Amaya smiled and shook her head, pouring the now boiling water into the mugs. "I'm sure there are things I will forget." She said reassuringly, now putting the marshmallows and whipped cream into the beverages. Amaya handed one of the mugs to Adrian as she walked back over and took her seat on the couch once more.

"Hey, any chance you have some candy canes lying around?" Adrian asked as he took his mug. "Sometimes I like to stick in hot cocoa, let it melt, and it makes it all pepperminty."

"Ruining perfectly good hot chocolate...." Amaya teased as she pointed to the tree. "There's some wrapped ones we hung up on the tree to kind of decorate slash for eating..." She muttered before taking a sip from her own mug.

"Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it. I used to do it all the time as a kid." Adrian said as he set his mug aside as he got up and moving around behind the tree to take a cane that was likely to be noticed as missing. "It's just been a while since I've actually had a mug of cocoa, much less been in the mood to cuddle up with a mug." he said sitting back down and unwrapping the cane, snapping it in half and letting the hook part hang in the cup by the rim, offering the straight bottom half to Amaya if she wanted to try it.

"No thanks." Amaya said, declining the offer of the candy cane from Adrian. "I like my chocolate to just stay chocolatey." She said with a slight grin.

"Eh, more for me then." Adrian said resting the other half in his cup. "But it becomes a nice hot cup of Christmas cheer with it." he said stirring his cocoa with the canes a bit. "Maybe one of these days I'll get one of those mini candy canes and sneak it into your cup when you're not looking."

"You do that and I'll suck on the end of a candy cane until I can use it as a deadly weapon." Amaya warned. She didn't like being tricked to try anything. One because she was stubborn, and two because it was the easiest way that Sikes drugged her with her noticing. It was better for her food to be left alone.

Rock rolled his eyes, feeling the heat on the ice and didn't do anything but turn around, bolt, stop and looked at her as a little bump in the ice formed right in front of her right skate. A bump high enough to reach the braking teeth that skate have in the front.

Kierra shriekd as her blade caught on the ice and she fell foreward, landing flat on her face. people around her laugh and she blushed before standing and skating over to Rock. "So that's how you want to play it?"

"The scary part is you'd do it too..." Adrian said somewhat nervously. "Relax, I'm joking. I'm not going to drug you with holiday cheer." he said giving her a kiss on the cheek before taking another drink from his mug.

"I would. And don't you forget it." Amaya said, returning the kiss. She snuggled down into the couch, now turning her attention to the movie that was on tv.

"Aw, even to me? That's the kind of thing that would turn a person into the laughing stock of the emergency room. You could at least stab me with something more dignified." Adrian joked as he folded his wings around her once more.

"Ah yes, then I could sniff them out from the rest of my scar collection. Although I guess it would make for a good reminder to not piss you off." Adrian said as he slipped into the peak of comfort. Reclining on the couch with one hand holding his mug of cocoa and his other arm around Amaya with his wings folded around the both of them.

"It would." Amaya agreed before she sighed happily. She hadn't been this happy in a long time. It was nice to have Adrian back after being apart for four years, better than nice, it was wonderful. They had gone through a lot together and it had taken a lot to find each other. "It would make it a Christmas to remember." She joked, now looking to watch the snow fall out the window.
