Mercy is somewhat of an oddball. She was always strange as a child, and even though she has grown into a beautiful mare her mind is very confused and twisted. She doesn't understand what being a Kalona is, so when others judge her for her traits, she gets very confused and sad. She doesn't like being called scary since she doesn't find herself as scary. Her mind tends to think in opposite ways then others, so sometimes she can be hard to understand and communicate with. She wants to have th strength to be her own creature, and doesn't want to be restricted to any breed functions or anything. Her family has always taught her to be the very best that she can be on her own terms, so she is trying to adjust to those ways while growing up.

When she does has impulses she can be violent, but usually the violence isn't towards others and its towards herself. Pain is an interesting concept for her, and she loves to feel it since it makes her feel alive. Her grandfather had the same tendencies running through his body, so Mercy usually damages nature whenever she needs to because it makes her feel better. It is a strange habit and hobby of hers, but since Wrath has influenced her so much, anything goes with her destructive ways.

Dexter refuses to wash himself. Well, that in itself sounds extreme. But in a way it is true. When he destroys an evil soquili he doesn't go and wash their blood away like most vigilantes would. Instead, he allows the blood to remain on his fur, and the dried effect stays with him as memorabilia. He has so much dried blood on him that to an innocent eye it looks like natural spots. But, Dexter is much more complex then such an idea. In terms of personality, Dexter will change himself to communicate with whoever is in front of him. Dexter doesn't have his own personality. He only knows that which he can act. And, he honestly is a great actor.

Dexter is -complicated-. His body will always be covered in stained blood, but it defines his personality. To many he has a wonderful soul with great humor and humility, but there is a problem to his ways. He is a complete fake in all of his emotions. The nice Dexter isn't what he is at all. He is anything but nice when he wants to be and he has a dark side that is there for many reasons. He keeps the dark side under control though, and spends his time blending in with the other Soqulil. He smiles to cover up the lies on his body, but that works for him. He has seen enough death to control himself in any situation, and Dexter would never hurt someone who was good in the world. He only is violent against those with evil intentions because they deserve such treatment. It is Dexter's code and way of life that keeps him under control and he has no problem being himself amongst all of the Soquili in the land.

He has plenty of evils to choose from, since kalonas and skinwalkers lurk almost everywhere around him. But he will only strike if they commit an act he can determine for himself. So in terms of interaction, Dexter is probably a lot of fun for any companion who meets him. He will continue to be fun to those around him so he can blend in as he always has...

Hysteria's fiery mane and tail fit her personality well since she is very hot headed and impatient about everything. She has a snarky attitude towards others that are not in her family. She tends to even get rowdy with her siblings, but she would never betray or ignore them. She may never admit it verbally, but her family means everything to her, well, with the exception of herself. This outlook on life makes it hard for her to enjoy and meet others, so she tends to be a loner most of the time while traveling. She finds nothing wrong with being on her own, especially as she grows into adulthood. She finds herself completely capable of everything and could never imagine herself being helped by anyone. She knows her family is always there when she needs them for advice, and random encounters with others are only meant as 'play' for her. Tormenting and bothering is just a benefit of talking to anyone outside of the family, and it is this outlook that gets her in all sorts of trouble in her future. To her everything is a game, and unfortunately she refuses t to change this outlook. She'd rather be the stubborn strong mare she is than anything else in the world.

Tsaphiel is from Raguel and Angel's second breeding. He is the first born son to that litter, and he stands happily next to his brother and sister. His dark appearance wasn't made clear to him until the morning after their baskets hatched, and the sun revealed a much brighter family in regards to the fur he actually carried. Tsaphiel noticed that he wasn't treated any differently then his fellow brighter siblings, but even so he had an anxiety that something was not right with his specific coloring compared to them. Both of his parents gleam in a wonderful and pure light, and he stands quite the oppositely. His brother Ashriel gives him a feeling of hope since he also carries some darker features, but not even Reaper appears as mysterious as him.

Tsaphiel's scars are another issue, and those came brutally on the second day of leaving his basket. He had left his parent's grasp for only a second, and a young Kalona colt attacked him in full regards. Tsaphiel was close enough to be heard, and his cries are what saved him on that day. His father and older siblings came quickly to the rescue, but unfortunately Tsaphiel was left with some horrible memories and painful scars. When he finally was able to talk to his father about it, he explains to his dad that he isn't trying to forget what happened. He just realizes he wants to be stronger, and he learns about something many other Soquili go through on a daily basis. And Tsa decides to protect them somehow, and the ideas finally start flowing in his mind.

