In reality I think they're both awful candidates but If I had to choose, it'd be McCain. Although McCain is a douche, Obama acts very condescending towards McCain. I think a presidential candidate should be a bit more professorial than snickering while his opponent is trying to make his point. Obama still has a bit of growing up to do IMO.

I voted for McCain. There's no way in hell I want Obama screwing with the health care system and making third trimester abortions legal.

While I have no problem with you voting for McCain, I'd just like to point out that the President does not have the sole authority over "abortions" and other sensative issues. There's checks and balances in the government for a reason. I know there will be three spots open for the Supreme Court but the justices picked still have to be approved by the Senate. Besides, I think abortion should be left to the states and not the national government. And yes, I think that third trimester abortions are sickening.

@Snug: Oh, McCain picking Palin for her "v****a" is supposed to cover the Cliton fans... which I personally think is absolute bull s**t because a real Cliton supporter wouldn't want an over-conservative Republican VP. People who wanted Clinton and now wanting Palin just want a woman in office. And honestly, I think Palin is just a step back for woman because she's being used simply because of her gender. To me, it be more ground breaking if we had an educated and experienced woman running for VP instead of some never-heard of before Alaskan governor. Oh, and "hockey mom" just killed it for me.

sweatdrop Sorry if I seem passionate about the election - I'm in Government and I'm not only moderating but also coordinating our mock debate for the school. Btw, going to be the best debate ever - McCain is a handsome young black man xd

2nding this in a big way.

i'm really, really REALLY tired of people being so ignorant as to how our government works.

but then again, the REPUBLICAN VP CANDIDATE cannot even answer what the vp ******** does THE SECOND TIME SHE'S ASKED ON CAMERA, so...well...

idk. idk why i expect better, but i do. crying

Obama has my vote as of right now, I prefer his tax plan to McCain's, and while he lacks experience, I think he could possibly do well for the country. Besides, I've always thought the president doesn't actually have much power, other than the whole vetoing bills and appointing justices, which still have to be reviewed before they are installed. So honestly, not like he could do much to the country, of course, I coudl be wrong, and if I am, feel free to correct me on this.

Also, Palin is just a parrot, reciting what she is told to recite, the VP debates were so terribly bad I was laughing the whole time, she's no maverick, and she hardly has the brains to run a household, let alone help run the country. Doesn't even know what her job would be...

Also, pure communism doesn't work because there is no initiative for the workers to do more than the bare minimum, it just means they work harder for the same things that everyone else gets in the same amounts. Also, the government tends to not follow the, "All for the country" ideal.

I just have one thing to say you guys better choose wisely for the person who is running for president cause the new president will decide what is going to happen to me since I'm in the army.

Alright the person I would vote for Obama, my reasons for choosing him is as follows. A lot of people are afraid of his "socialist" ideas but I really do like them because socialism works. Sweden is a good example of that. Its not like communism which only works in books. Of course as the small saying goes "A lot of people are afraid of change." Also I want people who aren't earning half a mil. a year to have help and more benefits.

Er that is all I'm gonna type I've had a rather long day and will add more later. >.>
Yes socialism works no one is going to die from socialism and I should know since I live there xd

Obama.

Honestly, I think McCain is a smart man, just... smart about the wrong things. If he's elected, I doubt he'll do much at all. Like Bush's presidency (save of course this pointless war we're in).

Obama promises change, and I respect that. Plus, his health care system is much better than McCains.

Also, McCain's "tax cut" is able to cut taxes because it borrows money from other countries. So in the next ten to twenty years the next generation (me) will have to taste the repercussions of his tax cut.

Plus Palin is a goddamn retard.

She tried to get Harry Potter among other books banned from American libraries because of wichcraft.

Palin's religious beliefs will get in the way of this country if McCain is elected. And if McCain dies in office, god help us all.

Definitely voting for Obama ^^

I greatly dislike McCain. He has not made any good decisions in this election I think. He acts childishly in the debates, snickering and laughing and walking around and not even calling Obama by name. His economic plan is s**t too, I am tired of the stupid trickle-down s**t, it didn't work for Reagen, its not going to work now! D< Also, with him I see not end to this war xd We need out of there D:

Not to mention, Sarah Palin will be the ruin of this country. I keep hearing people say "We vote for President, not Vice President! She doesn't have to be qualified!" WELL HELLO IDIOTS D< If McCain dies, we're stuck with her! She has like squat for freakin experience, and seems to think that just because she did things in her state, that it means she has the experience to run the country. Yeah, bullshit xd

And of course, I want to vote for Obama because he will help my family with his economic plan, he will hopefully come through with his promise for gay rights, and maybe he will bring this long war to an end.

Also, some people need to learn to think outside of the Bible. D<

Anyways, this election I have this in mind:

DON'T VOTE FOR JOHN MCBUSH AND BIBLE SPICE
