Gannon was enjoying his lemon cookie immensely and watched as Elohari looked at it like it was a foreign object. The fact that she didn’t know what a ‘cookie’ was made him wonder just how far she’d traveled, or wandered, to get to Eoana. While she looked skeptical that the round, thick disc could be considered food, when she bit into it, her whole face seemed to light up.

Smiling wide, he chuckled a bit, amused by her reaction. He loved sweet treats and found that he enjoyed trying new ones whenever he could. The Bakery in the City was one of his favorite places to visit – they had some of the best desserts around – but Kayne’s treats were amazing as well. A bit distracted, watching Elohari’s reaction as she continued to nibble the cookie, he was caught a bit off guard as Kayne moved close to whisper to him. Eyes going a bit wide, he felt his cheeks heat in a blush. How did everyone know about him and Lerato and how the heck did Kayne know they were having issues? Were they having issues? This was not Gannon’s area of expertise. In any case, Kayne felt the need to make the offer to treat them to a date to reconcile.

Swallowing a bit, all he could do was nod in silence as Kanye offered another friendly smile and a small bag of cookies for his students to enjoy. <<’Well, he’s not wrong…’>> Brageet said with a bit of amusement as they watched Kayne walk away and head to the next classroom. <<’I don’t disagree, but how did he know? Does everyone know?’>> He knew the gossip had a tendency to spread, but he’d never been involved in it, not like this. He didn’t know how he felt about the whole Academy knowing his business…

However, he didn’t have time to contemplate on that before he heard Elohari’s inquiry. Surprised by her tone, he looked over at her with a bit of a dazed expression. Was she…upset? Her body language, her words, her tone, they all told him that she wasn’t herself. But he couldn’t tell if she was sad, irritated, disappointed or a combination of the three.

Brageet said with a bit of amusement. <<’Although…I do have to wonder why she’d be interested in you…You aren’t the friendliest person. It took Lerato years to develop feelings for you.’>> She pointed out, matter-of-factly. Frowning for a moment, he shifted his shoulder, silently telling Brageet to ‘hold her beak’.

Clearing his throat, he shifted in an uncomfortable manner as he tried to think of what to say or do. He avoided people for a reason – they were much too complicated. “Uhm…well, I guess you could say that its… ‘complicated’?” Even to his ears his sounded uncertain and a bit confused, but he was. He and Lerato had had one date together, one full day of interaction. The last he’d seen of Lertao, he’d stormed off after Tala had been attacked. Why Lerato had been so irritated with the student, he didn’t know. In any case, he didn’t know if he was courting someone or if he’d merely had a lovely day with a friend, who happened to have deep feelings for him.

“What I mean to say is…There is someone who has feelings for me, but I am unsure of where we stand.” It was a simple, direct and truthful answer. He didn’t know if it would help ease Elohari’s mood or agitate it, but in any case, he was opening up to her as she’d requested the day prior. “In any case, only time will tell what the future brings.” He offered her a small, warm and friendly smile as he looked at her. He didn’t like seeing her upset, especially when she had been so excited and happy just minutes before.

-Enter Lelyna & Willow into the Diviner Classroom-

After a quick stop at the kitchen for a light breakfast, Lelyna and Willow slowly made their way through the hall toward the Diviner Classroom. As a third-year student, Lelyna was well known by the Professors. Because she was blind and frequently needed help getting to class, anyone that helped her to or from her classes, was excused from being tardy. As such, it meant that she and Willow didn’t have to rush and Willow wouldn’t get in trouble for arriving late to her Celebrar Class – Ezra knew they were roomies and often saw them together before and after classes.

Approaching the Diviner classroom, she smelled lemon cookies, Gannon’s unique smell and a new comer. Sniffing the air, Lelyna hummed in appreciation. The new person's scent was fresh, floral and a little foreign, but in a good way. If she had to guess, she would say that Gannon’s current companion was female - which was very interesting. All the students knew that Gannon was only their temporary teacher, so she had to wonder if the woman standing at his side was their new Diviner Professor.

“Good Morning Professor Noble.” She greeted with a warm smile. Turning her head toward Gannon’s companion she smiled as well, inclining her head in a small nod. “Good morning to you as well.” Turning toward Willow, she squeezed her roommates hand lightly before letting it go. “Thank you for walking me to class, Willow. Have a good day in class.” Hugging her friend lightly, she turned her attention back toward Gannon and his guest.

Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer

Probability || None
Kayl and Mikhail enter from the courtyard...

                              ╔═══════════════════

If the look on Kayl's face could tell a story, it would say that he was in for a wild ride at the sound of Mikhail's words when he repeated 'Diabolical plans'. He already knew that meeting with Mikhail was going to bring untold adventures back into what had almost became a quiet life, but there was a certain twisted mischief in his tone. However when Mikhail started speaking of bringing Kayl to his class, Kayl's eyebrow rose slightly and he took in a slight breath of surprise before shaking his head and following Mikhail to the classroom. 'Do the right thing?' Kayl thought suspiciously as the last of words that he'd never thought he would hear come out of Mikhail's mouth were spoken. At least until he spoke again. Not wanting to do something because someone else could? Ya... that was good old Mikhail.

Still, it was odd seeing him act a bit more responsibly. Perhaps his time away from Valor influenced him some, or maybe it was this place. After all, this was the man who tricked Kayl into bringing a gift to his sister Catherine, and then played it off as if the gift was from Kayl, even though he thought he was taking it to her on Mikhail's behalf. It took nearly a week to convince her he wasn't trying to woo her, especially since the gift was one of her favorite dishes. The last straw came when the King summoned him to the castle to size him up as a possible suitor! He wasn't even sure how Mikhail pulled that nonsense off, and honestly, Kayl couldn't remember a time that he hit anyone harder...

Shaking his head as he shook off the memory and came upon the classroom, Kayl grumbled lightly before reaching out and grabbing the bag that Mikhail had slung over his shoulder. He pulled it back to stop Mikhail in his tracks, pulling him almost backwards as he leaned in close to his 'dear friend'. "I still owe you one you know..." Was all Kayl said to him as he narrowed his eyes and took his bag from Mikhail before stepping into the classroom. He was so focused on Mikhail and his past antics, that he nearly bumped into a couple of fellow students who were close to the main door. "Oh!... Excuse me," Kayl said to the girls before bowing lightly towards them. He nodded at Willow first apologetically, and the looked from Willow to Lelyna for a brief moment as he noted that her eyes were closed and that even after a moment she did not opened them at all to look in his direction. His eyes narrowed for a split second in thought as the realization came to him, and before he stepped away he ended up nodding towards her sub-consciously anyway. After zeroing in on the most teacher-like presence in the room, Kayl stepped in front of Gannon and bowed lower then normal respectfully. "Forgive me for intruding, but I am new to the academy, and I was told to check in with my teacher. Are you the Diviner teacher?"

Elohari was a special woman whom truly lived on the edge of the earth. Small luxuries such as cookies were new and exciting. Where she was from you made everything yourself, including housing. Early in the morning you'd fetch some fresh water from rivers, boil it on a fire, and begin the days cooking. Bread.... better yet yeast, flour, wheat, all of that was foreign to her. She grew up in an area where the forest was lush with fruits. She would have to ask further, once free, on what exactly a cookie was and how to make some. It was delightful! Elohari was like a child in a candy shop right now, completely pure and innocent to this world.

The whole interaction between the Chef and Gannon was fast and rather akward, Gannon himself looked terrified for a moment. Elohari stared at the two confused and yet... somehow hurt? She couldn't help but fum for a moment, allowing her emotions to take over before really understanding the whole interaction. When she inquired, he seemed dazed, confused. Was it such a while question to ask or was there more? Her eyes wafted between the two who seemed to be having conversations with each other. Eventually, he would clear his throat and shift, obviously uncomfortable. She attempted to relax, show she meant no harm, however she was curious now.

Confused was the right emotion right now. Elohari narrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head in wonder. How could a relationship be complicated? Did they not talk? How is that a thing? In her land courting was a very serious thing and always ended with a lifelong mate. Marriage was full of love and pureness, something Elohari had wanted from someone. To give oneself away to another, accept them for their flaws, and truly be there for them with everything... it was beautiful. Her head would turn toward a few students entering only to be redirected once Gannon spoke again. She smiles softly, a very tiny and charming one. "Thank you.." she spoke softly and quite, not allowing others to hear her sweet words besides Gannon.

