spaceCallum approached the train station's landing with a stern expression, one he coaxed to being less intimidating as he recalled his daughter's words the year before. Kiera was a child, but that didn't mean she wasn't right sometimes, particularly about how he would be perceived by people her age. He didn't want to frighten the first years, considering he had to make sure they trusted him enough to leave the station and head to the school with him. When Kiki had been a first year, he'd had her presence to help him out, namely by being sweet and obnoxious enough to temper his more formidable countenance. He relaxed his shoulders, and attempted to smile, managing what was at the very least a small, neutral tilt of his lips, as opposed to his normal glower. Figuring that was the best he would be able to manage (he'd never been particularly good at smiling when there wasn't something to make him do so), he sighed, then called out, "First year students! Make your way to me," and then, after a slight pause, tacked the word, "Please," onto the end of it. He needed to be less demanding. That would make him less scary... he hoped.
spaceAs the young children gathered around him, he started to cross his arms, stopped, went to place his fists on his hips, stopped that as well. Finally, he put his hands behind his back, grasping one wrist with the opposite hand. Posture was important, after all. "First years, welcome to Hogsmeade Village! My name is Callum Murdoch, and I will be escorting you to Hogwarts Castle. Please remain close to me at all times, do not deviate from the path we walk together. Getting lost would be quite unpleasant, both for you and for me, so I'd like to avoid it at all costs." Once he was fairly certain that he had all the first years in tow, he gestured for them to follow, and then began making his way to the lake.

Brandon hopped off the train and started looking for his friends. He hadn't seen any of them at the station, but that was because he had to run to the train since his dad dropped him off late and all of the cabins seemed to be full. He'd managed to find one that wasn't, but that didn't leave much for him to do besides read. At least he had his agama with him to keep him company. Though, Frilly wasn't the best conversationalist. He sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets after putting Frilly in one of his shirt pockets. He wasn't going to leave the poor guy alone right now. He had just gotten over whatever bug he'd had over the summer, and Brandon was still worried that Frilly wasn't fully up to being moved by strangers. Besides, it gave him an excuse to bring him up to the castle himself. He hadn't heard much from his friends over the summer. They had probably been busy or something. He just hoped they were all okay.

spaceColin departed the train quickly, thinking that it still wasn't quick enough, offering a mumbled and impossible to understand explanation that he needed some space after the train ride. It wasn't entirely a lie; spending a whole day in the company of others was very exhausting for him. But, Nike and Di weren't particularly hard people to be around. If it'd just been the two girls, he might've been fine. But, it wasn't just the two girls. He'd been elated when Di had sought him out on the way onto the train, if a bit surprised. But, Mordred had been right behind her, and he was now more convinced than ever that the older boy didn't like him, not one little bit. Being stuck in the compartment with the others, all day, and having to choose between fighting his way into the conversation he'd been shoved out of, or sitting in awkward silence, left him feeling more depressed than he'd already been. Honestly, he didn't need space so much as he needed to feel like someone might actually be happy to see him. Not that he doubted Di had been, not really, but she didn't seem to care that Mordred was being a jerk to him, either, which left Colin feeling very confused. If she wanted to sit with him, they were friends, except if they were friends, wouldn't she have cared?
spaceSighing in confusion, he half-ran in the direction of the carriages, finally noticing Brandon in the crowd. He was relieved for a moment, then worried; what if the Gryffindor boy didn't want to talk to him, either? But that was ridiculous, because of all his friends, Brandon was the only one who didn't seem to have someone else he liked more than Colin. Though, the blonde knew he might just think that because he personally considered Brandon his best friend out of everyone... which he did mostly because he didn't think Brandon liked his other friends more than him... It was very confusing. He swallowed hard, matching the taller boy's pace as he settled into a walk next to him. "Um, Brandon, hey," he said apprehensively. "Um, wanna get a carriage?" He really hoped Brandon would want to ride with him. At the very least, it meant he was safe from having to sit with three strangers. Two strangers, he could probably handle, but if he were the awkward random kid sitting with three kids who were all friends, chatting away and ignoring him, he thought he might lose his mind.

