"My skill isn't one that can be really practiced here." Henry responds to Tay's comments about strengthening one's skills. "I'm here to theorize, to possibly come up with creative ways in which to strengthen myself. But that doesn't really involve pruning plants. I'm more interested in...other features concerning them." He glances at Taya. "He might know what I'm looking for. After all, he saw me at work yesterday."

Then the thunder crash occurs and Tay cuts herself. Henry watches as Tala moves quickly to bind the wound, though also notices his distinct aversion to it. Sighing, he closes his book and approaches the pair. "No offense, but you look like you're about to lose your breakfast. I'll take her, alright? You regain your composure, and explain to the teacher what happened, should she show up while we're gone." He turns to Tay, then. "Ready to go?"

Tala had to admit, that was rather unexpected and for a moment or two after the pair had left, he remained standing in the classroom somewhat dumbstruck by what had just happened. He was certain in the spur of the moment, he could have been quite capable of accompanying Taenya to the Nurse's Office, but in hindsight, Henry had possibly saved him from a good talking to for 'avoiding' the Infirmary on the day he'd apparently fallen to Myrddin's raiment...

He could understand that Henry held a more theoretical interest in learning, especially when it came to pruning plants - it had all seemed quite simple, but rather than carry on with the task at hand - by himself, he would move the shears out of the way and make his way back to his seat.

The thunder continued to rumble around him, illuminating the silent classroom with brief flashes of light which cast shadows about the room. Taking up his quill, Tala untangled his ink-pot from the vine which he had been drawing before being invited to assist and resumed the illustration...

There was no telling when, or even if, someone else was going to make their appearance, but Tala decided to enjoy the quiet whilst he had the chance - besides, it allowed him to take up a past hobby, something of which he hadn't been able to do much since arriving at the Academy.

Soon, the parchment would be filled with drawings - it had started off with plants, then had branched out into a forest with little animals hidden amongst the shadows... He had a good skill at 'drawing' the images from the page, any little stray dot could turn into something wonderful and so he continued to practice this skill until someone arrived, or the class drew to a close.

The cut itself was not a deep cut, with a bit of salt water to cleanse the cut and clean dressing it would heal fine, as the weather ensued with its rumbles and flashes above, Tay herself would feel nervous having heard rumours about the nurse and the doctor, Tay was not confident to entrust her life in their hands, even if she had a cut hand.
Henry's words surprised her and shock made her eyes widen, she had not expected Henry to react or even offer assistance to aid her, she could not tell what he was implying by his interest in other features but would assume he meant medicines " ah yes the many uses of plants is an interesting topic isn't it .. yes please do lead the way although I should be fine it wont hurt to get it looked at .. Vikraahm awoke to dark skies, almost as dark as night. The air hung still, and even the insects seemed quiet. He quickly stretched, and stood up, proceeding to create an opening in his ice enclosure he had constructed the night before. It was dome shaped, with numerous holes pocketed along it to allow air to flow through. Just a small precaution he learned to try and protect himself from predators if he were ever out at night. Though it usually melted by morning. 'This land is strange. There is barely any heat here. And water is plentiful as well as the plants.' he thought to himself. Looking at his scimitar and shield, he wasn't sure those would be allowed, so he quickly dug a hole at the base of a tree and using some of the ice from his shelter, and buried both of them there. Using some ice from his shelter, he quickly carved out a large V on the tree to serve as a marker for him to differentiate which tree had his weapon and shield. He quickly grabbed his mother's gourd, filling it up with as much as the ice as he could into it. It couldn't contain all the ice used in his shelter as he had made it much larger than normal, this land having water in abundance to draw from. After it was filled, he strapped it onto his back, his method to be able to carry the weight of the gourd. He grabbed his bags, attaching the straps to the top of the gourd to carry them. He also picked up Shinshi from his spot on the ground, having been allowed to roam or sleep while Vikraahm slept in the shelter. Shinshi took his usual perch, crawling up Vikraahms arm to his shoulder, partially buried under his black scarf. Vikraahm had camped near the academy he had heard about, the one that was said to help those with raiments harness them. His instructors in his homeland couldn't help him any further with his, his type had very little resources to use from there. And even when he did, it did not last long in the desert heat. Not having been far, he proceeded into the academy, told he would be given quarters with another male in what they called a dormitory and told today was an elective day, which meant he had to choose what class if any he would want. Seeing the combat class was particularly full and preferring a class less filled, he picked botany which he was told was all about plants. He enjoyed the sereneness of nature, and he thought me may be able to learn how to care for plants and thus be able to bring some from his homeland at some point in time. Having that done, he was given directions and a description of the building this class would take place.

