Protip: DL'ing anime is illegal. Is watching a cartoon worth breaking laws?
No.I buy what I have, or borrow from my friends.
heh no offense but its hardly worth getting worked up over, i have a few reasons as to why DL rather than buy:
1. only 1% get on sale on DVD with english subs, all the good stuff isnt released in the west.
2. the DVD subbers are people educated to translate they get the script and translate directly from jap-to-eng, this means they dont watch the anime and therefore often get the sentences wrong as there is various ways you can translate a japanese word into english depending on the situation.
3. Shinsen-subs for one have better translaters than the companies use... i prefer that my subs actually make sense over paying for a product thats halfassed subbed.
4. I've done worse things than stealing stuff im not allowed to buy
ninja much worse so i got no moral quarrels with it
