It most certainly is not. Travel through the lost woods for 620 miles and you should get to Hyrule lost.

Termina is surrounded by impassible geographical barriers on all sides. From poisonous swamps that kill you just from standing in them, with gigantic creatures in them ready to attack and even a 50ft giant wooden first class swords man, to mountains so high you can fall up. Also full of monsters that explode, the living dead, deep valleys, and four ruling monsters so terrible they cannot be described.

Those four monsters are the Four Giants.... Swamp, mountain, ocean, canyon, that's where each resides. They protect Termina as guardians.