Students began to approach the classroom finally. The first was two, though only one would stay. Elohari perked up and smiled beautifully at the student and offer a hello before she said goodbye to her friend. Another student had managed to sneak into the classroom, quiet and reserved. Elohari looked at Taenya and glanced at her shy appearance. It was once an empty classroom but now buzzed with students whom fluttered in. The last rather loud one made his apperance known to just about everyone in the room. Elohari kept silent during all of the students enterances, eyeing her new class. They all seemed rather interesting, Elohari was excited.

Gannon was relieved to see Elohari perk up a bit at his words and the arrival of the students. He didn’t know why her getting upset like that had startled him so much or why he felt bad about it, but for now, he needed to focus on the task at hand. Turning his attention to Lelyna and Willow as they arrived, he smiled and inclined his head to them both at the greeting. “Good Morning Lelyna, Willow.” Lelyna could make it to and from classes by herself, but it took time for her to navigate the halls blind, so it wasn’t uncommon for her roommate and friend Willow to escort her. Mikhail was another student that liked to escort her to class – and speaking of the Devil, he seemed to be escorting another student toward the classroom.

Curious, he watched as Mikhail’s distracted acquaintance nearly ran into Lelyna, who stood just inside the doors. Reaching out to aid her, lest she fall, he was relieved to see that Lelyna, despite the small bump, was steady on her feet. The poor girl had enough troubles as it was – she didn’t need another trip to the infirmary.

Turning his attention to the boy who’d nearly run into Lelyna, he frowned a bit. However, it didn’t seem the boy was a troublemaker, like someone. Glancing at Mikhail, he arched a brow, wondering if this lad was going to be one of his ‘partners in crime’, as it were.

“Oh, Yes. You must be Kayl De’Valaer. I am Gannon Noble, one of the Court Mages that oversees the Academy. As of this moment, I am acting as the temporary Diviner Professor as well.” He stated evenly. Noting Kayl’s bags, it seemed that he was fresh off the boat, or carriage, or both.

“Why don’t you come inside and have a seat, Kayl. After your first lesson, we’ll get you a dorm room. If I’m not mistaken, Mr. Warsong is currently in need of a roommate.” He said with a small smirk. ‘How convenient…’ Gannon thought with a bit of amusement and a bit of trepidation – he could only imagine what shenanigans Mikhail would get Kayl into during his time here.

Gesturing inside the classroom, he waited for Kayl to step forward before looking back toward Mikhail, who looked like he was lingering for a chance to speak with Lelyna, who had yet to head inside to take her seat. “Thank you for bringing Kayl to class, Mikhail.” At that moment Lelyna stepped forward as if to say something to Mikhail. Shaking his head a bit, he moved inside the classroom to leave the two alone for a moment.

Walking toward the front of the class, he opened the little bag of cookies and went around to each student, making sure they each received one, taking care to leave one for Lelyna to enjoy once she was done speaking with Mikhail. He gave her a few minutes before calling out to her to come back inside.

“Lelyna, it’s time to begin.” He knew he didn’t have to tell her twice. Unlike some students, she was very studious and attentive. He had to wonder how someone as sweet, gentle and fragile as her had made friends with one of the Academy’s biggest troublemakers, The Prince of Valor.

The walk to the classroom wasn't too far and quite silent. It wasn't one of those odd, awkward silences that Mikhail dreaded. It was more like a comfortable silence as the two friends neared the class. As they approached, the extremely lightweight on Mikhail's shoulder had gone away. It caused him to stop and glance back at Kayl who had taken away the bag that he was carrying. His brow rose as he heard Kayl mentioned that he still owed him and proceeded to walk ahead. Noticing that Kayl was about to run into two other students he called to him, but luckily Kayl hadn't made too much of an impact. Noticing the one he bumped into was Lelyna, he automatically walked toward them, stopping a few feet near Professor Noble as he introduced himself. The prince nodded toward the older male in greeting and grinned when he mentioned that he was still in need of a roommate. ”Would you look at that K, you could be stuck with me for a while~ Enjoy your time away from me, be a good boy~” Mikhail let out a small chuckle at Kayl's expression before the male went inside the classroom. The prince stole glances at Lelyna in hopes that he could maybe have a quick word with her before she left for class. He was so focused on her that he had barely paid attention to what Professor Noble had said. ”Huh? Oh yeah. Sure....” Mikhail noticed Lelyna stepping toward him, and Professor Noble stepping in his class to leave them alone. This was why he liked the diviner. He was a nice guy, and could take a hint, unlike some.