Vikraahm scoured across the academy ground. He was thoroughly unaccustomed to the fact that everything seemed to be green for the most part. He had barely forced himself to accept the variety of colors the land had when the sky started to rain. Though rain was not new to him, as it did rarely happen from his homeland, this lands rain was much more severe. It was an endless torrent that could fill a village's water supply for months, and then some. At first, Vikraahm merely stood out in the rain, slowly moving in a circle with hands spread out to take it all in. It was like paradise. Even though the weather was cold from what he could gather as he walked around from others, it hardly affected him. He was even able to create ice from this water and messed around by creating random shapes of ice. Even Shinshi temporarily got out from his scarf to gather a bit of water before retreating back under the scarf. And then the sky grew angry. Vikraahm heard ominous and foreboding noises from the sky, sometimes very far and sometimes very near. When it was close it was near deafening, but regardless of distance he flinched each and every time he heard it. The first time he had practically thrown himself to the ground. He couldn't understand what was causing this. He briefly thought maybe someone had angered a sky spirit, or maybe this lands curse for its bountiful water was this wrathful noise. He saw a white flash of light off in this distance, before a much louder than normal sound of thunder hit him and he jumped prone to the ground. 'This land is cursed. No amount of water is worth this price.' he thought to himself. He erected a fairly weak barrier of ice that half covered him and waited to see if there was more of that white light, hoping to stay in this cover till it passed.

He waited a few minutes, slowly adding more to his ice barrier as more rain fell, but it did not shown any sign of letting up. He did not see more flashes of white light, and warily left his cover and got onto his feet. He needed to hurry to his destination before another event like that happened. He recalled a vague set of instructions of where to find what they called a green house, where they apparently kept their plants. It was described as a building with a glass top that was completely filled with plants on the inside. It took him a few minutes, but following the directions he was given, he saw the building stand out distinctly from the others. Realizing it matched the description he was given, he hurriedly made his way towards it, remembering the skies anger from earlier. Upon reaching the building, he paused at the door temporarily. He attempted to construct a flat protrusion of ice over the door, though it came out rather thin, to block the rain from him. He reached under his scarf and gently cupped Sinshi. "I need you to stay hidden for now. You can come out at another time. I do not yet know if they would allow you here." With that said, Vikraahm put Shinshi back under his scarf, this time fully covering him. He had not had time to go to his assigned housing, so he still had all his stuff with him as he opened the door to the classroom.

Vikraahms eyes scanned the room, searching for signs of life and others being present. It seemed the room, despite being a building that was described to him as one full of plants, had desk and seemed to be what he was told was a standard classroom. He idly wondered why the people in this land would teach indoors, before looking behind him and remembering the wrath they seemed to face from nature and now fully understanding why. As his eyes scanned the room, he noticed there being only one sole inhabitant that was not in a position where he could leads, so he assumed he was not the teacher. The male seemed to be around his age, if he went off looks alone. He seemed to be busy drawing random shapes onto a parchment. Vikraahm found it slightly interesting, but he refrained from staring at the work, and his eyes briefly re-focused on the other, not particularly noticing anything too special about him or that stood out, save his eyes being yellow rather than the typically brown, green or blue. Vikraahm's own eyes were red and blue from right to left, so it was interesting to see an eye color that differed from the norm. Still, Vikraahm was dripping in water and wanted to keep Shinshi safe and hidden for now. So he quietly moved over to a seat distant from this person, not saying anything or giving any form of greeting. Once at the seat, he would take off his gourd, his bags still attached to it, and place it onto the seat next to him. He idly wondered if he should freeze the water off, but now that he was in the company of others he did not believe it wise to reveal what he could do to this complete stranger. He shifted his focus to the plants around him, studying in his mind the varying forms they seemed to take and the varying colors each seemed to posses.

