History: Xantir was born in a land past the northern desert. Here he was raised by his mother and the two-leggers to be a war horse. He had four sets of spikes set into each of his legs around his ankles to make him look fiercer. As time went on it became very clear to everyone around him that he had no desire to be like his mother. He spent time hiding out with the lions as often as he could.
When he was older he broke the post that he and a few others were tied to and made his escape accompanied only by a young filly. Half way through the desert she became too weak to continue and left Xantir in the night. He never found her. A week later he reached the Kawani lands and before too long her met Aeris. She opened his heart and together they had three lovely children.
He worked very hard to keep them all safe and became rather over protective of them all, especially Ijn. One night Ijn went missing and returned accompanied by two strange stallions. That night Ijn left his side for what he feared would be for good. Ijn had changed when she returned but Xantir worked endlessly to rebuild their relationship.
Both he and his daughter were taken by kalona into a kill ring. He had hoped to get both himself and his daughter back home safely but it wasn't to be. In a heroic effort to save his daughter and other innocent lives Xantir was mortally wounded. He died with his daughter keeping watch over him with the same loving eyes that he had known once in his life.
Personality: Xantir worried about small things and large things far too much for it to have been healthy. He worked to keep everything safe and sound for those that he cared for but found that the harder he tried to keep a firm hold on anyone the easier it was to lose them. He struggled to keep himself together but often found himself falling apart at the seams. In his older age he began to worry less about every little thing and more about only important things. In the end he was a truly noble stallion.

Amal met Xantir when she was very young and never strayed from his side unless there was a human or a trained horse watching. She loved him like a brother and when he vanished one day her heart broke. She stayed strong hoping that he’d just been taken out with a two-legger but on a trip to the village she learned he had run away taking a filly with him. Intent on finding her friend she took a shot at tracking to find him. Tracking was not her strong point and she found herself lost. After wandering aimlessly for so long she found herself in the Kawani lands. She slept harder then she had her entire life her first night there and in the morning she found herself curled up next to the stallion she had been searching for. Over joyed to be with him once again she never goes where they will be unable to find each other again.