Shortly after getting used to his more peaceful child years, Tsaphiel decides to bring the isssue of his color up to his father, and he was regrettably embarrassed at first since he didn't want to seem weak or too nervous on the situation. As a new son to the generations he tries hard to uphold any wants that Raguel might have. His father surprised him tremendously though, and explained to him how important his coloring and name is. Tsaphiel translates to an angel who watches over the moon, and when Tsaphiel was born, Raguel and Angel knew that such a name would benefit their darker offspring. Since hearing such a story from his father Tsaphiel has changed his attitude on life. When growing into adulthood, he decides to become a guardian of the night, just as his name implies. He learns to fight from his sister Iofiel, especially after his accident's occurrence, and in no time he is ready to protect any innocent creatures from the darkness' grasps.

Tsaphiel has taken his growth very seriously, and hopes to protect the night sky for as long as he can. He also takes his family life very seriously and continues to check on them while they all sleep as much as he can. It may be that his role in society has a small twist in comparison to his siblings, but he knows in his heart that others will benefit from his duty to protect, and that he will be most happy expressing himself in this way for time to come.

Jingfei comes from a very interesting family. The family wasn't always stable, but now both Ju and Raksh are ready to raise a normal family together in the right way. Their first two sons have lived through life without a father since Ju refused to admit he existed, but now since that is patched things are more peaceful between everybody. The family is trying to do things right, and Jingfei and her siblings will be a result of that dream.

Jingfei is very quiet and collected, but that is only because everyone else in her family is the same way. She tries hard to please everybody and keep the peace between everybody, since she is afraid of fighting and conflict. She is starting to open up a bit as she spends time with Huojin, since his personality is very exuberant and loud. Jingfei wants to be as polite and kind as she can be without making too much noise like her brother! As she grows older, Jingfei decides to break away from her total quiet self. She wants to learn more about being social, while teaching her new friends about the beauty and silence of nature. Overall she is a kind and sweet soquili, who is just trying to find herself in a complicated lineage.

Family!

There isn't one word to describe Deumos. She comes from Hell itself, and after waking up not expectantly on earth she finds herself lost in complete translation. She's never experienced emotions of any kind, since her life was very repetitive when she was amongst other demons. She's been in the darkness her entire life, and she's never experienced anything else. Being around light has opened her up to all sorts of things, and she slowly learning just how many creatures are living around her. Deumos hasn't decided what she is, or what she wants to be. Although she has a dark side, it is only dark because that's what she's only known. But when she meets creatures, she is learning that not everyone is dark, and that there are other possibilities in the world.

The fact that she has a choice is somewhat frightening for her, and she is trying to meet as many creatures as she can so she can start to feel and understand all of the emotions she is capable of. The fire that surrounds her is a fire that she has carried since being underground. It was the only light she had, and when her emotions flare the fire grows tremendously. Usually it is somewhat contained and cool, but there are times when even Deumos is expected to get out of hand. She is a demon afterall, and her true breed can never change that.

Cresil is the daughter of Reaper and Angelique. She has a load of family members and is lazy about keeping up with them. Then again, she's rather lazy and bad at attending to many normal functions in life. Her negative outlook and mannerisms started just a few days after being born. She remembered coming out of her basket and seeing the sheer differences between her mother and her father. Although both were spectacular in essence, she found it strange the way she and her siblings looked and acted. Some of her siblings are incredibly kind and genuine while others are harsh and violent. Her own personal decision is to remain undecided, and she leaves it at that with a snarl. But seeing life this way has lead for her to be a very negative soquili to be around.

As she lives and grows through life, Cresil will begin to despise her features even more. Everywhere she goes she finds random soquili approaching her and acting as though she is some incredibly kind being. These kind of scenarios have lead her to hate her horn and wings. She finds nothing pure about herself. Her father is destructive and strong and she enjoys learning about the powers he carries. Her mother's keen since of mind and cunning behavior allows for her to expand on her thoughts and look at the world differently and uniquely. But her traits will always distress her, and her facial expression will remain as the key essence as to what Cresil is like. She may hide her heritage in the 'genes' she possesses, but the history of her father and mother's struggles eliminates vividly on the frown she wears in her daily life.