Leon got off the train, mood worse than ever. Caty hadn't really been in any kind of mood to talk, which was fine usually for him, but actually made him worry considering she was usually upbeat and chipper. Much like that bloody Borson kid that made it his personal mission to make Leon a part of his family. Right now, she barely had enough energy to mutter and he could have sworn she went to sleep during the train ride. He wasn't an expert or something, but there was certainly something wrong, especially since he was well aware of one of her recreational habits.
Then there was Aimee, who was seeing this Derrick guy who kept interrupting Leon during the train ride and redirecting Aimee's attention to Derrick instead. The guy apparently didn't seem to even want Leon there at all, and seemed insistent on glaring at the blond. Sadly, the glaring phased Leon much less than the way he was apparently acting with Aimee. Leon had pointedly cleared his throat loudly on one memorable occasion during the ride when Derrick saw fit to stick his tongue down Aimee's throat to distract her from her friends. Which, Leon might not have been one of them, but he knew damn well that Caty was, and Caty he thought needed some sort of encouragement to get her out of her funk.
Getting out of that compartment had been like a breath of fresh air, but he was more guiding Caty off the train and figured that she might not be up for actually going to the feast and instead going to bed. At least that's what it looked like to Leon. As for Derrick, he was suddenly going to find a very sharp, very annoying thorn in his side when Leon decided that he didn't like the idea of Aimee being anywhere near that git. He looked over at Caty and glared at the back of Derrick's head as he saw Aimee be escorted off the train and then hustled to a carriage. "Ya feelin' up ta goin' ta th' feas', or ya wanna say bugger i' all an' jus' skip i' this year?" Leon was not going to admit to feeling concern for either girl. He refused. He however was going to admit to feeling a low simmering hatred for Aimee's boyfriend though.

spaceJasmine had spent most of the train ride doing what she insisted qualified as conducting experiments. Maybe they weren't the most noble of experiments, but they were experiments nonetheless. Unfortunately, results were inconclusive, at least to her mind. Sure, Gid had seemed mildly flustered, but he was a pretty easily-flustered kind of guy to begin with. Plus, she hadn't exactly been being subtle, she'd admit. So, equal odds that he fancied her, too, or he'd just been incredibly uncomfortable. She didn't think it was the second one, but she couldn't be totally positive. Further testing would be necessary.
spaceOn that note, she very patiently waited for her friend to follow behind her and get off the train, standing as close as she thought she could without impeding his ability to get around easily. This would be easier, she thought, if she could link arms with him or something. Oh, well. "Carriage? Or do you want to find Rhys? Shouldn't be too hard, finding that white hair in the crowd. Even if he's a bit on the shorter side, that's still a dead giveaway, I figure." She wasn't going to be completely clingy, after all. Especially since Gid would probably sit at their house table, therefore with her. She didn't care if he spent time with his other friends. It wasn't like she didn't have plenty others of her own. Speaking of, maybe she should tryy finding Lynn... who would be with Cyrus, no doubt, but she'd be happy to shove herself right into the middle of that mess. Something about that kid rubbed her the wrong way, and she did not like her bestie dating him. Not even a little.

'Cuz it's a new day, we're gonna go far Knuckle down, trim and shake off the dead weight You know what they say You can't hide from your ghosts мυɢɢℓєвσяиє ▽ sιиɢℓє ▽ υиcσиғιиє∂ ⊰Gia had to have had the absolute weirdest summer in her entire existence. And this included going to bible camp, the time she accidentally got a bullet train to Barcelona, and of course the fateful summer she notice that she was a card carrying member of the supernatural. She was still waiting for the laminated card but whatever. Fiona had come by during the start of it after months, almost a year really, of ignoring her father not for reconciliation but because she was pregnant. Actually visibly pregnant not hiding a hot water bottle underneath her shirt and passing it off as a small second trimester baby. She had still been a bit miffed with the woman, after finally admitting that she could be good for her forever single father she had gone and pulled a stunt like that. The redhead should've been lucky that had she not been shocked by her physical state and the fact that she was on her fire department's watch list she would've tried out her modified taser. It still zonked out in magic saturated areas such as Diagon and she supposed Hogwarts but she managed to get two good charges through it before it died so, progress.
Still though, learning that she would be, and no is, an older sibling was rather mindboggling. And she watched shows where things literally popped out of minds but this still leveled her for a bit. Gia had never really been around babies or even little children for that matter. The closest she got were the kids at the last wedding she had been invited to and to be frank, the only one she could stand was the obviously Scottish one in the Alice cosplay. And she was pretty sure the only reason the girl even liked her was because of her steampunk accessories and because she was a friend of Carver. And getting onto the subject of that ray of sunshine, she was so completely over this crush emotion whatever thing that was going on. It just needed to stop. Especially if it meant that her traitorous heart would jump into her throat every time he did his stupid not-a-real-smile-but-a-smirk smirk thing which he did all. The ********. Time. She must be a ******** sadist because she kept putting herself in situations where she'd be alone with him, like that morning. She had arrived late to the station because she had overslept and learned through word of mouth that Lori was a prefect and therefor wouldn't be with her and Carver (who was also running a bit behind schedule, surprise surprise) leaving the two alone in a compartment for hours on end. God, it was a good thing they were both jaded sarcastic ******** or it would've gotten awkward quick.
Thankfully though they arrived to the station without much incident and she only left to change into her uniform at the last minute then departed from the train along with the other hordes of students. Gia tried to spot her best friend in the crowd but even with the added height boost of her heels she was still having a hard time. And Jesus Christ did the average height of eleven year old's diminish or was the tail end of her generation just calcium deficient because ******** these kids were short. "God were we this small during our first year? I can't really remember, I was too busy still being pissed that the no wifi thing wasn't a joke." the Italian asked her friend with a slight smirk.⊱

