My "lovelife" is far from simple, and very ... disappointing. A lot of my friends are super unhappy, because it's christmas, and they're alone. Truth is, most of the people I know, including myself, are alone this christmas, and have been alone for a while. I only mean "alone" in the sense of no intimate relationships involving more than a casual hug and words of encouragement. The boy I'm in love with, and have been in love with for a little over a year now isn't interested in dating me, or going past the friends stage. We dated once, and we had a few issues that have since been resolved, but not to the point of being able to date again. However, I'm not letting a lack of love get me down, and ... it's easier I think, around Christmas, for me to be happy. Just take a look around at everything that happens. I mean sure there's some terrible things that happen, and people are cruel to each other... but if you can't love and be loved by a certain someone, it pays to look around at the world and feel love for humanity in general. I mean, someone needs to. Everyone's a little happier, a little more willing to give around this time, and it's worth it to note and remember that.
