Aurore-Belle looked at Ryan. "Well, should we take the initiative and follow the leaders?" she asked him. She tried to smile at him, but it was hard. She didn't want for him to be able to pick her face out from a crowd.

Lucian was about to yell at Mikuyu for the use of the nickname, but then he spotted the spider. He grinned broadly, speaking smoothly. "That thing is awesome. I wish I could get a picture, but I forgot my camera back at home." He looked it over, fascinated by the little thing.

"Well, I'm sure there's loads here! We can come back another night, and you can bring your camera then!" Mikuyu suddenly ran off, though, sleeves still flapping. She jumped up the stair case, obviously very excited. "Lucy, come up here! There's loads of spiders!"

Lucian sighed, giving up on the nickname matter. He would have to deal with being called 'Lucy'. He followed after Mikuyu after a moment, looking about and grinning at the amount of spiders he saw.

"Look, here!" Mikuyu said, suddenly picking one up and letting it crawl into the palm of her hand. She spun, and put her hand up close to Lucian's face. "I like this one. You should get one, too! And then we can name them!"

Lucian sighed as he saw Mikuyu pick one up. Smirking lightly, he spoke. "What if their poisonous? Do you know whether or not their poisonous?" His face didn't let on to the fact that he knew they weren't, but that was beside the point. It was his revenge for her calling him 'Lucy'.

Ryan nodded and followed the two before him into the house. It had a musty smell, obviously, and giant cobwebs hung in every inch of the ceiling. He caught sight of the spiders Mikuyu picked up. Exactly why was this girl so excited about staying in this stupid mansion?
"Those kinds of spiders aren't particularly poisonous," he told the girl, eyeing Lucian all the while, "But you should put them down. You don't know where they've been."

Mikuyu watched the two of them, before she set down the spider. "You guys are going to make this night no fun, I already know it," She sighed, and wandered off, stopping whenever there was an insect, as if they fascinated her.

Lucian rolled his eyes at Ryan. "I already knew they weren't poisonous! I was just trying to mess with her." He watched Mikuyu walk off, sighing. "You know, you aren't going to enjoy this much if you don't get over that 'you don't know where they've been' thing." He followed after her for a moment, grinning back at Ryan after a moment.

"Enjoy? Sure, why would I rather be staying at home when I could be in some freaking deserted mansion in the middle of the graveyard?" Ryan answered sarcastically. It's not his fault he takes everything too seriously. He flicked a bug off his shoulder before catching up to Lucian and Mikuyu. "Hey," he began, "Do you think...spirits could be lingering here?" He was often fascinated by ghosts and ghost stories, but that didn't mean they didn't scared the crap out of him either.

Lucian rolled his eyes. "No such thing as ghosts. I've told you people this a million times." He answered Ryan simply, not even thinking about the possibility that there might be ghosts. No, that was a scientific impossibility in his mind.

Aurore-Belle had followed Ryan into the house. She stayed in a shadow corner. She didn't want the others to know. She liked to be invisible. One of the advantages of being a nerd. She crossed her arms and listened to the bickering.

"You don't know that," Ryan muttered. There was something bothering him, and being in a setting like this made it worse. "Hey where's Aurore-Belle?" he cried out, panicked. He was sure she was following behind him a while ago. Did she go back, or wandered off somewhere?

[Sorry, duckie tok his phone and left for like 2 weeks so I had no way on.]
Xaundellyn's form solidified as her anger grew. "They're going to dig through stuff! What if they break something?" Leaving the room, Xaundellyn was floating again, down the stairs from the attic and onto he second landing. "See? They are already disturbing the spiders!" If one to listen closely, they may be able to pick up the faintest hint of her voice on th stil air. To most, they would probably just say it was wind getting in through an open window. "If they go in my room I swear I'll," She shook her head, looking back to se if Xander had followed her.
