"I don't know....I mean, it's alright, I've just had...a lot of other stuff on my mind lately." Riley said as he averted his eyes from Zach, subconsciously tugging on the sleeve that covered his crystal.

Zach nodded a little bit as they came up to his favorite place for coffee. It was his favorite because his foster sister worked there, and she knew to dump a lot of sugar in his coffee. He sat down, flashing a quick smile at his foster sister before turning to Riley. "So..." He cleared his throat, unsure of how to ask his next question, so he just put it bluntly: "Are you gay? Because I am."

"No. I mean yes! I mean...bi...actually...." Riley's face turned red again and he promptly hung his head once more to stare at his feet. "....I fail at talking..."

Zach let out a little giggle. "It's okay. I'm, um, really bad at talking, too. So do you have any crushes yet?" He blushed. "Oh, I'm sorry if that's too personal too quickly. It's just that, I don't really get out much, so my only friend is this girl named Shane who's really awkward, just like me, so..." He shifted in his seat. "Um, sorry. I talk too much when I'm nervous."

"Like I said, I just moved here, so I haven't really had to chance to crush yet." Riley said with a small smile. "And that's okay, I tend to get flustered when I'm nervous and ramble off unnecessary info or fail to speak properly as you just saw earlier. And dad wonders why I'm dreading the day I have to take a public speaking class..."

Zach smiled and said, "I have a crush. Adrian. The, um, guy that shouts from his window. He's straight, but I think I can get him to like me. I mean, if I can talk to him." He laughed a little nervously.

Azhure smiled slightly as she finally took her leave of her peaceful garden. Soon she would be back in the hectic town that didn't like her. The crystal that was embedded in her palm hummed as she heard what each plant she passed was thinking. How beautiful the day was and other such things.She despised the town she lived in. Most of the people she knew were cruel and deserved to get whatever beating she had inflicted on them. She was supposed to go back to rehab soon if she didn't stop being so aggressive. She happened to like the center. No morons around to make her feel like crap. She made it into the town.

Zach smiled shyly. "Well, thank you. Oh!" He grinned as he thought of something. "I just realized. With you, there are six gay people in our school. Wanna join the gay club I'm going to start?"

Grinning, Zach said, "I'm just doing it because someone has to. I'm thinking of bringing Shane in, so there'll be seven people in it." He chuckled softly. "Maybe she'll meet someone. She needs to. Nobody really likes to talk about it, but she was sleeping with this older woman and, well, stuff... happened... and I'm pretty sure that's the only reason she hasn't left yet." Abruptly, he blushed again. "I'm, um, sorry if you don't want to hear all the sordid details of the town."

"I...have no idea who Shane is, so I'm not sure it would matter too much." Riley said blinking a few times in minor confusion as to why he was told all this. "Unless she gets mad about you spilling the beans about something like that in which case I'm feigning innocence."
