" Valkyrie finally asked.
The priestess had gotten settled back into Mt. Angelo. Things had finally calmed down on the civilian side when she returned and made a public statement about what happened with a few witnesses. With the sudden inflow of her followers from Diethelm who were previously arrested for their religious beliefs, people were clearly siding with her that matters could be settled diplomatically with Diethelm without the need of war. The people know they achieved this in exchange for 'medical help' but she kept the details hidden. Still, many of the church leaders were not happy that things were going so smoothly for her.

Damien took a long, hard sigh through his nose and then looked at the twins. "I guess I'll have to tell what's going on. A strange type of poison has been found in the Chief General's blood stream, and this is believed to be the reason why he hasn't come out of his comatose state yet. We're making sure that no one else has been infected with this poison" he said.

"Oh..." they muttered at the same time. "Ok." they said together with a nod.
((So... Damien or Monica going to contact Shadow. I know one of them should since they both already know about the poison. xd ))
Shadow was back on her usual night out doing her job. She left a note for Dustin about Zil earlier that day, which told him Zil was alive but acting hopeless and very odd. She also told Dustin not to tell Fanny about Zil. Just thinking about it and the fact that he kissed her made the whole thing seem like some strange dream, but she knew it was real. Still, even though she couldn't get it out of her head, she didn't want to think about it.