⇒Fσυятн Yεαя Gячғғıпɔσя⇐ Gid had spent the duration of the train ride in varying states of awkward. Was Jazzy always this snuggly on the train? His cheeks seemed permanently blushed, and his emotions seemed a bit befuddled. When they made it to Hogsmeade, he said goodbye to Scoots and gave her a few extra treats, knowing the house elves would get her to his bedroom gently. Besides, she was a heavy little thing. He carefully adjusted his braces and grabbed his crutches, then followed Jazzy to the exit of the train. When he managed to hop onto the platform, he moved closer to the girl, taking in the sights as he did each year. "Sure, we can get a carriage. They'll all fill up soon anyway. Besides, you know how good at hiding Rhys is, we'll likely never find him in this crowd." He grinned, lifting the hand closer to her girl. Calmly, he rested a hand on her shoulder, before they decided to get moving. Honestly, his butt was still a bit numb from the extended sitting. His hope in holding her was to give himself time to shake off the numbness. After he felt he was able, Gid removed his hand and grabbed his crutch once more. "After you, Jazzy? To the carriages, I mean. Or wherever." He grinned brightly, taking a step forward, since he knew he was the slower of the two. I sat alone, in bed till the morning I'm crying, "They're coming for me" And I tried to hold these secrets inside me My mind's like a deadly disease αɢє 13 | αםvєитυяєя | sℓчтнєяιи тнιяם чєαя ☆º°”˜`”°º☆ ★º°”˜`”°º★ ﻬஐ Caty tried to smother her yawn as she was jostled around by the throngs of people trying to keep up with Leon. She would've tried to go after Aimee but even the limited interaction she spent with Derrick she could tell she wouldn't be quite welcome yet. Had she been in her right frame of mind she would've shouldered her way between them regardless to spend time with her best friend, manners damn all. But she didn't even have the energy to be irritated, she just felt what she usually did: numb. It was odd, she used her knives in order to achieve this sort of nirvana any other given day but now that she could do it at random it just felt wrong. And then there was the damn tiredness! It was like, no matter how long she slept or how many naps she took she always felt drained after ten steps, sometimes less. Even after her nap on the train ride here, the effort it took for her to change into her uniform and step out into the station made her feel as if she had just run an entire marathon backwards on her hands. And cold. No matter how many jackets or sweaters she wore she always felt this deep bone chill that she couldn't quite shake. Even now beneath her sweater and Slytherin cardigan she was still shivering and pulling the black and green garment tighter around her small frame. Caty blinked and turned as Leon asked if she wanted to skip the feast entirely so she could go and sleep and blinked again when that meant to her that she had caught up to him. Or had they not moved? She really couldn't remember..."No, i's ok, I'll make it. 'Cides, I don't even know the password yet." The girl tried for her usual bubbly grin but it fell a bit flat to just a strained tilt fo her lips. In all honesty all she wanted was to curl up on the closest surface and wish away the noise and color of the world but she was trying to stay as normal as possible. If she acted normal then she'd be normal and then this wouldn't happen again. That was a saying right? "We should go an' find a carriage before they're all taken." Caty suggested shivering once again before completely buttoning up her cardigan.ஐﻬ
And all the kids cried out, "Please stop, you're scaring me" I can't help this awful energy God damn right, you should be scared of me Who is in control?