As his time alone had progressed and he had become more engrossed in his work, Tala was growing quite used to the sound of the thunderstorm overhead and only the most deafening booms would catch him unawares and cause the occasional minute scrape across the page when the sound had made him jump. It was from these little...errors, he would see new ways to expand his images, working on the mistake to turn it into something new. The majority were just scribbles, but from those doodles he would introduce more detail and inevitably some other creature would appear on the parchment.

He was not oblivious to the newcomer and lifted his gaze from the paper to regard the stranger, giving him an acknowledging nod before returning his attention to the parchment and lifting his quill to re-dab it with ink...Which had by this time been relocated across the desk by the same plant he had started drawing at the beginning of class.

Narrowing his eyes at the plant, Tala calmly rose to his feet and reached across for the ink, carefully untying the pot from the vine before setting it back down beside him. He would continue his drawings for a few moments longer before a damp sensation around his right hand, followed by a soft thud and light grating noise reached his ears and he turned to see the ink-pot had been upturned by the vine and was now rolling towards the edge of the desk...

Swift reflexes had him lunge for the pot, catching it just moments before it could to fall to the floor - but having acted with speed, rather than thought, he had brought the edge of his shirt across the puddle of ink, saturating it with a black stain which although wasn't all too visible on the shirt, left a large, black streak across the parchment which was becoming sodden at the edges as it came into contact with the ink puddle...

"Awweh C'mon!" Throwing his hands up in frustration, he then brought them close, his eyes narrowing in regards to the colour across his skin before extending his right hand out and setting the now empty ink pot back down on the table with a growl. It only took a moment to look at what was left of his work, then he heaved a sigh... "What else is going to go wrong this week?!" He would scrunch the parchment up into a ball, using it as a cloth to clean up the spilt ink before dumping it back on the table and slumping down in his seat.

The whole reaction ended with him folding his arms and leaning his head on the untainted skin which was the back of his left arm... All that time he'd spent, sure it had helped distract him from thinking about Taenya's accident, but the work he'd put in... He exhaled a frustrated sigh, then lifted his head enough to rest his chin on his arm and stare with defeated gaze towards the blue flowers as their vines crawled ever outward, exploring the desk and investigating the pile of parchment which now lay within reach...

Vikraahm spent his time making mental notes on the flora around him, noting the color and shapes of the various types. Most of the ones in this room he had never seen before, and certainly were never present in his homeland. He was sure he had not even seen them on the way to this academy, despite everything being new to him along the way. How this much variety could exist he was not sure, but he did not want to be caught completely unaware should any danger arise. He needed to know which were dangerous, useful, and useless so if the need arose he would not inadvertently kill himself for lack of knowledge. Further than that though, he was interested in how plants could attain such variety and beauty. Nature could be beautiful, and plants were one expression of that in this land. Their structure also allowed him to focus his thoughts, and at times find solutions for answers. They were also good to just look at for a few hours and contemplate.Unfortunately, Vikraahm reasoned their beauty was a sacrifice for harsh weather survival. They probably could not survive in the desert, which made his mood drop slightly, but he quickly shook the thoughts from his head and refocused. He was to be here for the immediate future, and as such he could perhaps have a few of them wherever his residence was. He first needed to learn how to care for them, and without an instructor that would be difficult. 'Is it customary for instructors to be late?' he thought to himself. Punctuality was strictly enforced in his home, but the rules appeared to be different here. Not to mention the class was empty, and he knew there were more students than the lone one he was stuck with. 'This academy is un-disciplined.' he thought to himself. He would have to account for this for his other classes. He would wait for now though, the sky was still raging out and he had time to spare today. If he were lucky, it would stop storming by the time he left. So he resumed his focus on the plants, intent to keep his mind active.

