Fang slipped in behind him and looked around the room. She did not bow, but simply kept her back to the door, once again, taking the formal place of his guard. She didn't know what his teacher would be like, after all.

Tori watched his teacher walk out of his room, sweatpants and a muscle shirt on. He was a bulky man, with a scar or two and a sabre in one hand. "You're early," he said that with a raised eyebrow, "Why would that be?" "Oh, I have a trip and I need to leave early," he said with sheepish smile. His teacher looked over at Fang, walking over. With his out-stretched hand, he flicked her in the forehead. "Respect the sparring ground Lass," he said, his throaty accent showing, "A bow shows respect for fighting."

Fang nearly twitched in annoyance at his flicking her. Seriously? She didn't feel like fighting for the moment, though, so she gave a quick bow so he would leave her alone to her thoughts. She changed her appearance to give a suit of respect, a smaller girl, small and frail with hair white as the snow and white pupils. "and a flick shows respect for...?"

His teacher chuckled, a small bow to the lady. "That be your punishment for not showing respect. I'm sorry if it hurt you, little lady." Tori walked over to the sword rack and picked up a sabre, just a bit smaller than his teachers. He hoped he could land a hit or two. Getting into stance, he lunged at his teacher. The bulky man moved away in time, parrying the slice and going for Tori's head. Tori ducked and sliced for the man's legs. Jumping away from them, Tori tried again. His teacher stomped on his sword and kicked Tori, keeping Tori's sword under his foot. Tori smiled. Now it would get interesting. Tori ran at the man, who slashed at Tori with hsi blade. Tori dodged both slices, ducking and grabbing the hilt of his sword. With a smirk, the sword teacher put more weight onto the blade, making Tori pull hard. Then his teacher hit him with the hilt of his sword, on top of Tori's head. Tori gritted his teeth and pulled harder, getting hit in the head a couple more times. Finally getting the sword away, Tori said in a whiney voice, "You're merciless today Teacher!" His teacher smirked. "You're trying to skip on me. I have rights, Lad," said he.

Fang couldn't help but laugh freely. She leant back against the wall watching the fight in her most innocent of forms, and the little girl, which was her, covered her mouth a few times to hide small giggle fits. Tori was an ant compared to his teacher, and she couldn't help but find the fighting humorous. She wondered if she would ever have time to train with this man...it looked like fun. She stretched, giving herself falcon eyes, so they they could zoom in and follow closely every single move, taking in the tactics and style of movement.

Tori made a sad sound, dodging a kick as he stood. With a slash, he said, "You suck Teacher!" The scarred teacher parried the blow, swiping at Tori's abdomen. Tori bent a bit, dodging the swipe and going for another of his own. It skimmed the top of his teacher's feet, but no more. The big man laughed, stepping forward and shoving Tori with his shoulder and knocking him down. He put his sword to Tori's neck and laughed, offering a hand. "You're a bit slow today," he said to his pupil, opening his hand. The Sabre vanished. With a shrug he said, "Maybe it be your wings. Anyway, 30 push-ups and 30 squats for being defeated." "Yes Master Seiries," grumbled Tori, getting on his knees and putting his hand in the shape of a diamond.

Fang watched curiously, and stood, stretching, and took her regular form, without the wings and all, arching her back, "Oh! that's much better." She quirked her head at Tori and blinked. All that hurrying just to be given more to do. She couldn't help but laugh at the irony, "Perhaps his mind was on other things?" she suggested, putting her hands behind her head.

Seiries shrugged, getting the knots out and looking over at Fang, smiling. "Not a Royal after all? It be ok, me lips be sealed," he said with a laugh. He had grown up in the slums of the city, and he was only recruited because of his talent with weapons. As for what the slum folk said about him...he didn't care. He was living a life he was happy with. "Well, when ye fight, your mind should be on the fighting. Isn't that right your Royal Pain in my Arse?" he said with a laugh, adding a little bit of weight on Tori's back. Tori grunted. "Yes Teacher," he said with a glare, looking up at Seiries like he had just eaten his mashed potatoes. Teacher was only playing, he knew, but he didn't like push-ups.

"Hey, that's what I call him!" Fang exclaimed and giggled walking forward, "We should spar sometime...after we come back, of course." she offered her hand to the big man, who kind of reminded her of Meiyu, "My name is Angel." She was stuck with it, now, she really couldn't tell him her real name.

Seiries bowed to her, lightly from the hip. "Pleasure to be meeting you. Seiries Teslain, Arms-master of the Royal house." When he heard what Angel had said, he laughed. "Well, when he isn't late, he be thinking of other things. I needed a fitting nickname. Of course, if His Highness ever heard it might be my hide," he said with a happy chuckle, "But I be doubting it. And I would love to spar with you."
Tori finished his push-ups and started his squats. Tori figured his teacher and Fang would get along, but he didn't know it would be this well. Of course, they both liked fighting, so he wasn't too surprised. "Can't I please leave after this?" he asked pleadingly. "Nope. Ye need to learn a lesson lad. Besides, this is the first time you've been on-time."

"I'm his new body guard." Fang replied when he said what his job was. "I'll make sure to get him to class. On. Time." There was a slight growl in her voice when she looked down at Tori so he knew she meant it. Seeing him though, she couldn't really act angry or violent, and instead giggled again, saying like she read his mind, "You look like you just watched someone else eat your mashed potatoes." She rose an eyebrow. "Y'know, if you'd like...I could do the exercises with you..." she suggested.

Tori was suddenly touched. Fang would do thsi horrible thing with him? That was so sweet of her! "That might make it better," he said with a smile, cringing at the on time thing. Dang it. He would never be late again.
Seiries raised his eyebrows, surprised. Another one? He had thought Tori had given up on having them. "You surprised me Torisen," he said with an impressed voice, "After the last guard got killed a year ago, I thought you had given up on them. Of course, to take her must mean she was up for the job." He hadn't said it to scare Angel off or anything. He was simply surprised. There was an assassin after Tori, and he had been killing off bodyguards. "Besides, I thought the King didn't want you taking any more of his guards?"

"The only to even come close t having a chance to kill me, are Seith and his Guards, and he's learned his lesson." Fang shrugged, "Most don't think there's any fight to little ol' me." she took the form of a small human child with a quivering lip, before her regular form again, "and it seems Grecian has no real need to kill me." she reffered to the bloody king. After a moment, she got down into position, and fixed her arm behind her back, using the other, and began her push-ups, "How many?" she asked, looking up at Seiries.

Seiries paused for a second, then purst out laughing. "Seith finally got what he deserved then!" he said with a laugh, hugging his sides, "That b*****d never did know when to let things go!" Through laughs, he told her, "30," and tried to watch them as they did it.
Tori waited for his teacher to give the number. Sometimes he would get playful and change them, making him work harder. "Ready?" he asked Fang with a bright smile.

"I know right." she smirked and faced Tori, giving him a playful wink, "just remember: I used to work at a steel mill." which meant, this was childs play for her, easy, like she did it on a daily basis. She slowly bent her arm until her protruding chest touched the ground, and then lifted with ease, breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth as she repeated it, counting in her head.
