"Seems someone was too busy talking..." Amaya muttered as she watched Rena now have to deal with two monsters.

"So you'd say she's too sure of herself?" Sikes asked, though he didn't look at Amaya either.

"I'd say she doesn't know what's going on fully yet." Amaya replied.

Val's snake landed on a nearby stool, looking around for its target. Valliex nodding," Later ... training first.." Not actually hearing him yet would say the same thing if she did. She scooted her snake away signaling it to leave. The snake hissing as it slithered out of the room. Val resuming their original battle as she came at him with the bar aimed towards his head. Really planning for Shades to fight afterwords.

( Dude I sent you a message about the Mon - .- If you read it you would know that's she lost so she wouldn't be knocking on the correct door if she was lost. Ya know? I thought it would be fun if she just randomly showed up and some owner thought she was theirs but she was Val's so ya know, bit more drama just to make things more fun

And btw Maya, promise you the profile today k?)

" Uhmm..hello." She replied back, giving a small wave. Her eyes looking at her, switching colors as they went a bright green. And as quick as her eyes changed they returned to their original color. "Hehe... you're nice, but don't worry they nor I would hate you. I hope we become friends." The Mon said with a grin, revealing slightly her ability to her.  

[Fabled Heartbreak]

Rena ran into a more open area and turned quick to see her opponents were quicker than she had realized. One caught her by the throat as she turned and slammed her into the ground to make an opening for his partner. When the other came in for the finish she grabbed the first mutate's wrist and threw him in the way. She couldn't help but cringe as she heard the mutate's spine snap. "One down I suppose." She muttered as the last mutate turned to face her then disappeared, just before she was flung like a rag-doll into the wall. "That stung a lot." she said as she got up and looked around for her camouflaged opponent to no avail. Closing her eyes, she listened for her opposition's approach. Rena heard an approaching figure from her right and waited until the sounds of it's footsteps were extremely close before spinning in an attempt to kick the invisible target. To her relief she was correct. Her opponent was slammed forcefully head first into the wall thanks to her inhuman strength and was rendered unconscious.
What added to her confusion on the situation was when guards came to escort Rena out of the arena and clean up the mess. Rena's understanding of all this was that the winner of the most fights would get the cure. She had no clue just how wrong she was; no clue just how serious this was. She heard a guard tell her that her fight was 'an exceptional opening performance'. Though she had no clue what that meant.

Kierra blinked nervously at the girl,"h-how did-" Her collar beeped, and she jumped a bit in shock. where are you?! There are only two more fights before yours! get down here now!"Kierra looked at the girl,"I'm sorry. I have to go fight. I'm really sorry." She cautiously walked past the girl, closing the door behind her and ran off to go down to the arena and await her fight.

The Mon watched her go, waving softly. Wait, they said my owner was a female....wrong house... She realized, rubbing her head. I always get lost, jeez... She added, sulking her shoulders. Heck, even where she came from she'd get lost. When playing hide and seek none found her and she never found any one of them...not that anyone played with her anyways. She gave a simple shrug, sitting on the ground. You could just use one of my bots. Another voice reminded her, smiling once more she nodded. "That's right!" She cheered, jumping up. Her hand reaching into her pocket to pull out one small ball. The ball seemingly nothing, yet as she rolled it in her hand and threw it into the air that ball transformed into a medium sized robot. the robot whizzing around as its mechanical wings took it, scanning the Mon's collar. The scan making her giggle innocently,"It tickles...heh, thanks, Sebby." She said, looking up at the bot. The 'bot' suddenly beeping before whizzing off ahead of her now leading her the right way. "Whoa, hang on--wait up!" She said, having to run to catch up to the little thing.

(It's not that I didn't read it, I really did, I was just a little confused that's all. I didn't know cause when I checked to see if the character was up, she wasn't. My mistake. Both for the comment and the message.)

Shades focused more and his hands changed to what he prefered the use the most out of his aresenal of weapons, katanas. The two swords were different than the regular blade though. One was a crimson red, matching the color of his demon eyes. The other was a jet black, sleek and deadly. He took focus on the bar aimed for his head. Almost a second before it could make contact, the blades came up to defend, a smirk on Shade's face. He was quiet, not being reckless like before. He was only reckless when he wanted to have fun. Right now, he needed to show he was worth something to his master and could actually fight.