Vikraahm was distracted from his visual study of the flora around him at the sound of the other room inhabitant speaking. It was rather annoying to have his thoughts interrupted as such. He looked over to the male, annoyance in his face, watching as the other person threw his hands up into the air. He was about to speak as he noticed his ink bottle from earlier being carried in his hand, and placed back onto the table, and the male spoke again, complaining about this week. Vikraahm was still annoyed, but his curiosity was peaking, wondering what had happened to make the man so distressed and vocal, but also just wanting him to deal with it. 'If change is desired, he should know to seek it, not talk about it and make no effort.' he thought to himself. He knew he couldn't just tell him to stop, people rarely listened to that, so he had to get him to face his problem head on. He stood up and walked so that he would be in front of the other person. "Everything will. Life is a test. You succeed or you don't. Seek change if you are unsatisfied, do not merely vocalize it. Now what is your current issue so you can face it?" Vikraahm said, his voice unwavering and stern, due to the man not merely fixing his issues and instead opting to complain. He believed that problems needed to be faced head on, as his own problems would not have been fixed if here merely complained and remained weak. Shinshi, at this point, had slipped out from under his scarf and was standing on his shoulder, and was staring at the other person. He made a motion with his claws, as if trying to pinch the man yet being fairly far away, and attempted to look threatening. It only last a few seconds before he returned to a less animated stance. Shinshi's gaze then turned to Vikraahm, and he crawled back under his scarf before Vikraahm could notice.

By the time the new student had crossed the room to stand infront of him, Tala had rested the side of his head across his left arm and picked up his quill - the tip of which he was now using to poke the vine which coiled around the shaft as though trying to first feel out the invading item before attempting to draw it from the youth's hand...

"Wha?" The comment that 'Everything Will' must have been in regards to his own comment about 'What else was going to go wrong' and that certainly wasn't the spark of positivity he'd been looking for... He straightened up, the hand which had been holding the quill withdrawing slightly as he looked up at the man with a questionable glance, "Current issue?" he tilted his head - the guy was speaking in riddles, yet Tala had a good handle on what he was asking, "There's no real issue here," he narrowed his eyes at the plant, drawing his hand away as it proceeded to wrap its vines around the quill, "I guess I'm just a little frustrated, that's all." His eyes would drift towards the scrunched up mess that had been his drawings and he breathed a sigh, hating that he'd spent all that time for it to be destroyed so easily...

Tala then thought of how Henry had snatched a potential new friend from his grasp and left him standing there like an idiot... Making friends was already something he had learnt was a difficult task to accomplish - His past history alone was a good example of that, but after meeting his first possible friend at the academy - someone who was equally as alone in the world - he had been hopeful of an opportunity to change his outlook on life...at least until the guy had then goaded him into scaring another possible ally thus leaving a rift between them...That was all terribly frustrating - but then again, he returned his thoughts back to how useless he would have been once he'd arrived at the Infirmary, or at least as soon as what he was doing had sunk in and he shook his head. He knew he had absolutely no intention on heading back there, just incase they refused to let him go...So what was the loss? In fact, he'd gained time to himself - so that was a bonus, right?

Noticing movement, Tala's gaze would drift towards Vikraahm's shoulder, his eyebrows lifting from their furrowed state as he tilted his head, curious as to what kind of creature it was staring back at him, making threatening motions from the safe distance before scurrying back beneath the male's scarf to hide...

"You've got a little something on your...Hey!" Being momentarily distracted by the strange creature, Tala had completely forgotten about the vine which had taken the time to explore further up the shaft of the quill, wrapping itself around the tightly drawn barbs which left the vane looking quite scruffy - it was when it had finally discovered the soft skin that held the antagonistic item that it decided to investigate further, planting its thorns in Tala's hand and leaving several hairline scrapes across the skin as the male drew away, "Gods be Damned! What is your problem?!" he glared towards the plant, snatching the quill from where it had fallen to the desk before picking up his backpack and moving it to the next table... Of course, getting angry at a plant wasn't going to achieve anything, but moving away from it would - Hey, he'd just solved one of his problems! - that was what the guy was on about right? Facing his issue by moving away from what was causing him such aggro...?

