(Cartwright) vs Nuke Fusion

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke turns a shoulder and kicks out just before the two count, as the bout continues. It seems as if it's going to take a little more than that to take out the WWFG legend!  

[Cartwright]

Nuke shows his toughness in kicking out, but Cartwright feels good about the way things were going.

The Lad knows what he is doing is working, so he looks to continue the offence by Irish Whipping Nuke into the ropes to catch him with a back elbow on the return!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Fusion is gripped by the head and dragged up, before being sent across the ring with a rather strong Irish Whip.

But Cartwright is British, and not Irish!

Nuke ducks under the elbow and continues running, dropping and sliding under the bottom rope and walking to the barricade outside!  

[Cartwright]

It looks like Nuke has had enough of this strike fest and fancies a break, earning him boos from the crowd.

Cartwright can't let this happen!

The Lad follows Nuke under the bottom rope, looking to continue bringing the fight to him outside the ring!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

As Cartwright leaves the ring, Nuke springs into action..

He rushes forward and attempts to crush The Lad up against the ring apron!  

[Cartwright]

Nuke has set his trap and Cartwright falls for it as his spine soon meets the ring apron, causing him to drop to his knees in pain!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke takes a few seconds to put one hand on his back and one on his chest, feeling the pain through clenched teeth.

He then aims a hard knee to the temple of The Lad!

If successful, he'd aim to bring him to his feet and throw him into the steel steps!  

[Cartwright]

As Cartwright feels the pain shoot up his back, it allows Nuke to blast him with a knee to the head and drops him face-down on the floor.

But Nuke isn't done there as a big crash is soon heard around the arena, as the steel steps go flying thanks to Cartwright's shoulder being driven in to them!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke looks up at the ref, who is currently counting a ten count. He rolls into the ring and back out again, much to the annoyance of the ref.

Fusion walks past a fan and stomps on the floor to make him step back, before chuckling to himself.

It was at this point that the crowd began to heavily jeer, as Nuke soaked it in and raised a fist in the air.  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright meanwhile is just getting some sense back in to his head, feeling his right shoulder and wondering what happened!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke beats his chest with that raised hand.. and then rushes at Cartwright, aiming for a boot to his head against the steps!

 

[Cartwright]

Cartwright opens his eyes and looks up to see Nuke coming his way, so he attempts to use his legs to drop toe hold on to the top of the steps!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The Uncrowned Champion's head dropped and hit the steel steps with a reverberating

CLANG!

Nuke crashed against them, sending the top half flying..

The ref continued his second count now..

Three!

 

[Cartwright]

Cartwright gets to his feet at the count of four, when he notices that the top of the steel steps seems to have flown past the steel barricade, beware fans!

The Lad looks to get hold of Nuke and body slam on top of the bottom half of the steps!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke is already wincing in pain before he is picked up and body slammed hard onto the unforgiving steel!

He arches his back in pure agony as the crowd roar on, the ref counting again..

Six!