Mikhail stepped toward the smaller girl and cleared his throat, ”Good Morning Lelyna,” his voice as he spoke to her wasn't as harsh or serious, it was quite calm and slightly softer. ”Are you alright? Hopefully Kayl didn't bump into you too hard...” Running a hand through his hair, he looked around the hall, trying to figure out the right thing to say or mention. ”I apologize for not being able to walk you to class. I trust that you had a nice time spending time with another one of your friends instead at least...” The male listened to the female as she spoke, giving her all of his attention. After a few minutes, Professor Noble called out to them to let them know that Lelyna needed to head into class, so he could begin his lesson. Sighing, he turned his attention back to Lelyna and took her hand. ”I'll pick you up from class later alright?” Lifting her delicate hand up, he placed a kiss on it and grinned. ”Enjoy class, don't miss me too much either~” Mikhail chuckled at her reaction as she walked inside the classroom. The prince opened the door slightly and whistled to Gannon. Giving him a neutral expression, he mouthed a small 'thank you', before giving him one more nod and walking away.

Lelyna didn’t need to hear Mikhail’s voice to know he’d arrived. Lelyna could predict who was approaching by their smell and the sound of their footsteps – some people walked faster or heavier than others. Mikhail had a very distinct gate that always gave him away. As he stepped closer to her, she smiled a bit as he cleared his throat and wished her a good morning. Unlike how he usually talked to the other students, Mikhail’s tone was always softer when he spoke to her – there had only been one time he’d been harsh with her, and that was first time they’d met.

During her first year at the Academy, Lelyna had been walking down the hallway on her way to class when she and Mikhail collided, literally. They’d run into one another head first. Lelyna had nearly fallen to the ground, but Mikhail had caught her before she could fall. His first words to her had been, ‘Watch where you're going, not everyone's gonna just save you from falling...’ She’d been so startled, that she’d opened her eyes to reveal them to the person holding her. ‘I would have, if I could…thank you for catching me though.’ Had been her reply. Mikhail had seemed flustered by her reply and her eyes, but he’d softened a bit toward her. ‘Well.... what I said still stands true. So...I’ll catch you I guess.’ Lelyna had blushed a bit at his words, unsure as to what to say in reply to that. Instead of thinking too hard on it, she’d smiled and said, ‘Thank you…’ To which he’d cleared his throat, as if nervous and said, ‘Don't think too much of it though…’ They’d been friends ever since. Mikhail had started by walking her to class if he happened to run into her. Then he’d sought her out. Eventually they’d begun talking and getting to know one another. Now, two years later, she was one of the Prince's few friends, surprisingly.

Mikhail’s words drew her out of the memory with a smile. “Oh, I’m fine, promise.” Given how he was shifting, he seemed a bit nervous, which wasn’t very odd – as of late, he’d been acting more and more nervous around her. Smiling at his words, she shook her head a bit. “I did, Willow was kind enough to walk me to class this morning. But I am curious as to who your friend is.” Mikhail wasn’t one to have many friends – he was a bit brash when it came to others – so she was curious as to who he’d brought with him. She was tempted to ask him, but knew there would plenty of time for that later, after class.

Before much else could be said, she heard Gannon call out to her. Turning her head to the side, she nodded, silently acknowledging that she’d heard him. As Mikhail reached for her hand, she turned her attention back to him, angling her face up, her eyes went a bit wide as she felt his slip his hand into hers. Mikhail often took her hand to lead her somewhere, but as she was already at her class, she had to wonder what he was up to. As he raised her hand to his lips and kiss her knuckles, she felt her cheeks heat in a blush, her eyes going even wider with surprise. “O-Okay…” Smiling at his words, she shook her head a bit. “No, you don’t miss me too much.” Turning for the door, she slipped her hand out of his slowly before heading inside and to her usual seat. Hearing a whistle behind her, she knew Mikhail was signaling someone, but who she didn’t know. Unbeknownst to her, Gannon caught Mikhail’s gaze and gave him a small, knowing smile and a nod before placing the last lemon cooking on Lelyna’s desk for her to enjoy.

