"I'd try to feed on the local fauna before feeding off you." Raphael muttered. He hadn't mentioned it, but animal blood was gross in comparison to human blood. "And you shouldn't be so eager to let a vampire feed from you; it's dangerous and you don't know just how blood much he'll drink."

"I know, and that offer is exclusive to you. I don't want or expect you to feed from me at every opprotunity imaginable. I'm just saying that I trust you and I know that you won't kill me." Justine replied, unsure as to whether or not she should be flattered or offended by the sentiment. For optomism's sake, she decided to go with the former.
{Hm...wouldn't it be interesting if Roxanne mistook Justine for 'the vampire' and killed her in her sleep? *Or came close to killing her, anyhow*}

Raphael sighed before seeing some assorted rock formations scattering the fields along the path. "Look, we should be far enough from town now that Roxanne won't be finding us for a while. We can stop and wait out the bad weather here." he suggested as he headed for a cluster of large rocks that stuck out of the ground and created a sort of small cave and shelter from the rain.

"Alright. I'll keep watch, just in case." Justine flashed Raphael a smile as she headed towards the rock formation herself.

"Still, better safe than sorry." Justine replied with a small frown, not just thinking of Roxanne at this point. What about wild animals? Vicious monsters? Horribly, horribly lost door-to-door salesmen?

((That salesman part nearly made me lol, which is bad since I'm actually in class right now. XD I want to draw that, a group of poor fantasy salesmen standing out in the rain in the middle of nowhere all ;n; ))
"There's only one way into this little hiding spot, so nothing's going to sneak up on us. If anything does try to get us, I'll take care of it." Raphael told her easily as he sat down against one of the rock walls and went back to gazing out at the rain.

"Maybe so, but I can still go without sleep for far longer than a human. If you weren't so paranoid I could rest more often. Besides, I have trouble getting any sort of sleep on rainy days like this anyway...." he muttered.
