Oh wow, how can I pick an epic out of my favorites? sweatdrop
I really love Rammstein, I adore Till's voice. He can sound angry or sad or hopeful or just downright terrifying. And the whole group of them sound great. I'm not sure who it is among them that plays that odd accordion in Reise, Reise though. I think it -might- be Flake. Not sure.
I also like Apocalyptica as well, both their covers of Metallica (who are also epic, even more so because my history teacher approves of their music, heh) and their original songs. They're even more epic because they've worked with so many singers and groups. Nina Hagen, Matt Tuck, Max Cavalera, Sandra Nasic, Matthias Sayer, Adam Gontier, Till Lindemann, Ville Vallo, Lauri Ylönen, Cristina Scabbia, Linda Sundbald, there's probably more that they're working with at this very moment. They're just awesome.
I'm also a little partial to KoRn. Mostly because I essentially grew up on them. XD I never heard a whole lot of their songs and I even hated them at some point (though it was more for hearing their songs constantly on the radio), but recently I started listening to them more.
Metallica is great. My mom hates them with a passion, but Dad and me and my brother love them. I really like Unforgiven III and One, as well as Unforgiven I. ^^
Most epic song? Easy. Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames".
Oh. And The Motorcycle Song by Arlo Guthrie. No, really. O_o It's funny. Well, depends on which version you hear.

Paramore, because they've created an great image for themselves and the lyrics can be pretty amazing. Their fanbase is huge and they've played the main song for the Twilight movie. They are epic but, not as epoic perhaps as...
My chemical Romance.
They rock, every time a new song comes out it's like whoa.. for me.
Their lyrics are brilliant and behind the words it actually means something, I just think they're epic..

In my opinion, I'd say Nightwish is most epic, especially when it comes to guitar/keyboard/drum solos. They're just so ... Gah! I don't know how to explain it! sweatdrop They're music just has a way of blowing you away when you listen to it. lol
