Regardless, Jyn hesitantly returned the hug with less enthusiasm, still unsure of how to take it. However, they accepted the scroll from Lahlil with less hesitation, though they were visibly uncomfortable with their unsure footing in this situation. There was too much unsaid.
Awkwardly following her lead, Jyn nodded slowly. "Uh, yeah... rest is probably a good idea. I should go see how Kikan is healing up, now that you have mentioned it. I will let myself out, thank you." Kazuto gave a wry smile at Lalhilโs attempt to hide the information given. Although he only gathered a piece of it, the hushed nature of it made him believe it was somehow critical. It was for this reason that he made a note to remember the girlโs face as she left. Byakko knew how persuasive the right pain is to the right person. But now was not the time to torture truths out of teenagers. Now it was time to give warning.
โThe waning forces of Kogarashi has given birth to a new breed of rogues. Trigger happy teens who are haphazardly attacking rogues and villagers alike. The last time I saw the group they were being pursued by the remaining rogue ninja. Right now the group is weak, but you should eliminate them while theyโre small. Especially since one of them bore the symbol of Konoha.โ He said matter of factly. The tiger curled into a ball against the wall as he waited for something more to do. Of course, Kazuto expected Lalhil to be surprised that Konoha rogues were part of the rogue group causing anarchy within Gimangakure. He doubted she would show her concern, but action was the sole reason he came to warn her.

Kazuto took a long drag of his cigarette and mindlessly watched the smoke rise. He knew that this was not a moment for redemption, and he wasn't even sure that he wanted it in his heart. His mind was shuffling through a distorted mess of mixed emotions. However, his signature grin perked up as soon as Lalhil finished speaking. "I guess that's how cats and dogs work. Or should I say cats and bats? Regardless, I will destroy this village one day. I will do so whether or not you remain the hokage. But, that day is not today. So if you promise to not jam a dagger in my back on the way out, then I promise to leave without making a mess." He said as he called for a truth. Not so much a truth so much as a temporary ceasefire. Truth be told, he really did not want to fight Lalhil. His memories of her bravery and good idolized her in his mind. However, he still needed to wage war against the goddess who granted her resources to Konoha. It was things like these which complicated the sweet satisfaction of revenge. It made it harder to be the monster he wished to unravel on the world.

With a short bow and a half smile, Kazuto turned around and left. He was by the doorway exiting the building when he felt the lack of familiar presence. "Come on boy. Time to go." He said with his eyes closed. Byakko rose to his feet and looked up at Lalhil. A much more sincere bow was granted to her by the tiger. The animal growled as it brushed past Kazuto, who in a strange role reversal was too proud to admit how he truly felt about leaving her. Even though the man knew this to be true, he could not admit it so now. Instead, he left to flee.
tabEventually Lahlil made her entire way back to the office, having successfully skipped the entire way there. Really it would be an achievement for anyone to be this naturally happy throughout the day, but for Lahlil? This was a way of life. She was a explosive little bundle of emotions ready to take on the world!

Clementia Anna Fortressa Kaguya Walking into the office behind the clone Clem wasnt sure what to expect, in all honesty she was half expecting for this to be some elaborate trap. Clementia Anna Fortressa Kaguya The job seemed alot more tame then what clem was imaging but she wasn't against it especially now that shes contracted to do so. Listening to the kages request and taking the folder, clem would skim through the info, best to know what this pregnant chick looked like and not accidentally find the wrong one. Though the bit about the forest did bring up some unsavory ideas of what could of happened if who ever did that to the piles of ash was still around. "Righto if she left tracks shes good as found. though i do ask if you could spare a few medical supplies and a good bit of trap wire." With that said clem stood up and started to head for the door "ill be waiting at the gates if you could send it their that be great." After firing six rounds the heat from firing the bullets are stored into the blades, storing this heat then releasing it by using a single handseal the blade will glow a bright blue. This lasts 4 post on contact, the heat will simply cause a burning effect this is due to the seals engraved on the side of the blade. Used correctly the blade can be used to cauterize wounds or cause 3rd degree burns. If making contact with an enemy weapon will attempt to disarm them via these burns equal to the B-rank or inflict burns of the B-rank.
Little feet pattered as Thalia ran her way through the Hokageโs office building, Samhain perched happily on her shoulder. She had turned six! Her mom and dad were both off doing something another, and she was beyond bored. So here she was, dancing around clerical staff with happy squeals from both her and the owl bear cub. Samhain leaned in to coo something in her ear and Thaliaโs eyes glimmered with mischief. With all the speed her little body could muster she barreled down the hallway trailing hoots and snickers.
Within moments, her trap was set. Somehow she had found clear plastic food wrap in one lunch room or another and had carefully placed it in a doorway. With a village full of ninja, one would think that the prank would be easily avoided... but people got comfortable in their day to day surroundings, and it wasnt long before a victim fell to her web.
A middle-aged woman, who looked particularly in a sour mood, slammed in to the invisible wall of plastic. She gasped, flinging papers and scrolls and books, trying to rip the clingwrap off her face. The Umechika and owl cub fell to the ground in a fit of laughter, Thalia in near tears and Samhain shedding down... that is in till the lady pulled free and looked at the pair with a burning rage that rivaled her mother.
Thalia immediately sat bolt upright, her eyes wide and teeth gritted in fear. She was a goner!! The small child scrambled up and sprinted down the hall with the lady hot on her heels, still trailing plastic.
After a few twists and turns, Thalia ditched in to a room on her leftโ Lahlilโs office. She slammed the door, taking a moment to lean against it, both her and Samhainโs chests heaving. Then, without a word she darted for the Lady Hokageโs desk like a mouse running for itโs life. Sheโd crawl between Lahlilโs legs and hide in the recessed space meant for feet underneath, panting hard with wide eyes and Samhain mocking her in an almost comical fashion.