Vikraahm listened to this man's denial of a problem. It was unbecoming to say the least. He insisted there was no issue, yet his complaining and sidelong glances at the vine indicated an entirely different story, his gaze traveling to an almost fully black piece of parchment. He was having trouble finding the correlation until he noticed the vine move, almost with a sentience, and grab a quill. 'The plants in this land can move at will? Strange. Would that mean there are creatures that never move but are alive then...' Vikraahm thought, quickly glancing around to see if there were any statues. This place was making him question everything he took to be natural. And then his mind temporarily drifted to the thought of a moving cactus, and how painful that would be for some people...but also how intriguing that would be. 'Perhaps they would hunt then. Become predators. Or at the least defend themselves.' Vikraahm idly thought. He mentally forced himself away from his internal segment, and refocused on the person in front of him.

As he looked at the man, he noticed his eyes had drifted to his shoulder, and he made a comment about something on his shoulder...Vikraahm's eyes immediately swiveled to his shoulder, but found no sign of Shinshi. He suspected it was him, but not being sure, he turned his attention back to the man, noticing his attention being taken by the vine as they crawled up his arms. He had resorted to louder volume when speaking, as Vikraahm was so close to him. His eyes reflected the annoyance, and he was about to speak when he noticed the man get up and move away from the vine that seemed to be the source of his issues. 'He solved one issue but he is still rather vocal.' Vikraahm realized, though he had a hope solving this problem would convince him to stay quiet. It was not how he would solve the problem, as the vine seemed intent on following him, as he watched it drop to the ground and head towards the man.

The man had only temporarily solved his problems it seemed. Vikraahm would not interfere, as it was this man's issue to face. However, he would head back to his original seat in the room, turning to face his gourd and bags. He took the bags off the top of the gourd and set them down on the seat next to him, before opening the top of the gourd. Should the man be inadequate in solving his issues, he would interfere to set an example for him. Whether it would be interference to hinder or aid him was entirely dependent on the mans approach to solving the issue, and the amount of effort he would put forth. Still, he felt the man should have some warning to his impending trial, if only to make it a fair trial. "Temporary solutions are inadequate. They buy time, but that is all they do." Vikraahm would say, raising his voice so the other man could hear it. His own eyes would be watching the man and the vine, not focusing on either until they made contact. He was refreezing any of the ice that had melted in his gourd, awaiting to see if interference was necessary for this man to learn. Shinshi had come out again at this time, eyes locked on the vine as he started opening and closing his pincers as if signaling the start of a fight.

Once his backpack was safely on another desk, Tala would turn, his initial intention to grin back at the male and extend a hand to show he'd dealt with the problem...but it was during this motion that he noted the vine had in fact disappeared from its pot and with the sound of a soft 'plop' had found its way onto the floor... Naturally, the male would take a step back from the vine, feeling the new desk behind him and now moving around the edge in an attempt to put some distance between them.

Tala's eyes would lift to watch as the stranger now returned to where he had left his things, tilting his head as the guy removed his bags from a large gourd before making a motion over the latter item. Tala wasn't given enough time to mull his actions over however as the vine had now reached his boot and was starting to curl around his ankle. He didn't want to kill the plant - it would look terribly bad if the tutor should make an appearance at that exact moment and see a new student eliminating a seemingly innocent organism...

The comment that 'temporary solutions were often inadequate' made the youth narrow his eyes, clearly this individual was happy to offer riddles, yet content enough not to actually offer constructive suggestions... Tala quickly presumed that the distance which had put between them meant he would have to deal with the plant himself...

Scanning the room for something he might just be able to bring to his aid, Tala would step around the table, initially sliding a chair in the way before retreating a little further as the vine pushed towards him once again... There were shears, but again, he wasn't prepared to destroy something just incase someone - besides the stranger - witnessed it... "Okay, fine." Having not wanted to display his Raiment infront of yet another stranger, Tala frowned, lifting one of his hands and forming a small orb between his fingers before casting it towards the vine.

The plant would retreat slightly, some of its tendrils following the little marble-like object as it rolled past before resuming its creeping pursuit... Having only ever created animals and similar creatures from his shadows, Tala would decide to try something different. Bringing his left hand up alongside his right, he would expand the orb, spreading it out and twisting the shadow around before making it rise, watching as it folded over the vines which would whip round and engage with the strange, shadowy blanket before the black bubble swallowed it whole...