tab There were few things Atria hated more than mornings, most notably being wrong, but that particular morning had already been a rough one. She hadn't slept well, kept awake by a mixture of the stars and the fact that she was late on several of her assignments already, and not to mention that her stomach was rumbling louder than the bang of a misfired raiment. The girl had a particularly bad habit of forgetting to eat, but boy was she beginning to regret it now. As Atria waltzed into class, her stomach growled at the smell of cookies pervading the air. Automatically, her silver eyes flashed as she focused on the source of the smell, the sharp call to attention quite different than her normal blank stares. In fact, upon searching for the cookies she realized something else, the normal Diviner teacher had a companion now, a strange looking woman who Atria sensed was wild and free. 'Interesting...' she thought, a low hum escaping her lips before she sat herself down, her sharp eyes focusing on the woman as she tried to see if she could glean anything interesting from her manner.

tab She seemed well-traveled, that was for sure, although the girl wasn't sure if she was even native to the two kingdoms. In fact, it instead seemed like this woman had traveled through wilds, not so much through cities. Which, Atria could find relatable. Nature was far more relaxing and yielding than man, and the thought of running away into the forest both amused and enticed Atria. After all, the forest yielded more of the night sky than the towns did, and she'd be able to look up and up and up for as long as she wanted... It was a comforting thought, and Atria became lost in it, once again focusing on the future and ignoring the present.

-Enter Sokea accidentally arriving into the Diviner Classroom-

Every attempt to lock on to Professor Smythe's vision resulted in failure. Late professor's are always fun, a break from class is always nice; although Sokea technically skipped class last time. Arriving at the door he thought was the Celebrar classroom, he entered quite meekly; he didn't want to bring much attention to himself. Sokea scanned the room with his ears, all voices he didn't recognize. Was he in the right room? Then again, he didn't talk to or pay attention to anyone in his class besides the professor. He felt the presence of a few people in the class, wondering who they were. Damn... I really should've tapped a few people in my class, this is going to be annoying... Of course, Sokea could do the same thing he did to the professor to one of the students, alas he didn't want people to catch on to how he establishes his link quite yet. For now, he'll wait for Ezra to arrive and start class.

Before he headed to find a seat, he started to daydream a bit. It was difficult to keep his mind off of Gin, that man was so... everything. Every aspect, every string of his personality is woven into this beautiful complexity of a truly amazing being. Sokea felt as if his heart was a compass beating in Gin's direction, and most would kill for this feeling of happiness, alas it comes with feelings of confusion and anxiety. Is it okay to feel this way again? Is this not just an attachment issue? Only time will answer these questions, and time likes to take its... well... time, which was quite rude of time. If time was a person, Sokea would given them a mouthful of vehement rage, time doesn't treat people very fairly, and is a slow and painful healer, and killer. Now wasn't the time to dwaddle on such thoughts, it was time to find a seat.

He found a row to sit find a place a sit and glided his fingers along the desks that he past by to find a proper seat. He wanted a good view that didn't bring too much attention to himself. As soon as he felt someone's warmth, Sokea stopped in his tracks, and decided it was best to take his seat now. Sitting next to someone didn't seem so bad; Sokea couldn't rely only his beloved Gin for friendship. Another friend with a likewise raiment would help establish a friendship. He sat down next to this person, who happened to be Lelyna, while Sokea was unknowing of that. He could be next to a man or woman for all he knew. Turning his head towards his "classmate", he softly asked, "Excuse me, do you know when the professor will be here? Precious time is ticking away and I can consciously feel my heart beat while I'm not focused on something. I wouldn't know if you knew what that was like, but it can be quite frustrating at times."

Following Ganon's suggestion, Kayl started to step into the room as Ganon mentioned getting him settled into the dorms. He wasn't surprised to hear that Mikhail didn't have a dormmate, and wouldn't be surprised if the reason was because no one wanted to be. He could be an unruly person, always causing mischief and putting people off. For a brief moment Kayl smirked lightly at the thought. 'We're already going to the same school, now they want us in the same dorm? This school is in trouble...' He thought with a chuckle as he placed his belongings in the back of the room, in a corner out of sight from the class. As Kayl took a seat and looked back towards the doorway, he had a short double take as he saw Mikhail speaking with the girl with the closed eyes without making her cry. 'What...?'

