So desu ka? hmmmm I've never heard that before... then again, I'm not too familiar with the culture of rice.

well I've heard only a few asian folklore and that's one of them.. that and my friends obsessed with Vamps so she found out about that little legend or whatever you'd call it

In the Mexico it's the chupacabra (i think that's how it's spelled).
In the Philippines it's different sorts of evil demons or malicious dwarves elves, and faries.
Anywho, Evil thrives if people believe in them.

xd I remember hearing about the chupacabra when I was a kid, sad thing is a lot of Mexicans thought it was real LOL we are such a gullible race

Hmm well whenever you have the time you could research on your own. I know I did research on Mexican history on my own since no one was telling me jack squat. heh it helps that my parents practically poured Latin pride in me, or more specifically Mexican pride

I don't believe so... my parents never really explained too much about my Filipino culture... ...the only thing I remember is how to perform the Tinikling... although that's because I like things that involve music and dance.

well I didn't mean that you have to do it right now or anything like that, take time during your winter break or during the summer, I mean obviously this is something that's outside of school so it should be done when you have the free time and the also if you have the drive to do it
