Hrm. I'm just mainly looking for tips to make the boss fights more challenging really. Masterquest was fun, but it didn't make the bosses harder, just the dungeons.

As long as you remember where the locations to change the water level is, it's pretty easy. It's just kinda walking around in circles. I think I hate the Bottom of the Well more than the shadow temple though, due to the fact that you don't have the eye yet and there's alot of invisible crap in there. Stupid invisible crap...

I find that the Water Temple is more tedious than difficult, and the Shadow Temple you can get through in under an hour if you cut corners... and don't screw up a bunch.
You know, I haven't seen a lot of situational irony in most games, aside from the provided example. Maybe I'm just oblivious?

nah not oblivious, its just hard to remember from the past.
I always notice when its happening but forget pretty soon.
I guess the most noticeable Ironic part in a game is in shooters when you use explosives to kill someone and the result is it blows away some foundation causing a big brick to fall on your head an kill you.

oh dear lordd!
Fable 2 is soooo damn frustrating to me.
The storyline moves so fast and getting stronger becomes incredibly difficult.
more so on topic, I like being a blacksmith :3

Ironic humor is always a good idea in RPGs. It makes it a bit more entertaining for the player when they run across it.