What the hell is wrong with me? My mom and dad weren't perfect, But still you don't hear no crying a** bitching from me, Like there seems to be on everybody's CD
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁Where am I? Station Who am I with? Gia What am I doing? Talking, duh. What am I thinking? (thoughts) What am I wearing? Fifth Year Uniform▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Carver was just glad. So, so glad. Glad that he hadn't been chosen for prefect, glad that he was going to school because for the first time in his life he was sick of the orphanage, just glad in general. He was convinced that every single toddler in the place had decided that his school books were chew toys, and was eternally grateful that at least they couldn't read yet and therefore couldn't understand what was in those books. He'd hate to be the one to explain to a ministry official why the heck some three year old was suddenly uber-excited about flying brooms and unicorns and wands and... Carver gave himself a mental shake. No, he didn't need to remind himself about the many, many ways the Statute of Secrecy could be breached by a toddler. It wasn't what normal people had to deal with. They never had to deal with literally a dozen kids going in and out of your room at any given time pestering you because you hadn't aged out of the system yet. And that was what he was basically waiting on. Aging out. After all, he knew for a fact that had he been at all cooperative when he was younger, he might have had a chance of being adopted, but now? Nope, that flew out the window the moment he passed four feet in height.
As it was, he'd run late to the train because he had to collect every single quill, book, and scrap of parchment from the other kids that he could find because someone had broken into his trunk for the third time that summer, and no amount of scowling had made them stop. Then he'd had to run the barrier and hope no one was on the other side for him to crash into, and then got onto the train right as it was pulling out of the station. The only saving grace was that Gia had also been running late, and thankfully they had been able to find a compartment to themselves since Lori had been up at the prefect cabin. Which, that wouldn't have been all that bad, had he not been, yet again, reminded forcefully that she was a girl and therefore when she left to go change he'd taken that time to remind himself rather forcefully that the last time he'd even shown any interest, he'd been berated for being a member of the male gender.
Thankfully it was a lot easier when there weren't just him and Gia around, and when he got off the train, he just looked over and shook his head, when she commented about the heights of the first years. He could have sworn they weren't that short when they were younger, but he'd also been living with kids of various ages and sizes and swore they just kept multiplying. He looked them over and then glanced back. "I think I was more disappointed that there weren't any places to skate around the school. Though, you are right. Maybe there's some kind of curse on the school, and the kids all happen to get smaller with each new class?" He didn't know. Hell, with magic, it was entirely plausible, even if it wasn't exactly truthful, and he knew it.

Saio Mio Ukida First Year Unsorted Adopted ☼ Half-blood Location : Hogwarts Express → Hogsmeade Station
Saio was delighted that the two of them would join the club together. It seemed like everything was falling into place. She made a friend and one who had similar interests to her own it seemed. They were going to be the best of friends, she could feel it. Getting into houses, Saio smiled brightly. It sounded like there was a trend in the family. “My aunt was in Hufflepuff too.” She answered happily. “I wonder if they knew each other.” She thought out loud.
Saio had the best first train ride ever with Mackenzie. She couldn’t have found a better traveling buddy. It was nothing but fun the entire time. Time flew by and before she knew it they had arrived at Hogsmeade station. Saio gently put Naown back in his carrier before grabbing her things. Sticking with Mackenzie, she was sure they’d be good so long as they stuck together.
Getting off the train, Saio looked around the station. “I’ve never been here before.” She said out loud. It was only a moment later that a man called the first years’ attention. Staying close to Mackenzie, Saio slowly made her way over to Mister Murdoch. Heeding his words she didn’t want to get lost on her first night. She certainly didn’t want to lose Kenzie either. No, she’d stick close to the both of them for sure.

