That's fine...so I'll just skip to the end, as nothing else eventful really happned until I was getting ready to close up shop anyway.
So yeah...now, I've been working at the store for 3 months now, but working in the department for about 2 weeks...and they had scheduled me to close...normally that's not such a bad thing, but on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, who ever's closing has to clean the block...and that entails taking all the fish out out of the display case, putting them in the cooler, taking the chicken, bacon and sausage and putting them in another cooler, and taking whatever ground beef, steaks and roasts we have and putting them in those little foam trays and wrapping them up. After that, said person has to remove the doors from the cases, and all the other parts inside...and keep them in order. Afterwards, said person needs to take the hose we have for that purpose and hose everything down, along with the floor afterwards.
Anyway, I had no idea what the hell to do...so the guy I was working with decided to show me before he clocked out which was 7:30 (I had to go home at 9:30) so, we started pulling everything out at 7...which was about half an hour too early, according to the store manager...and when he saw me doing what I was doing, he walks in and says "You're lucky the store directors are on their way out, if they saw you doing this this early, they'd go off and rip you a new one, along with fire you, blah blah blah." My co-worker, Ed comes in and explains that our department manager is a douche for scheduling me to do that, and not show me how...so now, my manager is gonna get a new one ripped, I'm safe, and now I know not to start taking apart the block until about 7:30-7:45.
But for the last part, after I had finished cleaning everything and putting everything back in it's place, I had the joy of finding out that the insides of my work boots were nicely squishy with water.

That must've been frightening until everything got cleared up. And I kinda like the sloshy water-in-mah shoes feeling XD Here's the LJ thing, it'll probably explain better than I know how to by this point: http://trishthestalker.livejournal.com/ PrioritisingToday I have sorted out my priorities and learned somethings today 1. Friends are an important form of support and that's what I need... not to create nasty messes that confuse and frustrate 2. Committed long-term relationships cause me undue stress, so I'm not exactly in one anymore but I don't really need to be in one 3. Love bites 4. Not knowing what you want bites more 5. Knowing what you need and knowing that it's not what you want is even worse 6. I like to make things much more complicated than they really are 7. Things are sometimes actually that complex 8. In the end you can only make one choice, you can't fence sit on your own potential choices because then one is never made I have reached a crossroad, an intersection if you will, I can't sit and hum and haw forever... that keeps people waiting. I've been afraid that the path that I've been travelling on is the wrong choice, but any other path I take could be just as wrong. In the end you have to just grit your teeth, pick a direction and hope it takes you the right way. Right now I still have the chance to turn around, the decision I've made is not yet permanent. However I won't always have a fallback plan, eventually the point of no return will be breached, the point where you've gone too far to just go back. For now I'm comfortable with the way I'm travelling, hopefully it's the best choice for myself. Although I'm still not exactly sure what just happened throughout the course of the day, or what I've agreed to *sweatdrop* ~LA Current Mood: Relaxed Current Music: Fullmoon - Sonata Arctica

yeah...I was in a relationship once...lasted a little over a year...then she broke my heart, and the guy I caught her sleeping with? I put him in the hospital...broken arms, dislocated shoulder, bent his knee backwards, and a fractured sternum...their only excuse was that he fell down the stairs after slipping on something...and now, she's 6 months pregnant with his kid, and when we were dating, she was all about finsihing school...
So now...I have no one, but my friends, and they've been there for as long as I can remember.