As she transgresses through her adult life, Cresil will strive to 'try' and create an image she is satisfied with. She knows that perfection is long and far from her genes. But Cresil will never have true confidence. She will always feel outcasted and alone, and although her family is there for support her mind is too flustered to even try and accept the support. Cresil's overall fate is to remain undecided, since it is her own fault for ignoring so many learning experiences as a foal and as a young adult. Everything will make her strange and different, and she has accepted that as her overall story and self-worth.

Lanzo is an interesting character in terms of his family heritage. He finds himself more quiet than his siblings, but that is because he is always thinking or planning ahead. He inherited a calculating mind, and at times he can be rather judgmental or critical. Though, such a mind also allows for positive feedback and extraordinary thoughts and recollections. So in tern he is more of a thinker then a speaker as a child. During his youth he finds himself searching for his voice rather then a genuine personality. He believes that if he finds his voice he'll be able to somehow understand himself better. Most in his family are very opinionated and loud, and he isn't sure if that sort of manner and lifestyle fits to his liking. He is quietly learning and growing in a way that feels comfortable to him since he plans to figure everything out when he reaches adulthood.

Before growing entirely his father begins to introduce him to training and self defense. The movements he learns become a kind of release for Lanzo, and he finds himself enjoying all of the lessons and teachings very much. He beings to realize that he is very good at whatever his father shows him, and that he can achieve a level of combat that is worthy amongst others in the land. He finds out that he has this feeling inside of him that allows him to want to be strong and fierce. He's talked to his mother about this 'intensity', and she tells him that she understands. It may be that he feels the intensity that Kalona feels, but it is through the training and protecting that he finds himself controlling any unrealistic thoughts. The training gives him hope that he can protect both his family and anyone important to him without worry or fear. And, since becoming strong physically and as an individual, he finds himself completely transforming into a fine stallion. With a intelligent mind and a strong body, he's truly become everything he'd hoped for as a child.

Lanzo isn't sure what he wants for his future. All he desires is that his family remains safe and healthy. A part of him wants to continue to get stronger so that he can help anyone new that comes into his life. But, for now he will continue to focus on his relatives as much as he can and sacrifice himself for whatever duty is needed. That is his way, and he wouldn't change it for the world.

Devil comes from a proud and impressive family of unicorns. He was born knowing this, and has lived through his foal-hood by this principle. He doesn't have the patience to deal with anybody 'less' than him, so he is very obnoxious to interact with. His parents praise him for his destructive attitude, so when he finally ventures out and meets others, he assumes they are the idiots for not praising him in the same way. He doesn't understand how the world 'really' is, and in a sense he refuses to actually learn. He is in complete control when he is with his family and he doesn't find it possible to enjoy life any other way. He loves control and wants to use it on others for his own happiness.

The stubbornness he carried as a child follows him even into adulthood, and although his mind is more open to learning about the creatures of the land, he finds many to be unpleasing and unacceptable to his tastes. His expectations are a bit ridiculous and extravagant, but he puts them on others in a first encounter. He figures that its best to lay out information on how he lives to others, and if they want to walk away well, then he will happily chase them somewhere else. His horn is useful for that reason. He'll never realize that he is a creature who's breed is to be pure and good. He is blinded by a natural defiance to ever realize the truths that exist in the world!

Her name is Fauna and her personality can be as extravagant as she looks. She tries to act low key, but in many cases a much richer personality tries to make it's way forward. Although she is unskilled in terms of taking care of herself, her mind is very passionate and she tends to think situations out more then she should. She has always been a free and fast thinker as a child, and her mind has helped her analyze and uncover situations very easily compared to most. She tends to get into in other people's stories or problems since she loves helping out when she can. She also likes finding pretty things and keeping them for herself and her deer companion. Some of the items they both wear are little things that they have made together, and they both enjoy finding what they can wherever they can. In a way it gives them a reason to travel since they are always hoping to find their own treasures. She also likes knowing that she is intelligent and beautiful at the same time though tries to restrain from being vocal about such details. What is obvious is obvious, she thinks!

