It was sweet for trevor to say no. Just threw me for a loop. And I guess I am kinda low on gold so his advice was good but.. Blehhh.. I just respect his opinion so now I'm dizzown... Cheese w/my wine? cheese_whine ..... crying I could give you a reason not to donate to me, if it would help. I'm actually stretched But this will be long... Really long. I first joined FG4PG with no intention of staying. Really, I'd seen some newer members with rather expensive items on the marketplace, and I was wondering where they were getting them. I eventually realized that alot of them had this guild in common, and that they were getting donations like crazy here. I wanted to figure out what the cause was. Back at that time, before I joined here, I was [and still am], mod of this guild, and the original founder: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/index.php?guild_id=5991 . Despite that I gave up captainship there, I spent most of my time on gaia participating in it, making gaia worse for everyone else. But when I started participating in FG4PG, I started to see a different side of gaia. Before, I'd known mostly GDers, people who'd flame you if you didn't worship their prommiedom. In GD, it was all about the individual, and many members of marketplace manipulation were also GDers. Everyone was kind here, and that was a new gaia experience for me. Instead of viewing gaia as a chore, it was a place to have fun. I'd been taking things too seriously. So I decided to always keep FG4PG separate from my other activities on gaia, especially after I became a mod. That's the reason I don't accept donations because the gold I get would end up right back in marketplace manipulation, and I feel most people wouldn't want that. Donations=Benevolent My Guild=Malevolent. It's messing with morality. I can do wrong things, but I won't exploit innocent peoples money for it. So if you donated to me, you'd be donating to my inflation quota [on which I'm 17K behind], and that's against my morality, and most FG4PGers wouldn't like it. So that's why you can't donate to me.
That probably won't cheer you up, but I hope it will explain things.

Don't care what Trevor does outside the guild... I don't I'm sorry... I just don't! I'm kinda older and can donate to gaia to get my way anywhoo.. And I can donate gold to others who suffer from the market inflations.. In short the donators off set the market players so it can balance out if you're in this guild. I'm glad he found a happy place here to be treated as a friend! And that's just that! mrgreen

I've been tracking the scarf pretty carefully, and it's a hard one to catch up to. I plan on getting one myself, one of these days.
