Mala looked out their bedroom window to see a few fleeing drunks running towards their ruins, screaming and begging for their lives.

"What the...?" Van went over as well, wondering a bunch of drunks were doing in their neck of the woods instead of back in town by a bar.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"There's a DEMON in town! There's a DEMON in town! It'll swaller our SOULS!" one cried as they ran.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well then. That answers that question." Van said, blinking a few times at the convenient answer to his thoughts.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala sighed softly. "Should we check it out and see if their claims are true?" she asked.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I guess...It would suck if we just got settled in again just to have more hell break loose." Van said as he headed out the room.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"True..." Mala said, sounding almost dissappointed that she couldn't just go back to bed and relax for half the day. She walked alongside Van, very careful about not stepping on his tail.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

As he headed downstairs, Van couldn't help but peek into the kids' rooms, see if they were woken up by the sudden drunkards before he headed outside.

Larai was not even paying much attention to the drunks. She held the sleeping Anise in one arm, and a book in the other. Currently, the book was more interesting than any super-sticious nonsense.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Good thing he's a heavy sleeper...." Van muttered as he passed by Kai, out cold on the couch due to his room having been refurnished for Anise. "Here's hoping they don't mistake me for one of their supposed 'demons'." he said as he opened the door.

"Whatever demon they are facing, I doubt they're half as hansome as you." Mala assured Van with a small smirk, thankful that she had remembered to put on something decent before leaving their room.

"I'd call them my godly good looks, but then Atius would get all pissy again that I'm saying he's not a god." Van joked with a smirk.

{Some idiot, with poor grammar might I add, set up an entire thread just to act like a desperate douche and ask random online strangers to be his GURLFRAND. (He didn't spell it like that, but this is me being a snarky b***h again)}

Mala laughed, grabbing a hold of Van's hand as they continued along. "But he's not~ At least, not anymore."

"I'd be skeptical, but if there is any sort of higher being greater than the gods, I'm pretty sure Atius can kiss any hope of godhood goodbye." Van said with a grin as he interlaced his fingers with hers.

"Chances are, he won't. He'll just fade into obscurity." Mala said with a broad grin and a chuckle.