Her deer companion is named Juno and Juno does everything for her 'miss's'. When Fauna was a child she grew up in a herd that flourished and had all kinds of materialistic things. Many members of the herd would get animals assigned to them so that they'd always have a companion to help them with everything they needed. In Fauna's case, that was how she met Juno, and although Juno takes her work seriously, Fauna likes to consider the deer as her best friend. And in truth, they are inseparable. Fauna has never gone anywhere without her friend so she couldn't imagine a moment when they could be separated! One of her fears involves Juno leaving her at some point in her life, and that fear probably exists because Fauna knows she cannot survive without Juno's help and guidance. The thought of leaving has never drifted into Juno's mind since she too loves her friend, so in truth Fauna has nothing to worry about.

Usagi is chipper and kind-hearted in everything she does. Her family is very fluffy and warm, and she's always grown up with that attitude towards others. She believes its best to keep an open mind around everyone she meets since she never knows when a new friend might appear! In terms of background, she and her siblings carry names that were given from both of her impressive parents to represent each of their personalities. She herself was named after a bunny-rabbit, and her attitude and looks reflect this bouncy and cuddly personality. She makes sure to stay true to her heritage since she finds it important when defining herself. Plus, she likes her pseudo bunny ears and her fluffy tail!

As an adult she finds herself traveling all over in search of adventure and fun. One of her greatest joys is cheering up others, and her days are always spent better when she can help someone else smile. She believes that everyone deserves to smile and love all of the time. And really, she finds happiness to be the strongest power that everyone shares together. So, she is usually found wandering around and preaching joy to random strangers. Even though she looks very different from other Soquili, her attitude and warm smile makes it easy for others to approach her and love her back!

Eckhardt has always prided himself on being strong and sturdy. Even as a child he was excelling faster than his other siblings, and he would constantly test his limits until the state of exhaustion. As he grew older his limits continued to grow farther and longer and now he is able to do anything he desires. It's hard for Eckhardt to fail, since his mindset doesn't allow such a feeling. He's always found the comfort he's needed from his mother and the acknowledgment from his father. He is dependable to his family and siblings and grows up knowing he can help them if ever necessary. But luckily for him, his family is stronger than most.

When it comes to other creatures that exist in the world, he is somewhat clueless. His mother lives a very private life and his father rarely speaks. He decides to travel once his wings allow for flying and move away from his family. He doesn't want to live as quiet of a life as they have. Eckhardt has enough confidence in himself to know that he will survive without fail. So, it is through his travels that he is finally able to learn about the world. It is also a way for him to continue to test his strength and make relationships that he's never had as a child. He begins to develop a real personality in his adult-life, and for him that has made life more enjoyable overall.

Being the daughter of Hades and Andor, Wenona is one of a free spirit and tends to be more on the chill side of life. There isn't much that overly excites her, but there isn't much that makes her extremely mad, either. She always found herself having a very calm mind, even when some of her siblings were more of on the hectic and worrisome side. Thinking like that was all too stressful for her, so being a space cadet was just much easier, and maybe a bit safer mentally as well. It was always comforting to look at the clouds and think like them, even though no one in her family knew what she was talking about!

She loves her family and tends to believe she is fiercely loyal to allies (even though you won't see a lot of huge emotions come out of her), but she is as loyal as her emotions will allow and will stand up for what she believes in...which usually involves being relaxed. Confrontation is not her strong suit. Its hard to catch her in a moment of complete thought, and being spaced out may be a guard she uses since she's never really opened up to anyone before. But it is all she has ever been since a child, so as an adult she tends keep to herself and float around in the happiest of comfort levels. Most Soquili sort of wonder when they see her rolling around in the meadow or staring up in the sky, but it doesn't bother Wenona. She usually doesn't even notice.

Zephyr has been alone his entire life, and completely by choice. He's always avoided interactions with others and chooses to keep to himself for survival purposes. For ages he's watched others from high altitudes and could not understand how they could be so carefree with so many dangers and monsters in the land. Being alone and having no interaction have made him not only weary to trust anything, but terrible at social interaction. For most of his life he he would make do by talking to himself or thinking constantly, and lately that's been driving him nuts. The loneliness is getting to him.

Then when he watches others having the time of their lives, making relationships and feeling genuinely happy and so openly, he does have urges where he WANTS that. What if he ever took the plunge and made a friend? What about the families he sees wandering about. What if he could fall in love? He can't even imagine what that is or could be like.

These are all things he's starting to realize he wants, mostly because he's never had anything or any kind of social interaction. Is it worth it to stay on his own for protection and live a lonely life, and probably go crazy eventually? Or to risk some danger for some of the best memories he's always wanted? Taking the plunge and coming to the land is looking more like the possibility these days...
