The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera paused as she passed Clorogne's door. She probably should let him know how things went. She knocked, then opened the door as was her habit. "Thought you might want to know. Word is circulating around town. This is the fastest I've ever seen a rumor go, in all honesty." She told him, leaning against the door frame. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne looked up, "Ah goood... Ssay come on in here." His voice slurred and he pushed some papers off the bed and motioned for her to so next to him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera raised an eyebrow at the slurred voice. Akila's warning rang in the back of her mind. "You've been drinking a bit much. Perhaps I ought to just let you rest." She said, taking a step back. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Please, My dear?" He gave her a sweet smile, and hoped he looked sober enough. It was his only vacation, after all: might as well make the best of it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera sighed and stepped into the room. She was going to regret this she knew. Despite the nagging voice in her head that was calling her seven kinds of idiot, she moved to sit on the bed beside him. "Alright, I suppose." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera fought to not wrinkle her nose at the smell of alcohol on his breath. Yeah, he'd definitely been drinking. But there was no polite way to leave now. "I think it'll work. People are desperate for two things - A change, and a king. They think you'll fulfill both. They don't want the country to fall to civil war over the throne." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Trying to ignore his increasing nearness, Aleera answered. "I think it'll work just fine. This seems to be the best way to stop a civil war. I'd hate to see the country torn by war." She said simply. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Aleera forced herself to stay relaxed, though she wanted to push him away. She couldn't risk angering him and she had no idea how much of this he would remember tomorrow. "You were doing just fine before. I see no reason why you can't do it a second time." She told him simply.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera squeaked at the suddenly shift. So surprised was she that she almost missed what he'd said. "Brother?" She asked curiously, wondering what he was talking about. Wasn't he just pretending to be his own brother? The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera pulled back slightly, putting her hand on Clorogne's cheek to make him look up at her. "What were you saying about your brother? You have a brother?" She asked, trying to lead him back to what she wanted to know. She held her breath as she waited for an answer. This could be her biggest discovery since coming to the castle....... The tiger that should be....isn't....
