@Kerri: Depends entirely on what you want the laptop for. :XP:
Though, I'm always one to advocate a PC if you want it for any form of gaming.
@Pan :O Didn't actually know it was possible for a regular techie to build a laptop. Thought you needed to be employed at somewhere like Dell or HP for that. xd

EDIT: Bass: Not much, really. Internet. A writing program (Open Office is fine for me, even.) Paint. Powerpoint. Media. (Just playing music, sometimes playing with video a little, but not much.)

The Eee PCs are pretty good. Though the 701's screen is too small, so the 900 series Eees are a good deal.
Though if you want a full size laptop, you'll probably end up paying more for similar spec

Well yeah! In the story, the Grinchy takes all the presents and things up to the top of Mt. Crumpet and he almost pushes everything off, but then when he hears everyone singing, he comes sledding back down into Whoville ^^ I just had to make an animation based off it

Well, it's 5:47 PM, and I'm going to start getting ready for bed in a bit. I'll switch into my pajamas ( Essentially just my boxers ) in a while, then probably crash around 7ish. If my mom comes back home by then that is. She decided to go for a "walk" a bit ago. If she doesn't come back, that means I have to go out and find her because she'd probably have collapsed and frozen to death or something.
She's had Pneumonia twice so far this year, and is always coughing hard. Plus, she's always cold, even when it's about 80...
If I have to get up and get dressed to go find her... I'll be pissed...