Watching them for a moment, Kayl was actually impressed. He leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms across his chest as they said their goodbyes, and after Mikhail left, peacefully I might add, Kayl turned his head in a brief turn of thought, and then shrugged before sitting up in his seat and looking to Ganon while preparing for the days events. As he waited for the class to begin, Kayl wondered what kind of lessons were even taught in this academy. Were there basic academic teachings? Were there lesson plans involving the existence of raiments? If so to what extend did they discuss raiments? Did they go over the known history of the world with regards to raiments? Or was this simply a training grounds for existing raiments.... One thought after another after another followed as he thought about what to expect. As his thoughts bounced back and forth, for a moment Kayl caught himself looking in the direction of the girl with closed eyes. His thoughts had started to veered back to Mikhail, speaking in what seemed like such a friendly way with this girl, and he couldn't help but wonder. Was this a new Mikhail? Did he mature in his few years here at the academy? Or was it the girl. If it was the girl, was it because he liked to be the knight in shining armor? Or was there something particular about her... As his thoughts continued to veer off, Kayl looked down at the desk and sighed lightly. Years had passed while he was stuck at home, years! Kayl knew that there would be differences as they aged, and he didn't know what to expect. But after being surprised this much by Mikhail, he wondered just how much changed, and how much stayed the same.

Gannon looked up at the sound of Mikhail’s whistle. Smirking a bit, he returned the boys nod before Mikhail vanished from sight, closing the door behind him. He had to wonder what the unruly Prince was up to. He knew that Mikhail treated Lelyna with great care, and they shared a deep friendship and understanding, but still, he was curious.

Looking around the class, he was happy to see Atria take a seat. The girl seemed curious about Elohari, which was a good sign. Passing her desk, he placed a cookie in front of her to enjoy. As he made the rounds again, he was surprised to see Sokea seated in the classroom. Confused for a moment, he had to wonder if the boy had wandered into the wrong classroom, he was blind after all. He was further surprised to see that Sokea was seated next to the one student he could relate to most in the entire school; Lelyna. Shaking his head a bit he wondered if he should take Sokea to the Celebrar classroom. After a moment of contemplation, he decided it wouldn’t hurt for Sokea to sit in on the lesson for the day.

Gannon made sure Sokea and Kayl had cookies as well before heading to the front of the class to begin the lesson. Coming to stand next to Elohari, he looked at each of the students in turn before speaking. “Good morning, everyone. I would like to introduce you to our guest, Ms. Elohari Mehra. Today, she will be leading the class in our lesson. Ms. Mehra has applied to be the next Diviner Professor and because she has the possibility of being your teacher, I felt it was necessarily for you to meet her and see if she would be a suitable fit for your class.” He explained evenly before looking to Elohari.

“I have every confidence that Ms. Mehra will intrigue all of you and provide a unique perspective on Diviner Raiments. I will let her tell you a bit about herself as I am sure you’re all curious…” That being said, Gannon stepped to the side to give Elohari the floor, as it were. He was curious to see how she would handle not only a new student, but also a wayward one on her first day.

Man fluttered in and out of the classroom in such a fast-paced atmosphere, something Elohari wasn't use to. Seeming overwhelmed for a moment, her eyes took in everyone and everything as much as possible. She didn't speak quite yet, but eyed and studied everyone entering, leaving, and everything in between. By the time it was time to start class, Gannon was the one to call everyone to attention. Elohari broke her stare on the class and glanced upwards toward Gannon, keen on his words. He would at first-hand everyone in the class the sweet treat called a cookie. She believed he called it a 'lemon cookie'. Having already finished hers, rather quickly, Elohari watched as everyone else received one, eager to see their own reactions.

And then he stood beside Elohari, calling attention to her and him. She tilted her head upwards, fixing her lax posture to a more poised one, nose straight, eyes glancing between the silent class. She clasped her black inked hands against her stomach, taking small breaths as Gannon gave a small introduction to her. And when he stepped to the side, Elohari didn't speak for a few seconds, instead took a step forward and offered a small smile "As dear Gannon mentioned, I am Elohari Hehra." Her voice was slow, soft, and somehow calming. She took a slow breath in, eyes continuing to survey everyone "I come from a secluded region so I do speak.... odd." her eyes would narrow slightly to the last word, her dialect obvious. "I ventured for some year," she turned her head to look at the windows "following a path set since born. Here I stand, continuing the path." She smiled, flashing her white to the grow before it began to fall into a small smirk.

