Shadow got up late as usual and the breakfast was cold. She ate it, not wanting to waste food and noticed the note on the table and instantly recognized the handwriting. "Are you f****** kidding me?!" She demanded. 'Damn... where is Zil? Where is Kyrell?!' She thought, looking for both the prince and Zil.
"Apparently both poisoned and in a coma for months." He told Monica with slight jest as he pat her on the back to comfort her.

The prince was still on the couch, having been knocked out again in an unpleasant way for attempting to sneak out under Zil's watch late at night and dragged back into Shadow's apartment. He grunt a little, his sleeping form holding onto his stomach.
Monica sighed a could not help but smile a little as she noticed Jian having his humor again. She replied, "Me too. I was poisoned. But we'll find out who did it... soon. Rest assured, okay?"

"Alright." He replied with a small chuckle. "But I will say, I feel great. I- I don't know why but I don't feel stiff at all. In fact, I feel like a young college student again. Maybe that's why I woke up thinking about finals." He jested, stretching.
Shadow let out a strong sigh when she looked down at the prince. 'This is going to be painful...' she thought. 'There is no way I can take him with me. He'll slow me down, especially when I need to escape. And there is no way I can meet with Damien while he's there, but I can't exactly leave him here either. God, this is going to be like having to train Saiyu all over again, except worse!' She thought with distaste. 'Well, I'll have to do something with him...' She thought, pacing back and forth. 'The next time I see Zil, I'm going to kick his a**!'

Damien smiled when he saw Jian and Monica hug. He thought he might have seen Jian blush, but he wasn't sure. It was hard to tell with the beard. "Well I'm glad to hear that you feel great. I'm sure the doctors will want to run a few tests so I suppose we should take our leave for a moment. Let us know when you're allowed to leave the hospital" Damien said.

"Alright then. I'll try to be a good boy for the doctors while you're away." He replied with a jest. "But in all seriousness, do take care of yourself." He told him.

"Of course" Damien replied back with a smile. "Oh, and don't worry. We'll get you all cleaned up and get that beard shaven off. You'll look like a proper Diethelmian general again".

Damien nodded and then gave Jian a salute. He then turned to Monica. "I suppose we should leave now so that the doctors will be able to get their tests finished soon" he said to her.

Monica let go of Jian a bit hesitantly but nodded and said, "Right. We have to go. See you at work again soon"

Jian nodded and waved at the two as they left him alone in the room so that the doctor could run some more tests.

Damien sighed a huge sigh of relief as they left. "Wow. He's been in a coma for so long that it feels strange seeing him up and moving again" he said to Monica, "but I am glad to see it".

"With all this settled I think it's time I unveiled my plan that I had been working on for a while and confiding in a few officers with. I think it's best to reveal it before the Chief General returns to office" Damien said. He then asked "did you come in your own ride or would you care for a lift to the office?"
