Damien felt huge relief. "Well that's good. Does that mean I can see him then?" he asked.

"Of course." The doctor replied, leading him to Jian. He seemed to be resting peacefully, as if he were prince charming, if prince charming was put under a spell instead of sleeping beauty or snow white.

"Hey, Jian. Wakey wakey. Time to get up. You've overslept" Damien joked, hoping that would get Jian up. He didn't want to come on too strong for someone that was in a poison-induced coma for the past few months.

"O-oh s***!!" Jian said jolting up. "Are finals over?" He asked, looking around and feeling dizzy from the sudden movement after so much time. "Oh, my head..."
The doctor jumped from surprise when Jian suddenly woke up at Damien's joke. After all, he had been still for several months.

Damien was taken slightly aback. "Finals? University was years ago" Damien chuckled. "Glad to see you've finally woken up. Nice beard."

"What?" He said with some surprise. He looked in the mirror, touching his beard and feeling somewhat disgusted by it. "I'll have to do something about that." He said, tugging at it while he thought. "That's right, we graduated years ago... then we were at war..." He thought, turning to Damien with surprise. "Are you alright? Is the war over? ... How long was I asleep? A week? No, I couldn't have grown that much hair that quickly. Don't tell me I was out for a full month..."

"Actually it was a few months. You don't remember talking to me or Monica while unconscious? Well, anyway we found out why you wouldn't wake up after the attack on HQ. You were poisoned. In fact, many of our executives were poisoned, including me. It seems that you got it the worst though. We found out who developed the poison, but we're trying to figure out who commissioned them to do so" Damien explained.

Jian was silent and began rubbing his head. "You mean that wasn't just a dream?" he said a little confused. "I was... poisoned and in a coma for months?" He asked. It was a lot to take in, especially after he had just woken up.

"Yeah, we're going to have to get you caught up. Of course, you'll need to take it easy for a bit. Your body will probably need to get used to moving again after a few months of staying still. I'm sure the doctors will want to keep an eye on you for a little longer just to see how you're doing. I'll make sure to let Monica know you're conscious. I'll leave you some time to get used to the stuff you missed" Damien said.

((Yeah, the idea was that they would poison everyone around Damien until they died, then kill Damien with Hemlock or something strong.))
"Sure... I think I'll want to get cleaned up as well." He replied. "The beard is annoying me." He chuckled. "I... I didn't miss too much, did I?" He asked with some concern.

"The surrender of Helmshire was the only major thing you missed, though technically I missed the actual surrender myself as well. Other than that, it's mainly been planning and finding out who's trying to poison everyone" Damien said.

Monica was just about to enter the room Jian was in when he saw Damien was already in it. 's**t! Stupid nurse. She told me no one was here'. She was about to close the door again before he found out it was her but glimpsed Jian sitting upright. She opened the door wide and said nothing, quickly proceeding to hug him with a huge sigh of relief.
When the twins left the Ravenstone household, there was a note in Valkyrie's backpack that said, "You two are welcome to stay at my place anytime. -Ms. Monica"
In international news, some reports came out about the disappearance of the son of a duke from *insert country name here*. Many news broadcasters were quick to blame Diethelm on this, claiming that he was kidnapped by Diethelmian spies and some bogus pictures of the blond noble being tortured and killed by workers wearing Diethelm uniforms were spread throughout the net like wild fire. Whether Zil had anything to do with this can only be confirmed from him.
((OOC: I'm confused about where to put Kyrell and Zil actually. Was planning on something for the next morning but *shrug* I'll post with them later. It's definite that Zil won't be staying the night though. ))

Jian perked up when he heard the door slam, but suddenly, Monica re-entered the room and hugged him. "M-monica." He stuttered, blushing. He felt his heartstrings throb by her touch.

That morning, there was a note on the table and breakfast for two before Shadow and Kyrell were awake. The note said, "Oh. And I'm not sure if that one has a problem with the priestess or not. Favor, please keep him for a little while"
Monica looked up at Jian asking very softly, "Where have you been all this time?" She looked both desperate for an answer and quite upset as she said this to him.