"I am new to this region... to this world." her eyes moved back to the classroom "Forgive me for the struggles I might encounter over certain... subjects." she gestured toward the class "You all will teach the same as I to you." a small nod to reassure those whom might be confused. "I would like any confusion or questions to be asked now." Her hands brought back to her waist, her gown moving slowly with her "Fear not the answer or question. I am but an open book for you to read." She opened herself to the classroom, wishing them to ask questions of just who the hell their new possible professor might be.

She wore dreads that somehow looked like a crown around her head, decorated with gold beads in random places. Her choice of fashion was vastly different that everyone in the classroom. Bearing a glorious gown that was decorated with gold stitching, hand decorated might I add. Fabrics mixed some sheer others cotton. The cape she wore seemed to cover the skin that might be exposed, something she'd probably have to do thanks to her fashion is rather revealing. The oddest form of her was probably her sheer black hands that were detailed with gold rings. If her hands were turned, palms facing forward, everyone would note another tattoo of an eye inside her palm. Makeup was a new thing in this region, something Elohari knew nothing about yet her skin was flawless and practically glowing. In particular was her eyes that bore youthful puffiness, despite her growing age. All in all... she was odd in comparison to most, not all, but most. And soon many would become even more curious, intrigued, possibly worried about just who the hell this woman was.

As she awaited others to speak up, question Elohari, she took a further detailed eval on her students. There was a young dark haired male, Kayl. He seemed to be on a pedestal, appearance wise. He bore a striking feature, red eyes. He was new, somewhat hidden away, however, leaned in on his desk, he was curious. Elohari was hopeful he'd take a liking to her, then again she thought that about everyone.

Her eyes caught another red-eyed child, this time, however... different. 'Blind..?' her eyes narrowed slightly at the young child. She could see his brain struggling to familiarize into the surroundings. She remembered him speaking up and boldly about the fact class had not started yet. Impatient indeed. Perhaps he was lost and hadn't realized he walked into the wrong classroom, Gannon didn't seem too worried, so she did not fret as well. Well, she wasn't one to fret anyway. Elohari gladly invited guests into her classroom.

One that dazled her eyes was a stary child, Atria. She had sunk into the classroom without much of a word. The young women bore beauty that in he region, people would pray upon. She seemed irritated, possibly tired? Eloahri offered the charming young women a soft smile. Atria seemed to be in the stars... a star child.

Lelyna was next. The child was promising. Elohari could tell obviously she was in fact blind. Just what would her raiment be? She was indeed a curious child but Elohari had a warm feeling that builds within her chest. This child,
must like Atria, gave Eloahri a feeling she did not know yet. Her eyes were dull, but her soul on fire.

Lastly was a student much like Atria, snuck in without much of a word. Another elegant young lady who had a charm to her, perhaps unknown to her yet. Taenya was a shy rose, something Eloahri would love to see bloom.
No matter how long it took to water, surely Taenya would blossom into the beautiful rose she always was, but hadn't figured out yet.

This class was promising, Elohari thought to herself. Her heart soared, giving her passion she hadn't had in quite some time. Indeed this was the place for her. This was her path, regardless if others didn't think so. If she didn't make it through this interview... well she wasn't sure what would become of her future. Already she had fallen in love with these students, the classroom,
the academy, and possibly another. Eloahri glanced over at Gannon with eyes of wonder and amazement.

The first thing Lelyna noticed after taking her seat was that someone had left a lemon cookie on her desk. Recognizing the smell from before, and the fact that it was all around the room, she smiled to herself. It seemed someone had been kind enough to make cookies for everyone – it was truly a thoughtful gesture and one she appreciated. Taking a bite of the cookie, she hummed in satisfaction, savoring the taste. Lelyna truly enjoyed sweet treats and with her heightened sense of taste, she was able to savor things all the more.

Caught up in her little treat, Lelyna was caught a bit off guard by Sokea’s arrival. Keeping her eyes closed, she turned in his direction to offer him a warm, friendly smile as she swallowed her bite of cookie. She was a bit confused by his question, as Gannon had already arrived, but decided to answer him anyway. Leaning a bit closer to whisper, as to not disturb the class that had begun to quiet down for the lesson, she smiled.

“Professor Noble is already here. So, class should begin shortly. You must be new, I’m Lelyna.” Offering him her hand, she smiled in a friendly way. “And yes, I do know what that feels like, I feel it constantly While the sensation of one’s own heart beat was something that people only noticed when it was beating rapidly, Lelyna felt it all the time. After losing her eyesight, her other senses heightened to a very sensitive level, and thus, something that she hadn’t noticed before, became noticeable. Luckily for her, it was one way to tell if her raiment was affecting her negatively – the heart was a sensitive thing, in more ways than one, and it was smart to listen to it…For example, when Mikhail had kissed her hand, her heartbeat had accelerated quite a bit.