Keeping his attention on the mass, a smirk would cross Tala's lips and he would attempt to reduce the size of the shadows...It would soon become apparent that the plant wasn't impressed with being enclosed and its vines would start to twist and turn within the shrinking orb, reaching a point where it was writhing frantically before finally uncovering a weakness and bleeding out through the gap...

At this point, the plant seemed wrathful, launching a barrage of grasping vines towards the male who threw himself backwards over the final table before upturning it and bracing himself for impact. The force which hit the desk pushed it across the room a little, causing it to collide with one of the book shelves before the vine began reaching round from all angles, searching for the antagonist who had actually managed to scramble out through the gap between the table legs...

Standing a short distance away, Tala watched as the vine engulfed the table before reaching up as though investigating the bookcase behind... This thing was out of control...and it needed to be stopped...

Climbing up onto one of the tables now, he cast a brief glance over towards the stranger, frowning in conclusion that he needed to end this on his own before wondering how far he could fashion his raiment into something new... Forming yet another orb, he opened his palm, hoping to bend the shape into that of a blade which he could then use to cut the plant down... It seemed to work at first, twisting into a cross-like-shape but the stability was questionable and it soon melted in his hands, dripping onto the table...Not good.

It had started to expand further now, its tendrils exploring the bookshelves before branching out around the room, wrapping around tables and chairs in its search for the blood it had obviously tasted after scratching the youth's skin... Something had to be done quickly before it started destroying things... Tala had given up looking towards the stranger now and instead turned his attention back to the shears.

Leaping from table to table, Tala lunged for the tool, jumping down onto the ground which sent vibrations along the vine's sensory roots and turned the plant's attention back towards him... With the first table now in sight, the male closed the distance, opening the shears as he leapt for the base of the vine. With the tendrils now gaining on him, he landed, lining the blade of the shears up with the stem and bringing his hands together.

It seemed for a moment that the vines had reached the male before he'd delivered the blow, falling upon him in a mass... There was a hush, but then they began to recede, thinning out and falling to the floor, revealing the youth who sat up, vines closed in his hands, just in time to watch as they shriveled up into nothing... He still felt bad about killing the thing, but it had gone too far...

"Heh..." Glancing across at the stranger, Tala would smirk, "I'll consider that problem solved, ne?" Sliding from the table, he would set the shears on what he presumed was the tutor's desk before returning for his backpack and pulling it on. "I don't know how they deal with things where you're from, but I hope you found it entertaining..." None of this had been done to entertain of course and Tala's smirk would change to a frown as he turned away, with the male standing across the room the entire time, Tala made it his resolution to add this individual to his growing list of people to disregard as potential allies...

"I think I need a lie down after that." presuming the situation was now at an end, Tala would head for the door, pulling it open before forcing a smirk as he glanced back over his shoulder, "See you around." he would hold two fingers level with his eyebrow before extending his hand out in a salute before taking his leave, grumbling to himself as he made his way up the corridor and away from the classroom...

Vikraahm watched his student deal with this vine, taking particular note of the mans apparent shadow like ability, though it seemed somewhat lacking as a form completely failed to hold and some move on the vine had apparently no effect. The person seemed to harness a dark energy of sort, though Vikraahm was not entirely sure what it specifically was. It was interesting nonetheless though. He watched his student scurry back and forth across the room, dodging away from the vines, until he finally grabbed what appeared to be intertwined metal blade. It was strange, as what seemed to be a mostly harmless plant was now expanding everywhere uncontrolled. 'Is everything that was once safe is now deadly?' Vikraahm thought to himself, the first being the sky and now apparently a aggressive plant. His interest was further peaked on this trial by the aquision of a strange blade, and only further increased as he saw the man dive towards the center of the plant while wielding the blade. Vikraahm was about to aid him, thinking he may have been overeager and overconfident, until he noticed the plants vine and the entire thing shriveling away into nothing. It was an impressive feat to say the least. At the mans asking, Vikraahm nodded, the problem was finally solved now that he faced it head on. He had a confused look when the student mentioned entertaining as that was not the purpose. It was solely for his own growth, so he could learn to deal with life rather than complain. It was the only way for a person to survive. He doubted the student would fully take to it, it required harsh and repeated lessons. He would need to push his student further if he was to learn. Vikraahm placed the top back onto his gourd, sealing the ice inside, and re attached his bags to the top of it. He heard his student mention leaving and exit through the door. He would follow suit, strapping his gourd onto his back. It seemed the teacher and the rest of the class had no intention of coming today, and they were the only ones not informed. He found it annoying, but it had at least been productive in its own way. He had no name for the student, but that was hardly necessary for instruction. All he would need would be to simply attend this class when the time came for it again. As he stood up and headed for the door, he briefly thought of his destination. His dorm was still unavailable last he had heard, so he reasoned he would go back where he had buried his gear and camp there again. He made sure Shinshi was secure under his scarf. constructing a pseudo shelf of ice on that shoulder once he stepped outside to protect him from some of the rain. He heard the sky booming, and hurried back to his camp site, eager to escape the storm. Shinshi, for his part, was content to stay hidden.