Kierra watched the other two fights, then meekly walked down to face her oponent. She held her arms together and to her chest in a defensive/protective manor as she walked to the center. She was met by a guy, about a head taller than her and with ocean blue skin. Kierra looked aroundthe arena and noticed four wooden buckets in a row behind him. "I was told to end this quickly,"he said. Kierra looked up at him, shocked, but what he said next made her begin to shake fearfully."I'll probably just end up drowning you. At least until you faint or something."Kierra looked up at him as if she was about to cry.

The alarm sounded for them to begin fighting and she took a step beckwards, her body still shaking. The buckets behind the other monster began to leak out water, and it was gthering and moving towards them. Kierra looked at the boy, then at the water. He was controlling it. He was serious! He was going to drown her! She quickly turned to try to outrun the water that was rapidly gaining on her.

Up in the stands, Jabir was watching, smirking the entire time. He had purposefully set this match up to see what would happen if she were to alost die. And if things got too bad, he always had his backup plan.

Kierra kept running until she saw the terrain change. Giant holes opened up in the walls and water began to pour out."Now, she's done for. This'll end sooner than I thought."

The other monster created a giant pillar of water wich filled the fighting area. The pllar reched up to the cieling. Gills grew from his neck as he watched Kierra panick. She was looking around frantically, trying to find some way to breath.

Jabir watched from his seat. He took out the control for Kierras collar and pressed the button to shock her. Kierra screamed in pain as the electricity ran through her body. It in turn shocked the other monster, the water conducting the elecritcity. He lost control of the water and it drained out. Both he and Kierra fell to the ground. The monster got up weakly and looked at Kierra who was panting heavily, looking up at him worridly. He gathers some water and engulfed her in a sphere of water. Kierra screamed as her collar shocked her again. This time, she lost control of her own powers and her body burt into flames, quickly evaporating the water around her. The other moster growled and threw a wave of water at her which just evaporated once it touched the still screaming girl's skin. Kierra curled up in pain as her collar continued to shock her. The flames around her grew hotter and started to fill the arena.

The other monster was soon surrounded by fire and there was no water to be found. He screamed as the flames burned his skin. Jabir let off the button and The fire disappeared as Kierra calmed down, panting heavily. She was still on fire, but nothing else was, the flames around the other monster having died down as well. He dropped to the ground, his body singed. Kierra was annoucned the winnder and was taken from the arena as the boy was taken to the infirmary.

Jabir smirked,"Well, now that I know what she's cpable of, this should prove to be very interesting."Kierra weakly walked to her house, having no injuries from the fight.

"There, you saw some competition, I gave my opinion, can I go now?" Amaya asked Sikes dryly, disappearing the moment he nodded his head. She went off to the clinic first and ended up getting a sling and several new bandages.

When she got home, Amaya was exhausted but she found Calista and Adrian coloring in the common room. "Hey. Was she alright for you?" Amaya asked as she walked up to the two.

"Mommy! Adrian and I had a fun time!" Calista giggled as she ran over and hugged her mother's legs.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Like you even need to ask." Adrian said with a smile as he walked over, having completely forgotten about the marshmallows left on his horns after dessert. "Trust me, if there's ever a problem you'll be the first to know."  

[Maya Freana]

"Thanks." Amaya said as she picked up Calista with her own arm and then seemed to notice Adrian's decorated horns, raising her eyebrows. "So uhhh, what's that about?" She asked.

"Huh?" Adrian turned his eyes upwards before remembering the 'mallows. "I'm the Marshmallow Demon." he stated as if it were an obvious fact. "I had to give up my soul for it, but it had to be done. The Dessert Kingdom staged an uprising. It was a vicious war of sugar the likes of which you've never seen. We almost lost Smith. But we managed to claim victory, and their fallen brethren were quite delicious." he said, telling the tale of fantasy with a perfectly straight face all the while.

As smirk rose to Amaya's lips and she let out a small chuckle, then just shook her head. "How interesting. Oh well. Thanks for watching Calista for me." She said, giving Adrian a small peck on the cheek before she took Calista off to get ready for bed.