As Gannon began to speak, introducing the woman he’d been standing beside earlier, Lelyna turned her attention toward the front of the class. With her eyes still closed, she listened intently as the woman spoke. Her accent was indeed unique and unlike any that she’d ever heard before. Her manner of speaking was odd, but not in a way that was off-putting, at least not to her.

Lelyna found that she liked the idea of a teacher learning from them, as they would learn from her. It told her that even though Elohari might be a Professor and in a position to teach, that she herself was still learning – this meant an open mind and an open heart. Smiling to herself, she found that she was eager to learn from the woman. Taking a chance, Lelyna opened her eyes and directed them toward the front of the class where she knew Elohari would be standing. She had to wonder if the woman would be unsettled by the sight of Lelyna’s dull, grey, unfocused eyes, or if she would wonder what other attributes her future student had to offer. Leylna knew first hand, that you couldn’t judge a book by its cover or assume anything of anyone…

Sokea tilted his head, Professor Noble? The Court Mage? This must be the diviner classroom. Such a shame that Sokea didn't just wander into the Shifter classroom... The thought warmed Sokea's beating heart. This girl, Lelyna, peaked Sokea's interest when she did, in fact, know what it's like to be aware of one's own beating heart. It was gentle yet forceful, sending gentle vibrations through the rib cage which hugged the lungs. The feeling seems quite sensational at first, but after a while, it's more like "Yeah I get it, you're there." Sokea heard Lelyna motion her arm or hand of some sort, but he assumed she was pointing to the professor, not shaking a hand, because most people usually catch on that Sokea's unfocused unusual eyes indicated that he was blind.

"No wonder the language of the air felt different, I swore it was playing tricks on me. Having eyes that don't work and work yet don't want to when they hurt puts me in the most precarious places. I'm Sokea by the way, nice to meet you." Sokea smiled gently, his tongue twisters were his favorite to say to people; they rolled off his tongue quite fluidly.

Lelyna's claim was reestablished when the court mage began to speak, stating that there may be a new professor for the course, which seems highly reasonable and likely due to the fact that the current professor was a court mage, and had other duties to attend to. Sokea didn't want to wander the halls again, so he decided it was best to stay. Knowledge on the Diviner raiments should prove valuable, knowing your healers and supports in battle is necessary. Sokea was already aware of that tactic, but a refresher was always nice.

Sokea listened intently on Elohari's words. Her voice was quite... different. Every word she spoke seemed thought out and articulated, as if she planned them in advance, but not as if she learned them by rote. Interesting, to say the least. This level of professionalism slightly coincided with the Celebrar Professor in a strange way. They were both unique and very... adult-like. Sokea hopes that his humorous light never dulls into whatever these teacher's candles were doused in. As the guest professor finished her speech, Sokea had a carriage full of questions to ask, alas he didn't know if it was appropriate for him to ask since he was technically not a part of the Diviner class. He waited patiently for someone else to take the offer.

Tay would be offered a biscuit to which she took gratefully. What was once a calm and serene class soon became chaotic for Tay, many faces were new to her and without a friend she knew found her self quite lost within the faces, the new recruited teacher would look at her as well as the other students as she introduced herself to the whole class, she looked quite the natural and exotic beauty.
Tay felt overwhelmed as well as intrigued by the new faces, however one face among them would stick out, one that made her feel vulerneralbe and uncomfortable, the blind boy that had once caused her to cry, thankfully she was practically at the back of the class seated like a wallflower, Raven hair would frame her amber brown hues, dressed in pastel pink she did resemble a delicate flower what with her youthful features one would have mistaken her as a student coming of age, nervously Tay would raise her hand in a bold effort to ask on what they would be studying today.
Of course with a mouthful of lemon cookie in her mouth, it would have been awkward to speak, her eyes would again stare at Sokea and would hope the lesson would go well so she could escape and avoid the butterflies rising in her stomach from her fear of a repeat of what had happened before. Looking from Sokea to Gannon and the exotic lady El she would swallow her mouthful to finally speak " W-what is the topic of the lesson today? "
