It was weeks later when the headquarters got an unexpected call. It was one of the doctors from Mt. Angelo trying to get a hold of Damien. The call was transferred to Damien's office, and his phone began to ring.

Damien was working when his phone rang. "This is Damien Blackrose. Who is this?" he answered, making sure to growl at his secretary for not giving a message that an incoming call was coming to him and who it was.

"This is Dr. White from Mt. Angelo. We've examined all of the blood samples. 85% of the samples were poisoned. With the exception of two, all of those poisoned were poisoned using the same chemical. We've also managed to synthesize a cure. Also, you are part of the 15% who wasn't poisoned." the doctor said. "My lady, the Grand Priestess, would like to know when you want her to bring the full report and cures."

"Well, as soon as she can would be best. The quicker everyone can receive the antidote, the better. Did the Grand Priestess get infected herself?" Damien replied.

"... what? Oh, yes. There was a small trace of it, but she built up an immunity to slow poisons as a child, so it was easily cured." the doctor replied. "We'll, I'll relay the message to her."

A few minutes later, the secretary rung in. "Absolute Leader Damien." The secretary said with her sexy voice. "I have a call on line one from a 'Miss Lianne of Mt. Angelo'."

Monica for the past few weeks had been brutally torturing the executives of the company that made the poisons, even finding out that she was deliberately poisoned as well. She left the concentration camp that early morning and headed back to her office. That was when her troops had decrypted some files on a company computer. She listened on her earpiece intently when her eyes widened with shock before saying, "Is that all?" When her subordinate replied in the affirmative, she heaved a great sigh. "So we've made enemies with the rest of the world now, huh?", she said quietly to herself as she was driven back to HQ. It seems the ones who hired the company was not within the Diethelm continent... But from abroad.
Kyrell sat quietly by Saiyu's bedside, hoping she would wake up. He held up her hand, observing the wounds and scars on her arm, from the days of hardship and suffering in the concentration camp. He sighed.

Lianne's invitations were already sent out to various countries the week before, including Diethelm. She still wished to avoid Damien as much as possible, but considering they were neighbors, she had little to no choice in the matter. She felt as though this would at least alleviate some of the tension in the world. Or at least, that was the hope. As for now, she waited patiently on the phone, waiting for Damien to pick up the line.

Damien picked up the phone and answered. "Hello Grand Priestess. What news have you for me today? I'm hoping for some good ones" he said into the phone.

"Yes, Mr. Blackrose. I have your cures. I was asked to deliver them as soon as possible, but um... you see, there is a small problem. We both have a conference that we both can't afford to miss, and I'm very busy. In fact, about half of the ambassadors have already arrived. They like to stay a little while when it's such a long distance to travel. And since you gave me your word, you can pick them up as soon as the conference has been settled." She said sweetly. "After all, the conference is the day after tomorrow."

"I see" Damien said, narrowing his eyes, though he knew Lianne couldn't see him. "Is this the conference you asked me to attend the last time you were here?" he asked.

"Yes." She replied. "That is what we agreed upon, is it not? You can bring an ambassador if you like, if you trust them with something of this importance, but a deal is a deal. I've kept my end of the bargain, so I expect you'll keep yours."
