Altae Forte0016 it looks to me like the Wii is coming out in November, a recent issue of Game Informer is saying that Metroid Prime 3 is coming out in November, so I don't know, you can't really have a game without the system I dunno, most places I check are pointing to sometime in October. a guy I asked at EB Games said late October or early November

I've already got my reorder for it.
I cant wait to get my grubby little hands on the glory that is the Wii.
One of the coolest aspects of it is the over whelming amount of third party support it's getting.
Ubisoft alone already has 7 games almost ready to be released at and near launch time.

Midway's even announced a version of the next installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise for it. For the first time since the SNES.

I'm definatly going to get a Wii. I'm a really big fan of Nintendo(I don't really have any other systems besides Nintendo systems). I think the new controller style sound awesome! I mean, you can do the stuf just hby moving the controller around. I'm really looking forward to trying out the new controller.
Hey, does anybody know about how much the system will cost?

My goal is to get the Wii the day it comes out. First off, it's being released with the holy trinity of launch games (Mario, Zelda, and Metroid.) Red Steel looks like an amazing game, and eventually, SSBB will be released. And on that day, there will be much celebration between me and my friends.

Angelic Light Blue I'm buying an Xbox 360, and putting Wii on my Christmas list. ('Cause I want FRICKING both! rofl ) No no no! Use logic! If you buy the Wii and put the 360 on your X-mas list, then YOU save money, while your parents pay more!

Blade Dancer, that's the problem. My parents would never buy me anything that was $400. And I already bought it now, lol.
The system will cost either $250, or $200. More likely $200 because it's less confusing.
And yes, either VERY late October, or early November...

Well, a few days ago (thursday I think) my mom said that the news said it was coming out in Japan in December and US release was undetermined. But then one day later, G4 said that the New York Nintendo press conference said it was coming out November 19.

Well I've never ever tried any Nintendo system before aside from briefly toying with my friend's and quite frankly I'm just contented with the PS console, but looking at the prices which are still going over my budget, I will probably not be getting any new console anytime soon ^^

I'm getting a Wii because it's got two styles of gameplay; some games you'll use a Gamecube-esque controller (games like super smash bros brawl); others you'll use the Wii-mote (games like Red Steel); and others you'll be able to choose (games like LoZ: Twilight Princess)
Heil the glory of official emulators and roms, too.
