"She's so pretty!" Vivi said, hovering around Mala for a bit before turning to give her brother a thumb's up. "I approve!"
Van chuckled again, still wiping his eyes with a small smile. "Mala, this is Vivi...my little sister." he hoped the ghost stuff would be self-explanatory.

Mala was surprised, but considering all that they have been through in the past, her surprise wasn't extreme. "W.w..well hello. My name is Mala and it's nice to meet you." she said, keeping a soft tone to match the smile she currently held.

Vivi gave a cheery nod. "I heard about you when big brother visited our graves earlier. I wish I could've seen the wedding!"
"Sorry, I would've tried to see if you all could've gotten a day pass out of the afterlife, but I wasn't sure if there was going to be any family drama or not...." Van apologized as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Judging by the current state of the world, I highly doubt that the god of death isn't prospering unlike the other gods. I'm sure we can ask him to let your family have a day pass or something if we ask nicely." Mala said after a moment of thought. "If we're ever back in Atalus, I'm sure I can get through the rubble to search Marianne's lair for the spellbooks I would need."

"Actually the god of death is the one who assigns souls to a proper afterlife. Villains get punished and saints are rewarded through his power. Anyone that's died during the gods' decline is probably just floating around in a black void at the moment. More than that, he's the one that releases souls for whatever reason...." Van said. "....meaning I'd still have to help at least one other god before I go getting my hopes up for a family reunion."

"Well, we'll figure something out. Or I'll find some dark magic ritual to speed things along, one." Mala said, still determined to make things work. "Or at the very least, we'll find that fountain before long."

"We've already come this far, we should find the fountain before anything else." Van said before kneeling down in front of Vivi. "Since you already heard about me losing all my power, you know I need to get it back or my age will catch up with me. I need to leave again to fix that, but I promise I'll come back as soon as possible, okay? Will you still be here, or do you have to move on now?" he asked.
"It's okay, I understand." Vivi said with a nod. "Technically I think I can go ahead any time I want now....But I just got to see you again, I don't wanna go just yet!"
Van chuckled a bit as he stood back up. "Alright, we can talk more about other plans once we get back, so don't let any exorcists put you to rest any time soon." he said giving her a kiss on her head, doing it just before his lips would have gone through her.

"Want to see if we can convince the twins to stay here for a little bit while we go search for the fountain?" Mala asked Van softly, not sure if Vivi - or the house - should be left alone now.

"I don't know, knowing them they might not like being forced to housesit while we're gone...." Van muttered with a sigh. In all honesty, he was emotionally exhausted now and didn't want to think about anything for a while.
"Oh, please don't worry about me!" Vivi said. "Me and the house have lasted this long already, I doubt a few more months will make any difference."

Mala nodded slightly. "Good. We will return and fix this place up, I promise." she said with a smile to Vivi before looking back over at Van. "Honey? Would you like a massage? You look tense..." she offered with a gentle tone.

"Once we get to the inn, yeah..." Van said as they left the house. "It's been a long day, I'm just emotionally exhausted is all." he said, but in a cheery if not weary tone.

"I understand. You've gone through alot today." Mala said, kissing Van on the cheek afterwards. She held the flowers carefully, making sure not to crush or drop any of them.

"I love you, and thanks." Van said softly, giving her a kiss on the cheek before they found the inn.((And as a prospective magi of your new RP whose name escapes me, I was hoping to run a pic approval by you first? I want to make a magi, but this is the only pic I've really found that I like. 95% of girls with any silver/white hair don't look the part, and then maybe 4% of the remaining pics don't have the proper eye color or have cat ears or other not humanoid traits, so I didn't know if that would work due to red eyes instead of icy blue. >.<))

{It's great, I understand if you can't find anything else that fits for you. ^.^ I have that problem all the time.}
Mala thought for a moment and then asked, "Van? Should we leave Anise with the twins, or will she be staying with us tonight?"

"I don't know....She's barely a few months old, it's probably better to keep her with us..." Van said looking down at the baby in his arms. "As much as I'd like the restful sleep, Kai and Larai have zero experience with a baby, and I know you have a tendency to get worried if you don't know exactly how the baby is."
