Cyrus Marshall ~ Winter Solstice Festival ~
Cyrus's expression would flicker with curiosity as Accaria mentioned his words sounded like a proposal, then he smiled, "Well, it always could be," he would chuckle as Accaria blushed pink at his words, it made him happy to hear she would keep him for as long as she was of the living and as long as he continued to breathe, he felt the same.
As they rose, he would hold her hand right until their touch broke apart at the fingertips as Accaria went for her furs, then, with a smile he would fold his arms across his chest and watch until she returned. With her back at his side Cyrus would place a gentle hand upon her back, then grab his own coat which he would pull on before reaching for the door. He knew he wouldn't need the extra layer as he would soon have his own fur to keep him warm, but took it purely for just incase.
The cold air was bracing, but this just brought them closer together as Cyrus walked with his arm around her. They would only walk so far before the male paused, taking off his coat which he would hand to her as an extra layer before taking on his Shifter form. As the chill settled across him, he would shake out his fur before advancing towards Accaria and resting his head against her hip - This of course was an invitation for her to climb on and he would lie down so she could do so with ease, then, once she was settled, he would rise, circling around once so she could get a feel for the motion before starting off at a gradual pace.
He would take a steady walk around the surroundings, not straying too far towards the remnants of the festival, but more in the direction of the quieter, less populated areas; his ears listened constantly to the world around him, flicking back occasionally to listen should Accaria have anything to say before returning to their natural direction.
As he was in his shifter form, he could not speak back to her with anything more than soft rumbles and acknowledging growls, but he was content that they were together and that made all the difference.
Had it not been so cold, Cyrus might have taken Accaria further, or perhaps found somewhere out of the way for them to pause and enjoy the tranquility, but eventually, the time would arrive to turn back for home and the Tiger would circle back towards the Pharmacy. When they arrived, Cyrus would remain in his form, pausing just long enough to allow Accaria to dismount at her choosing before sitting down.

...Did he have anywhere he needed to be today?
Cyrus lay beside Accaria, a warm blanket draped loosely over his bare chest and his arm wrapped affectionately around his love, he had of course been awake for only a few minutes, so sleep was still heavy on his mind, but for the moment, he just took in the peace and quiet, watching as his love slept soundly beside him.
Even though it had been cold, the Tiger had tempted her up onto the roof where they had watched the stars as they crossed the clear skies above. He wasn't sure entirely what the weather was up to that morning and in all honesty, he couldn't have cared, he was warm, he was happy and he certainly wasn't alone.
Eventually, the time would come where he realised he needed to move, the arm that had cradled the female so protectively was now getting tingly as what had once been comfortably numb was slowly coming back into life... Wincing, yet moving carefully so not to disturb her, Cyrus would retrieve his arm and slip ever so quietly from the pile of pillows upon which they'd crashed for the night.
Not wanting Accaria to get cold, Cyrus would draw the blanket carefully around her before heading for the bathroom to take a quick wash and then dress for the day. He wasn't entirely sure where Captain Reynard would want him that day, but he wanted to at least look presentable.
Making his way back into the room, careful to have dried his long hair off beforehand, Cyrus made his way back to where he'd left Accaria sleeping before leaning across and placing a gentle kiss upon her forehead.

Accaria had enjoyed the night.
Even though it had been cold, the presence of Cyrus had kept her warm, the stars had even twinkled that night as if the spirits of the past had acknowledged them as lovers, having crashed in the pillows that night exhausted, she had slept with out much of a resistance. Surprisingly Accaria did not snore and had not disrupted Cyrus by stealing the furs, pretending to still be asleep as she had woken up as his strong arms moved from her and tucked her in the blankets and furs, Accaria would watch him go and clean himself up for the day.
When he returned, Accaria quickly closed her eyes again as Cyrus placed a kiss on her forehead, his soft goatee tickled her forehead and she would smile softly opening her eyes to look at him softly " is it morning already? " she would ask as she used the covers as a screen to dress herself although he would see her abdomen which would forever have his mark upon.
"I guess it time to get to work.. will I see you later this evening"

"I'm afraid it is," he would draw back with a smile, allowing her space to rise whilst perhaps sneaking a glance...and then regretting it as the sight of the scar on her stomach reminded him of what he'd done on that Fateful night... Accaria had long forgiven him and reassured him often how it was her favourite scar, but Cyrus still felt guilty for losing control and his smile faded slightly as he glanced away.
At the mention of getting to work, Cyrus would force the guilt to the back of his mind and look back with a smile and a nod, advancing and embracing Accaria gently before taking an extra moment to steal another kiss from his love. When they finally parted, he would flash her a grin before crossing the room to the door where he had hung his furs the night before.
With a wave, Cyrus would take his leave, pulling on his furs before stepping out the door. Seeing the light snowflakes dancing around him made the tiger smile - like the snows he'd experienced back at home, Cyrus always liked this kind of weather and the fun that came with it; but with a job to attend, he wouldn't let the snow distract him for too long and make a move towards the Barracks.
