That voice. It was so familiar yet far away. It was as if someone were pulling on her soul from a far away place. Then, it hit her like a ton of bricks. Armand. Melting in place, Vivian's eyes smiled because Her voice wouldn't work. Then another voice boomed. Yami. Was this a dream? Then her words finally found themselves to her mouth. "Y'all....you're here. Is this real...?", her hand extended to feel the slightest physicality from both shinobi standing before her. This was a dream.
Armand would finally close the distance and catch up, hearing her words. With a shrug, he'd only respond with a simple: "No idea about Yami, but I think I'm real. See for yourself~" With the usual stupid grin, Armand lurched forward with a warm embrace aimed at Vivian. Looking around more, as well as listening with his heightened senses, he easily located Yami. When he was closer, he'd try to speak to him as well. "You know we're still not allowed to talk about that. I'm still technically a civilian. It wouldn't be unlike Kya to just show up out of nowhere and thrash us for that~" This was sort of half-joking, even if it was rather plausible. His feelings were Vivian were always tremendously positive. Yami was...at least now, rather neutral to him. They hadn't always gotten along in the past but they did their best to watch each others' backs...usually resulting in the opposite outcome. Regardless, things seemed like they were alright. Armand wasn't going to bring up the whispers on the wind that he had heard about Sungakure and its new kage just yet.

The very feel of her skin in theirs gave her a notion of security. Safety. Something she hadn't had in so long. Something she had yearned for, all other dialogue was momentarily muted in her ears. With a light, genuine, smile she retracted her wondrous hands. Viv rolled Her eyes at Yami's little comment and chose not to feed into his rumor. "I was about to register to join the leaf ranks...I feel like I have no purpose now guys...", her brutal honestly poured from her. Being transparent with them, only them, came so naturally now. Silently she blessed the day they'd all met. Well- they were the only people she had in this world.
Armand released Vivian and took a slight step back. Upon Yami's question, Armand would only shrug. "Rumors say it's one of your family members, back from the dead. Stranger things have happened, but I don't keep up with any of these sort of rumors. I've been trying too hard to feed myself to worry about governments and power shifts and such~" Vivian's words hurt him as well. He was very much in the same boat. "If you're joining up with Leaf, then I'm coming with you. Besides...I happen to have a debt with one of the shinobi in that village. Can't leave that debt unpaid, can I?~" Yami's little quip was irritating, at the least, but he couldn't acknowledge it. He'd been homeless and alone far too long to get angry now that the two of them were back.

Vivian's heart leaped when she found that Armand supported her in this difficult decision."Join with us Yami. We had some good times, I never want those times to end. I love you guys." Vivian's begging topaz hues bore into Yami's. Things in the shinobi world were crumbling, there was no reason why they had to part at this point.
Armand would give a nod. "I don't expect there will be much of a cushy welcome for us. If they let us in, we'll probably start at the bottom. No fancy hit-squads for us...but I did like the regular grunt work Kusa sent us on from time to time. Besides, I'd like to figure out what happened to that wretched Aomi woman somewhere down the line~". Yami was clearly in a bit of a bind trying to decide. It wasn't that Armand thought he wouldn't fit leaf. Quite the contrary, the ideals would probably align nicely. However, news of a resurrected family member was nothing to ignore. "Give it a thought. I'd suggest go finding out about what's going on in Sunagakure. Could be useful to know, even if it is just dispelling a rumor. While you're gone, consider heading up with Leaf~"
Armand would probably hate the village. It was too crowded for him. Too dense, too urban, not enough freedom. A constant closing in of walls would make him stir-crazy. But, he needed to be with Vivian. They had always been together since his enlistment. Separation wouldn't be any better. "I can only hope they won't keep me on a short leash when we've enlisted~"

Vivian knew this decision wouldn's be so easy for the boy. Yami always had many things in mind, especially when dealing with that deranged family of his. Sighing a pitiful sigh, the young lady swallowed Her pride and did what she felt was best for Yami's situation ar this point. What was the hurry to join leaf anyway? Of course they'd welcome her with open arms regardless of timing. It wasn't everyday that she would see Yami. He was too spontaneous for her taste."I'll travel with you to Suna to check and see. Then from there you can decide. Either way my decision is made, leaf is definitely my new home....", Vivian had mustered as much spunk as she could to declare such a statement.
Armand would listen to Vivian's decision and shrug. It couldn't hurt. Better for them to be together in case something went astray. Armand could handle being alone for a bit longer. "In that case, I'll be awaiting your return. I'll be getting all the paperwork and negotiation out of the way. Might as well make it easier for your return. Who knows, maybe I'll convince them to give me my own team. Oh, those poor genin~" With a small amused laugh at his own conjecture, he'd continue on the path to the village. Remembering the telekinetic seal that Vivian had placed on him a while back, he pinged her with his mind once, trying to communicate. "Be safe, keep watch for anything out of the ordinary. Don't take too long, and try not to get involved in Yami's family matters if you can avoid it. Things always seem to get rather...explosive when more than two of them are in the area~"

There it was. The decision was made. Waiting for Yami to embrace her, Vivian felt a little short changed as his body fell short to hers. Unsure of his reasoning, Viv rolled her eyes and labeled it as "Yami Behavior". This ruling always helped her hold on to the little sanity she could when dealing with him. The purple headed beauty walked alongside Yami with Armand in her ear. "Of course, I can't forget his crazy family. I'll keep in touch. Check in", she thought. Hopefully she would regret this little trip. For now she'd focus on following Yami to the next destination.
Moving through the shadows, like a specter of the night, the young girl found herself jut off the trail leading out of Konoha. She fell with her back againt a large tree trunk, and she tried to hold back the pain. Sh wanted to scream, and yell, as tear flooded from her eyes. "Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!" It was all he could muster as she slammed her fist against the surface of the tree; bark splintering off the point of impact. She felt so alone, so betrayed, so confused. All she could think about was wanting to kill them. One by one she wanted them to feel the pain they put on her shoulders; especially Mitsutada.
So, how was she to do that? According to her data analysis this group, known as the Kech Merah, was collecting Jinchuriki, as well as tailed beast. In order to find out their next location, she would have to race them to a tailed beast, or capture one of her own. However, the complications with that were staggering. Their leader being the the Shogun who betrayed the Leaf, had a large reach politically, and it would be uncertain how much persuasion he had over the neighboring countries. Having seen the Mizukage standing by his side, it as clear that she wouldn't find help in the Mist either; and that left only their allies in the Hidden Sand. Perhaps there would be a Jinchuriki their? Worst case scenario, she knew from her experience with tailed-beast that the one known as Shukaku ran rampant in the Wind Country. Perhaps she would take it upon herself to become it's host, and become a beacon to draw in the organization itself.
Having a roughed out plan, Shikayumi would begin to replace her sadness with vengeance as she made her way for the Sand Village.