tabLahlil gave a polite nod to Clem implying that she would hold up her end of the deal after seeing the rogue out. The moment she shut the door behind her a sigh of relief escaped her lips. Playing pretend with everyone who came through that door was starting to get exhausting, she was going to relish the chance to get home once this day was over. Maybe she might even be able to take a bath! Ooo now that prospect was so exciting that it made Lahlil shake in her boots.
As a matter of fact I think I deserve a little treat hm! Fingers grabbing at the cup of flowers at her desk corner, the kage casually moved them aside to expose a stash hidden in plain sight, a cubbie hole to be precise. Filled to the brim with numerous chocolates that she had procured from some of the more enigmatic individuals that have breezed through the bazaar. Each one was a specialty that always tend to sell out quick, unless you're a kage that is.
In hindsight Lahlil should probably feel bad about leveraging her power for her own comfort but in her mind something so small could surely be overlooked, no? Regardless, her window of respite would need to be placed on hold when there came a slamming of her office door. Looking up from her desk Lahlil started to wonder if perhaps she wasn't imagining things before she felt something] scurrying between her legs. "Eep!" She squeaked before finding it to only a tiny tot Thalia. The reasoning behind her childish cowering quickly making itself apparent as the frustrated shouts of one of her hires echoed down the hallway.

The rage in the worker's eyes cooled once the implications of what she had just done dawned on her. Now Lahlil was quite aware of what people would often say about her, but she was not a liar. At least not a direct one. "Let me understand this.. you come breaking through my door, looking for some little girl? Will let me ask you this, do you see a little girl in here?"
Immediately the woman down turned her nose too afraid to make eye contact. "N-no Lady Hokage. Forgive me, I shall take my leave now." Practically flying out the door in embarrassment, Lahlil let out the breath she had been holding in once the coast was clear. "And just what are you doing hm?" Her tone towards Thalia probably could have done with more firmness but Lahlil always did have a soft spot for Sadayo's daughter. "Causing bit of mischief I see." The poor girl must have been bored out of her mind with both her parents out of the village. Perhaps Lahlil would be able to do something about that.
Grabbing the chocolate she had been about to eat Lahlil instead presented it go Thalia, her lips formed in the Sshh'ing motion. "I won't tell if you won't. If you're bored you can always accompany me on my errands if you like."

After the guard allowed entry, the group arrived at the Hokage's office. Ranmaru once again took the opportunity to evaluate the structure which housed the leader of the village. Given the size and magnitude of the village, it was incredible that it was all governed by one central figure. Although the five great clans do have one leader which is elected, the other four clans do still have influence over the course of the nation's development. Well, three clans now, but that was something for another day. Turning to Jyn, Ranmaru gave a polite bow of his head. "Perhaps your leader will be more responsive if you do the introductions. I would hate for our wisdom to be lost on ignorant ears." He said earnestly. As much as he loved to express all of the knowledge within him, he was not interesting in speaking to the metaphorical deaf. There was a mission which drove the samurai to this location. The completion of that goal was more imperative than trivial joys.
