Vilmos quickly left the library, in an attempt to catch up to the other two.

It was dim within the building, it's walls barely visible by the light of the midday sun. Still, this was the perfect place for the shinobi to find that which he was searching so diligently for. With a blur of motion to perform the proper seals, and a flick of his hand, a ball of flame emerged to float above the assassin's palm. The flames lit his way, though he knew that he must be careful as always with the open fire.

At one time he had imagined that the building would look much more disastrous than it had. After all, it had been abandoned for five years at least. The area appeared to be quite intact however, leaving a feeling that it had only been lost a day or so ago, rather than half a decade. The jounin stepped through the many arcs that decorated the vast area, until he came upon a place that held more scrolls than books, one with the symbol for jutsu inscribed upon the arc above him...

Stepping through the once guarded doorway, the shinobi was struck down by an invisible force. It appeared as if he would not so easily gain access to the records he wished to acquire after all...

It appeared that the library had several seal markers spread throughout it, and he would have to find each one before he could pass through. For the moment, one of him would have to stay behind, while a group of clones would scour the entirety of the building complex for the seals. For something to be placed behind such a barrier, there must have been something of considerable value behind it.

The jounin assassin created six ash clones. They were only able to lift light objects, but they should be more than adequate for removing sealing tags. At the same time, two of the six had the chakra strength to summon up three more clones, which would aid in maneuvering when they came to a fork in the road. The clones scattered going in different directions, as the assassin wished that he could utilize a form of dojutsu to discover their location.

***

The clones were moving about throughout the complex, passing by large sculpted statues, and searching for any signs of an unusual seal or other form of marker that might hint at their locations. One managed to spot a paper slip upon the back of a massive appearing statue, which depicted an armored man wielding a large blade. The clone approached the stature to remove the slip, but stopped...believing it had heard something. Once more the double advanced towards the paper tag, this time it watched as the armored statue turned upon him, cutting it in two with it's sword.

The clone was certainly shocked, but with the consistency of ash for a body, he reformed around the cutting motion to continue in it's attempts towards the tag. The clone would push onward until it had removed this item.

***

Korumo's other double had come upon a fork in the road, one leading to a lower chamber, while the other lead to a balcony on the second floor. He formed a few seals with his hands and then created 3 more identical beings such as himself. Two went upstairs, two went down. Both groups found themselves before a tag of sealing. The one on the balcony floated out of reach over a room filled with statues which held long spears in their hands.

This problem was solved by the unique properties of the clones. One clone headed back downstairs to assist the others, while the remaining doppleganger leaped from the balcony to snatch the tag. Typically this would become a fall to the death, and as a massive flame burned above his head where the tag had been, he realized that even the flying shinobi would have perished. The clone however was of ashes, and thus could be skewered repeatedly without dying.

Meanwhile, the clones bellow searched in a sewer like maze until one laughed out loud. The others came to realize what he was laughing about when they noticed that the tag was across a water filled chasm. Water would remove the clones from play, and it appeared that there was an anit water walking jutsu cast upon itself. Looking at one another for a moment, the three thought with the tactical prowess of three Korumo's, thus it took only a moment to find a solution.

Taking one off his feet, the three went about throwing their replica over the chasm. He would snag the tag from the religious statue, before falling into the water below. Though he melted away into a mushy form, the tag had been removed.

***

After a long battle, the clone facing the giant statue was reaching his limit. Even though he was a man of ashes, he was finding that the chakra that fueled his existence was rapidly depleting. Working furiously the clone weaved and dodged the surprisingly swift motions of the stone structure. Korumo 2 got to it's back for only a moment then, reaching outward with the speed of a jounin master of shuurai tekken do gripping at the tag. It was then that the statue struck him in the head, destroying the ash clone completely...but not before the rapidly dissipating hand removed a certain paper item.

***

All of the seals had been removed, all of the trails complete, which made it all the more odd that the seal had still knocked back the original assassin.

"I guess there is still another seal here," Korumo sighed, as the appearance of a lock faded in front of him. "A key perhaps?" The shinobi used the familiarity technique and sent it through the chakra traces to the remaining clones, giving the image of a key, though it was kept vague to relay the message without being specific. Hopefully this would allow them to search for their new objective...

The two clones that had been wandering about without success were relayed the message as they stepped into an area containing a single desk. Having a hunch that they were in the correct area, the two walked towards the item steadily assuming that the desk could be trapped if it truly held the item they were looking for. As it turned out the desk had not been trapped at all....it was the room that they needed to be wary of. A massive stone slab fell from the ceiling to crush the two, and although one rolled and another dived, only the rolling shinobi made his way to safety. The other was crushed from the neck down... which is why he looked up and smiled. As the jutsu allowed, the shinobi reformed from the head down as the stone slab was lifted away. The two then went searching through the drawers. Eventually, one of the two found a hidden compartment, sealed off by the grain of the wood. It was tricky to remove, but once he did so the fake shinobi tossed the small red and yellow key to the other. This other clone held the jutsu chakra, and thus utilized it to perform the instantaneous body skill to catch up with his creator.

***

Korumo was pleased when a clone erupted from the ground, wielding a key of gold and red. As the separate assassin's dissipated, the real shinobi walked up to the library arch, sticking the key out in front of him, and gazing in aw as the seal appeared to burn away. Finally Korumo stepped through into the library's jutsu vault.

His boots kicked up a considerable amount of dust as he passed by the many shelves. There were countless scrolls and parchments upon the bookcases, but all seemed to be simple techniques compared to what he was after. He needed to find one specific scroll, which would allow him to access the most powerful of techniques from this village. The item he was looking for became apparent a moment later, when he came upon a chest of considerable size.

It's hinges creaked as he opened the box, for they had not been properly oiled in half a decade. Inside was a thick scroll, which seemed in rather good condition by his eyes. The shinobi had found his prize.

The library had layers among layers of dust, showing that it has been a long time since anything living had been here. Except for the footprints, which began to tell a tale of the previous visitor. Silver chakra began emitting from the woman's body, as she began to see back in time. Such ability wasn't beyond the time phoenix. While she heard no voices, she was able to reply what Korumo did and how he did it. Where there's a scroll, there's always a spare. Walking between rows of shelves, Niha collected a few scrolls here and there; ranging from simple ones to more advanced techniques. They were probably sealed before, but time eroded the locks and the assassin-robed man did the rest. Shortly, towards the end she found a chest of considerable size. It was empty, but held a secret. Reaching into it, she felt her way around in it until her hand came upon a string. Pulling it, a compartment opened up revealing the other scroll which held the most powerful techniques the village had to offer. Storing them away, the jonin left. Disappearing into the earth, heading to the gates. [exit]

Boverk "
Hate is not always a bloodthirsty roar when you charge your foe. The hate I have is converted into the weapons that slowly break you down. "

→ Boverk had came to the library with one other Oinin had came with him with a large cleaver on his back. Moving inside the Library Boverk and his brothern had started to look around the place. Each nin started to pick every scroll they could find on sound ninjutsu and all jutsus that had once belonged to the sound village. Searching around their cloak's became filled with scrolls only leaving a massive scroll that was once to be the Kage of this village very own personal scroll. The scroll was half the size of Boverk and he knew this would have to be kept on lockdown with a few other jutsus so no one would ever get a hold of it even if they raided the library at Konoha. Placing it on his back Boverk and his brothern left the library
