Tirsden Hurricos there's nothing wrong with it, but the way our society is, we are prone to hold disbelief on things, such as a woman playing as a guy on WoW. Looking at the ratio, every time a guy hears of a girl gamer, they go nuts. I'm guilty of it at time as well, unfortunately. Yeah, actually back in my EverQuest days I had an alt who was a guy simply for the anonymity of it. Was nice to avoid all the flirting, though most of the girl characters were played by guys anyways. My highest level character on WoW is a girl, as are a bunch of my alts, but I kinda think my most fun ones to play are guys. 3nodding More women should play video games! whee
Agreed, especially if all involved can be civil on it. On any game I play, I generally help those weaker than me, or I find friend's associates around my level and I set out. I know there has been times when a weaker player thought I was only being nice to them for their (assumed) gender. I play a role when I game, and I presume others to as well. It's sad though when your talking to someone and they (unsuccessfully) try to pass off as older than they are. They then try to turn it on you when you call BS on them and try to make you look like a sod. I think society just needs a swift kick over this (perceived/actual) age business, it's gotten ridiculous, don't you agree?

Yes it has. And I think one reason why I throw people is because I never really had a proper teenagehood... so I'm kinda having it now. I also refuse to grow up, because I know a lot of people who claim to be "grown up" and I have no interest in being like them. And this is coming from someone who's already been married and divorced. I am definitely not a normal cookie in the jar, but I don't care. whee It's only frustrating when people who can't stand people who are different get on my case. stare

I Ceymore Ratz Lol it is Jelly. gal I miss you, anyway You kiddies have got to hear this one. When I was in my 3rd year in college I was on spring break and I was passing through Kennewick, Washington, heading to my cousins who were living in Orfino, Idaho. Anywqay as it was I had a few problems with my Harley and I dropped it off at Shumates Harlies in Kennewick to get repared. I was walking around down town Kennewick window shopping and this cop pulled up and asked me to get in his cop car, and when I asked why he would not say other then I was loitering. Being an upstanding person I did as I was asked and he took me to the Kennewick Juvy to my surprise. When I asked whuzzup I was told to be quiet and they escorted me into the kids house of corrections. They more or less booked me, never asked me my age and when I finally got to talk to someone they would not believe me and commensed to try to find my parents. It took them 7 days till they finally found my father in Hawaii and he asked them why they were holding me. They told him they thought I was skipping school, they thought I was only 14 and that I was lying about my age. When they let me out they gave me a ticket for obstructing justice and loitering. It cost me $45 at that time which was just about all I was caring on my person. $45 dollars back then was like caring $250 on your person now. Well I walked to Shumates and picked up my Harley and drove on over to my cousins. Now My cousin was an attorney both in Washington and in Idaho and when he heard what I went through he told me we were going to take on the City of Kennewick. So we sued the city for a horse and saddle, because he always wanted to try doing that, and lol we won and even all the time spent in juvy and the trumped up charges they gave me. He took the Quarter horse and I got the saddle. Cool huh, dam good summer vacation, like a wild ride. I sold the saddle several years latter for more then it was worth.
I sooo loved hearing that! And I'm glad you got some retribution out of it! It amazes me that cops can go out & just do whatever they feel like & treat people like they have no rights whatsoever. Everyone needs to treated with respect & rights!
