I'm into a lot of music but most of my friends dont know any of the bands i like. I like BarlowGirl, Ill Nino, Keril, Rise Against and Imogen Heap. There some of the best bands. And most people never heard of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, They r Wonderfull.

Well, most of my friends in Coventry have heard of them, but that's because they are a local band...they are called Little Girl Screaming, and they are awesome!
There are also some other bands that some of my friends have heard of, but not many, like The Blackout and You me at six

First off, I would like to say, I love Death Cab, now onto my post...
I would probably have to say Spoon, Rooney (that barely gets mentioned), The Spill Canvas (though they are starting to get noticed) and The Subways.

Well, to start, nobody ever knows the amazing awesomeness that is Imogen Heap. It's quite sad.
Also, Morandi, Kerli, Epica, Innerpartysystem, and E Nomine deserve more attention. Tokio Hotel, cool as they are, is stealing all the attention from other German bands like E Nomine. Sadly.

Cpt_SharpieGuy They are kinda small but a band called Divide the Day.
Do you mean Division Day, or is that a completely separate band? >_>.
Absolutely nobody I know has heard of Rainer Maria. I do listen to a lot of obscure music, but that's the only band not one person knows of. It drives me insane.

Definitely Zombie Girl.
Their music is Goth that you can dance to! It's catchy, and has a great beat and great songs. I reccommend Creature of the Night and Prey. :3

i share the pain of it when people don't know these bands. Divided the techno bands. Maybe you guys have heard of these bands, but here, it's like. Er, say what?

I love Modest Mouse. They've been around for a while, but I don't think even the biggest music fans at my school know of them. And I find that depressing...

I also love Joe Hisaishi, a Japanese composer who's done tons of work for Hayao Miyazaki. Sadly, not one person I know has any idea who he is either.
Does anyone here know these guys?

-KIRA momo- Well, to start, nobody ever knows the amazing awesomeness that is Imogen Heap. It's quite sad. My girlfriend got me into Imogen Heap and Death Cab. Ironic, because I'm the grindcore kind of kid she used to make fun of LOL. I could go on and on with obscure grindcore, goregrind, deathcore, etc. bands, but... what's the point? I like having nobody knowing who the hell I'm listening to. The Fall of Troy, though, my favorite band EVER... Guitar Hero 3 kinda made everyone know about them. And honestly, it kinda sucks all the fun out of finding someone with the same music tastes as you. "OMG, you like TFoT? I do too! Like nobody likes them!" Is what I used to get on occasion. Now it's like, everyone's playing FCP and like "Hey yeah, that new Fall of Troy band is pretty sweet!" and I shake my head and lol really hard when I get home, then post on Gaia just like this ^^ LOL

The Vincent Black Shadow, I suggest Metro. It has a a jazzy type chorus but ti's so catchy and I love the video on youtube.

Only one of my friends knows The Matches, even though i rave about them 24/7. All my friends like r&b and stuff, like Ne-Yo, etc. It's kind of sad for me, but I kind of don't want my favorite bands to get really popular, you know?

I freakin love the band Family Force 5, and I'm hooked on their song Love Addict (sometimes spelled Luv Addict).
Check it out, get ready for some mind blasting awesome.
The music video is amazingly random as well- for me, that's a plus.