Avian blinked at Sera behind his glasses, as that was something he didn't expect to hear. Well, that was quite a relief, he would assume, otherwise he did not need someone to give him another round of a headache for this year. But she has a point though, maybe Avian would hate her more and more when they reached seventeen and tied a knot. And then, he felt like his grandfather would expect him to have an heir already at the same age, which already sounded desperate. Merlin though, his father was around twenty-two when Avian was born. Okay, well, his cousin Gypsy did gave birth to Jack near that age, too, didn't change the fact that expecting a baby at that age was kind of scary and rushed. "That's kind of a relief I guess, you not hating me, I mean" He didn't look at her though, he was looking at the ring his father gave to him with distaste. He didn't know why, it was just a ring with an eagle on it, and his name literally means "bird", he just couldn't point a finger on it.
Finally, he looked up to Sera and silently listened to her (well, their) plan in breaking the marriage, as well as assuming that his two beloved cousins were disowned. "No, they're not disowned." Avian corrected her, "While yes, Gypsy and Jer did annoy the hell out of my grandparents, my grandfather didn't disown her and Echo thinking it was scandalous. Besides, if he did have the guts to break his reputation by disowning 'unworthy kids'--- It should be noted that he did the air quotes with his two fingers in that last part, "-- He could have disowned by uncle along time ago, but he didn't," He sighed when Sera continued to talk about her reputation and her family values, good for her despite the bad history of the Averys, but goodness gracious she sounded like his sister Nike, "Well, um, I'm trying to figure out how to break the ring without... you know, ruining your ambitions in the Ministry and all. I mean, I respect your obligations and all. It's kind of hard, I think,
He fell silent as if he had a lot of thing swirling in his mind about planning and all of that, he's a Ravenclaw and he should come up with a plan by now. It took long enough that the train stopped, but he was pretty sure the conversation was not over. Stepping out of the train, he turned to Sera and added, "Well, I think the closest and probably the dumbest plan I can come up with was that we should find ourselves our own suitor, y'know? Like, you can find a suitor better than me, definitely anyone who wore Slytherin robes." Facepalming, he felt like that plan sounded desperate as well, "I'm pretty sure you have a better plan than mine, yes? You're Slytherin and as someone who has a sister in that house, they wore cleverness on their sleeves,"

The boys and girls in the clique, the awful names that they stick You're never gonna fit in much, kid But if you're troubled and hurt, what you got under your shirt? We'll make them pay for the things that they did!
They say that teenagers scare the living sh*t out of me; They could care less as long as someone will bleed So darken your clothes, or strike a violent pose. Maybe they'll leave you alone, but not me!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ When the man Reyna assumed was a teacher called, she jumped off her seat and ran to join the group of students surrounding him. They were more subdued than what she'd expected, probably because he looks like he could snap us like twigs.
After introducing himself, he walked towards the huge lake near the castle and the students, including Reyna, followed.

Sera Maybelle Avery <5th Year> Sera nodded at Avian's words and spoke honestly, "I know I'm not the most warm of people, but there are very few, if anyone, that I can honestly say I hate. Hatred makes you weak. There are plenty of people I don't particularly care for or think badly of, but you, the worse I can say is your an artist, a musician. It's not the sort of craft that I appreciate, but it isn't the worst thing either." She ended folding her hands in her lap, hoping to clear the air about Avian's thoughts that she might hate him or have lingering dislike for him. It would be hard to work together as allies if they couldn't be honest. She had to trust him, not that she particularly liked trusting people, but there were far, far worse people to trust. If her family had found her a proper Slytherin boy, like even Cyrus, the moment she started speaking against the union he would likely of told his family. "They're not? Well that's a shame... I mean it is good for them I would think, but if they were disowned I feel like they would be more willing to help us. Or perhaps they already consider themselves disowned and would help anyways?" Sera raised a brow and then shook her head, "That plan is more a Plan G or H or even a Plan O... the one we both run away. A plan where only you run away would rank higher, but that would have problems as well. For me and for you."Sera sighed and soon the train slid to the station and Sera disembarked with Avian and listened as he explained his plan. "That might work for you, but I have grander ambitions than being some pureblood's perfect little wife. However, if you feel fine to find a a different suitor and are able to convince your family this new woman is better suited than I... After all the Avery reputation is a bit dubious at the moment. We aren't exactly the 'good' Slytherins. Of course, if you did find someone you fancied enough to marry instead of me, your family would have the concern on how to keep good relations with mine while breaking our engagement. A penalty tax of sorts I suppose, but instead of marriage arrangements perhaps we can convince our fathers of other investments. We would have to agree to stay on amicable terms of course, but I feel like that won't be too much of a challenge."------------------------------------------------------------------------ Time: 2033-2034 Location: Hogwarts Express Dressed: to conquer

