I love a good fantasy novel. I also like humor and satire, and political literature like Les Miserables. Honestly, I think anyone who doesn't enjoy reading is messed up in the head.

I've probably read all sorts of book genre. for me, it really depends on the mood. if I'm thinking of reading a romance novel, i'll go for nicholas sparks. but my favorite authors would be paulo coelho and james patterson.

...
Philosophical stuff (except religious things), and some "mainstream" books like "The Parfume" (< Or however it is called in english). And horror stuff, but not the splatter stuff. I prefer novels about ghosts, I often use them as inspiration for my writings.

I would have to say my favorite book genre would be fantasy. Big fan of Bryan Jacques work (Redwall Series). Could never get into the Wheel of Time Series (Robert Jordon). Also like a twist of reality kind of books. Such as Dan Browns' novels. Can't wait for his next book (hopefully early next year. Called the "Solomon Key" I believe)

Fantasy. The catch? I don't read very much. I write fantasy stories. So much more creative, I think.
Favorite fantasy series: The Belgariad by David Eddings.