Draken had spent most of the day at the infirmary yesterday. Mostly in a corner getting poked and jabbed. Though after he escaped he had skittered back to his dorm to hide under his bed. Yes UNDER the bed rather than the duvet. Even a small meep coming out of his mouth… During the night his dreams were mainly about flickering flames. Screams of the damned. Some would even say hell itself if they didn't know it was just flat memorys.

In the morning he woke with a start as soon as the morning light hit the bed. Though the rain did make that a little later than normal. Beads of sweat rolled down his neck as he scrambled out from under the bed. His clothes a little more disheveled than normal as he started moving out from his room. His first port of call. Somewhere peaceful to sleep some more. With a pillow preferably. As he had stuffed his in his bag.

It took a while for him to find his new ‘resting’ place in the gardens. He had been told they were peaceful. And so far they seemed it. He was the only person there. But the plants where a little... Green… How easily would they burn. The tinge of worry flickering across his mind before he forced himself to relax in a corner. His eyes drifting closed as he tried to stay quiet. Even to the point he slowed his breathing down so it made little noise.

The Tenebraer hadn't really talked to anyone or gone anywhere the previous day, deciding it was cold so it was best to stay in. After having an uneventful day yesterday, Cassandra found herself wandering the Academy halls early in the morning. She wasn't sure what she was searching for... just, exploring, would be the best explanation. She walked around for a good hour after the sun rose, and the rain was falling hard outside. The sound of raindrops relaxed Cassandra, and during her wanderings she looked out the window and saw a large building. Intrigued, she pulled up her hood and walked briskly over to it, curious and determined to discover what this was. She found the doors and pulled them open, revealing a large room full of plants and books.

                                                                                                -Enter Botany Classroom-

Plants covered every possible surface, fron books to Windows to desks. It looked like a library, taken over by plant life. Cassandra noticed a boy in the corner who appeared to be sleeping. Though people weren't always what they appeared. She walked over to him, and said softly,

Draken Jumped a little as he heard a voice, his eyes flickered open his heart rate increased. He even stopped breathing for a split second as he stared at the woman. She seemed cute in a weird way though her eyes seemed to shadow something darker. Slowly draken started dusting himself off before he stood up. His eyes darting to the floor. Or was it to the hem of her dress. Only draken would know!

“ I .. erm.. Yes Madam it is … How… Are you.. “ Drakens words were shaky. He had no clue what to ask or even why she was here. What if he accidentally controlled her mind. Though the question of who she was flashed though his mind before he lifted his right hand “ I am James… It is nice to meet you. What is your name Madam.. And what brought you here...” He blurted out. While the name was a lie he had decided it was safer. Knowledge was power after all. And names where a very important knowledge about some one.

Finding someone with social awkwardness was probably unavoidable in a school with this many people. At least he was polite, Cassandra respected that. She realized he was probably trying to be alone, most likely an introvert if he was tucked away in the corner of the Greenhouse. He firsted asked how Cassandra was doing, then puts his hand out to shake and introduces himself as James. Cassandra had her silk gloves on as per usual, so it wasn't much of a problem to shake James' hand. He then asked her who she was and what brought her here, simple questions that would be easy to answer.