He says, "Oh, baby girl, you know we're gonna be legends I'm the king and you're the queen and we will stumble through heaven If there's a light at the end, it's just the sun in your eyes I know you wanna go to heaven but you're human tonight" And I've been sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool For a while now, drowning my thoughts out with the sounds But do you feel like a young God?
Aimee had been rather excited when Caty and Leon found her on the train anyways. They were her best friends after all. Caty seemed off though and basically slept the whole ride. It made the young Slytherin worried, but she tried to write it off as Caty having just gotten up too early. That was definitely something the normally bubbly girl would do. Wake up at 4AM or something awful like that just because she was so excited about the coming school year. Leon didn't seem to like Derrick that much, but she wasn't one to take that personally, and she'd explain to Derrick later that Leon didn't like anyone much. He basically just tolerated Aimee and Caty and that was why they were friends.
Derrick had been kind of an a** the entire ride though. Continuously interrupting her conversation with her friends, and even going as far as to snog her to get her attention back on him. It had been rather rude, and put Aimee in a grumpy mood. It was like he wasn't even TRYING to be friends with her friends. He couldn't just waltz into her life and steal her away from it like he was some sort of God. When they all hopped off the train, Derrick immediately began leading her away, but she stopped dead in her tracks and made her way back over to Leon and Caty. Derrick of course followed, but the look on his face was beginning to remind her of Jamie's.... and that made her remember not so happy memories.
Instead of thinking about that, she forced a smile onto her face and wrapped an arm around Caty's waist in a hug. "Didn't get to hug you on the train, so thought I should now." She mumbled, grinning at her best friend, and then Leon too.... which only darkened the expression on Derrick's face. She did her best to ignore it. "You guys all want to get a carriage together? My cousin's daughter is starting school this year, and I can't wait to see where she's sorted. My sister's adopted sister is also getting sorted.... I have a big family I guess. But still it's exciting yeah?" She was starting to ramble and talk rather fast, because the more she talked to her friends, the angrier Derrick got. His arms were now crossed over his chest, and his right foot was tapping on the ground, as if impatiently waiting for a toddler to finish something. She was doing her best to ignore the look, but every time she glanced at him, it just reminded her of things she didn't want to think about. Things that made her scared.... The same thing that Ray's mere presence had reminded her of last year.
She didn't want to think about that right now. She was verging on panicking and she really didn't want Derrick to see that side of her yet. Preferrably never. She hadn't even wanted Caty and Leon to see it but they had and they had dealt with it fine. She tried to breathe slowly, but the memories kept verging up, and she didn't like it. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, trying to focus on herself. She was almost there, she was almost calmed down again, when an annoyed voice broke through her concentration.
"Amelia. Come on. Lets go." She flinched at the use of her full name. Only 3 people had ever called her that after being told not too. Her mother, Charles, and Jamie. All bad memories. All bad people.... right? Thats what her father had told her when he'd found out. Bad people. They were bad, not her.... but it was hard to remember that sometimes. She kept her eyes squeezed shut, her breathing most definitely verging on hyperventilating. "Amelia!" His voice was sharper this time, and she most definitely flinched visibly this time. Her eyes snapped open, and when she saw his pissed off look, she immediately looked at the ground. "S-s-sorry...." She mumbled out. She only flinched a little when he grabbed her arm and started to lead her away at least.... Her mind was slowly shutting down, and it was getting harder to think. All she could see was Jamie's face... and now Charles' too, and her mother's screaming voice, and she couldn't think. She wanted to stay with Caty and Leon... she knew that. They were safe, but she couldn't make the words come out, couldn't bring herself to stop. She wanted too though. She wanted someone to see that, someone to stop him. She didn't want to leave her safe place. Her safe people.

Habits of the lemmings die hard- And patterns of obsession go far. They have you digging ditches so you never see the stars! Now all the lessons learned get buried in the yard; And ways of the weapons bombard. Building mountains of the body bags large- Rubbernecking while collision greets your car! Aster elbowed and shoved her way through the crowd in a manner unbecoming of a newly appointed prefect, but she was pretty ******** angry, so at the moment she didn't really give a s**t or any shits at all. How in Satan's bloody hell had she been named a prefect and Pam hadn't? Pam was a saint! Not that she had anything against Zeph, who was a friend, or Mattie, who she barely knew, being made prefects, but how had she been chosen and not her best friend girlfriend?! Aster was aggressive, rude, obnoxious, fiercely competitive, had managed to get half her year in massive trouble at the age of twelve, and not at all good with children. Proudly. It was ridiculous. And to make matters worse, she still couldn't find said best friend girlfriend. Where was Pam?! Cursing her height, she made for the carriages, craning her neck at every blonde girl she passed. Follow; don't get left behind- Don't think, just do what they certify! You're that servant that never chose a side; A vassal of the modern times... And when it all blows up you duck your head and hide. You're out there searching for that silver line; But your sweat has covered up the signs.
